you're right , the people there(Zamfara state) are friendly especially in the interior. But the issue of banditry in the north is something else currently. My twin brother served in Kaura Namoda Local Government Area, though he is from Edo state, south South Nigeria, in 2010/2011 service year Batch C to be precise.

Will advise if you can redeploy cause of security reasons.

The fact that you even reported there in the first place for camp shows that you don't value your life!
Even your President will dare not visit there or post any of his children to serve in any of the northern states if at all they do nysc.
