ICEWIN: i use to be a fan boy of tecno, infinix, samsung, apple. most especially tecno and infinix. samsung and apple i really wish back then that i can get the flagship, well thankGod for today that have used the both phone from mid range to high end. last year i used iphone 11 pro and this year have used samsung note 20,currently am using iphone 12,i just love the design thats all. back to the topic; have come to understand that iphone doesn't worth the hype, the only thing they worth is their design and OS any other thing can also be gotten from other device for a cheaper amount, likewise sammy, sammy worth the hype when it comes to innovation. have come to understand that infinix, itel, tecno worth the hype when it comes to budget friendly. xiaomi/realmi are budget friendly, good in innovation, all round the two product are good. most of the features samsung or apple boast of in their flagship can be found in these two product at a cheaper rate without you breaking the bank. my next flags

That's very true my guy..iPhone is just all about hype and packaging..there are features you won't find on iPhone but other cheap Brands have.
Juliearth: Your friend is lucky. This was the type killed in my parents' bathroom last year, but ours was way bigger. It hid under the washing machine and only comes out at night. It was smart and also lucky because we hardly lack power supply in my area so once its dark and everywyere is quiet, it comes out to play and once it hears footsteps and the light bulb is turned on, it runs back to its hiding place. That night,it was rainIng heavily so it didn't feel the vibration of my dad's footsteps approaching, there was no light so my dad didn't turn on Bulb on(usually that is his cue to run back to its abode). My dad had a torchlight on, he opened the door, saw the snake, seeing how big it was, he just locked the door, alerted us in our rooms, turned on the gen and called some guys in my BQ. The snake was so violent that as at when those guys in the BQ approached, it was poking the door to the bathroom with its head, angry to attack.... They waiting till morning, called those local Hausa guys to exterminate it.
What I can say from my experience is that leaving your doors open or growing/maintaining flowers and green grasses attracts these creatures. We had a poultry farm then( which is natural magnet for snakes, especially this type). Moreso, my dad is an anthophile. My house is fenced with flowers and green grass. To maintain this, we water them all year round, making everywhere cold and breedable for snakes. This factor plus the poultry house made us to kill at least 2 snakes every week outside my house that time. Another thing is that my parents sometimes leave the door hanging open, so the one killed in their bathroom may have crawled in at such times or it may have come in through the toilet sit( blame our builders for that). From op's picture you can see a Rat. Snakes dont feed off on human food, they feed on Rats and a Snake that lacks what to eat in its abode would have no choice but to find its way out... Take precaution against these factors I listed here and you won't see a snake lurking inside your house.
Other tips include: Fumigate your house every week with sniper or DD force. These insecticides kill/weaken/drive snakes away.
Put an iron net on your windows and fix torn parts.
Clear all bushes and litre around your house
Fumigate your surroundings twice every month. Alternatively, make a blend of garlic, bitterkola and corn flower and spread around your compound. Do this weekly.
After using the rest room, keep your toilet sits down. When fumigating, pour some into the toilet sits too. ...
Warlord2014: At least i have started studying snakes...because of my fear for snakes,i developed interest in identifying them according to venomous and non-venomous ...just trying to know how best to avoid them. That snake you killed is a rat snake...and it is non-venomous.
I don't believe you Bruh and neither do i need to allow a snake to bite me to confirm if it's venomous or not.
I consider every snake venomous just that some have it more than others.
Okay this big deadly cobra was believe to have come through the toilet sink through the broken soak away as a result of the erosion from the canal, for how long the cobra was in the bathroom is unknown but we believe it wasn't there for long because it had just finished consuming a big rat and was just looking for a cool place to chill and digest it's breakfast before it Waterloo was met..
