Sometimes I think"Imagine if all these operrators came at the same time?" Certainly it would have sparked off severe competition and forcefully lower call rates. I wish we had a more creative Government ![]() |
Guys, check out this site http://www.insecure.org I dug up a great deal of hot stuff with it from major servers accross the globe. Check it out yourselves and lets talk. |
The new proxy seems to reject "tunneling" from java-based and even standard software. I haven't been able to get my client servers to work with it. Any ideas? |
toluxa1:Re-activate your sim, or just take it to their office and ask for a new one(you might have to misplace it on purpose). |
Guys, just found an alternative to the blocked default proxy on mms. PM ME for details. Some of you know it already |
Well, looks like i have some spare time to visit this thread. whats new ppl? |
For those of you who were able to get TOr to work, is it faster than freegate? |
Freegate is simply Awesome! It's made ultrasurf a shadow of itself. You wont believe I knew about this software over six months ago! I thought ultra was better then. @Info, Thanks for breaking down the steps, I'm sure everyone found it helpful. I particularly like freegate because of its simplicity, speed and also it doesn't run out of bandwidth like ultrasurf. I'll give them a donation(yea, right!) |
Well I agree with all, but you know the country we're in, MTN makes over 30 BILLION every month. So all this will be history as soon as "Ghana must go" exchange hands. |
Zain's web services are working quite well, especially teh activation. The internet settings seem to have a problem, as it comes without complete configuration. Well just manage mms and wap. Lets see if etisalat gives us broader options! |
JAP works like freedom, however I haven't gotten it to work with zain. |
Hey guys ways up? Well, as yal know the reds(now green and purple!) have blocked direct proxy access to the net. Now you need to use third party softwares like ultrasurf and freegate. Freegate works fine. |
Zopisco:To fully appreciate the wireless, you first need to know about "Wired lans". The easiest difference between the two lies right in the name: wired and wireless. One requires a physical medium for connectivity, the other seeks similar signal beamed over a range of distance. For a more comprehensive detail, check this out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wireless_lan |
just2nice:Don't get the wrong idea. I just used that to represent their stealth advances Anyway, they look sure like they'll do quite well. It'll be a big shame for zain if they loose gears and get beaten! |
Way to go dude. By the way guys, is MTN MMS free? I've been sending hordes of pics, videos and songs to my pals allover the world for free, for over a month now. I don't know if I'm equally lucky or something ![]() |
Etisalat seems to be doing quite a good job in pre-intimacy advertisment. They're the oldest and biggest in the Middle East. They also got some sweet innovative ideas. You may wanna know that they're currently recruiting new empoyees, so hurry in fast as I hear they got more friendly packages than even title holders Y'Hello! ![]() |
Who knows the etisalat address for custom phone number activation? |
I used it once. Its not too bad, but I don't know if its still working, |
if you still use mms and wanna access the activation page, use a proxy service, like http://www.ztunnel.com works fine. There're many others, like 289.us |
You guys really have a way with words! |
Read this article on Google's new browser, Chrome. I'll try it later. http://www.iht.com/articles/2008/09/02/technology/02google.php |

Bootylicious |
has dmc.ng.zain.com worked for anyone? It sends unactivated confgurations to me. |
Has anyone tried out proxyway? It doesn't seem to work properly, though its similar to proxifier |
Heard of this software m-Guard. It can help you find your phone if stolen or lost. It has a very impressive system, that i wanna try and reverse-engineer it! http://www.dexmobile.com NB: It's very stable with sonyericsson phones. It should work on java enabled phones though. Have fun! Next time you enter "One-Chance", free give, they'll "undo" their robbery themselves! ![]() |
Someone try this and tell me what you think: Change your proxy to 172.23.1.20- up to 25. port =80. Tell me what you make of the site you come across. I think its their billing page or some close related security site. |
Well, I guess the poster has learnt his lesson the hard way. But guys, uno mtn made so much money at the beginning that they shifted their headquarters from south-africa to nigeria. Blame the government. When they came in there was no one, no jurisdiction, no rule, not even a law to control their movement. They simply gave the President, Senate, House of Assembly, Govenors and the exceutive council free sim cards and 1year free call and they had direct access. So even when we were paying 50 naira per call, the most expensive in africa and the middle east put together, 12,000 for sim, no one cared. That's the country we live in. The wrong people on the wrong seat, doing the wrong thing at the wrong time. Out of pressure, they decided to go to freecalls. Do you think it has a dot of effect on them? Almost By default, calls at night are free. Only the international call transfer angencies charge for such calls. Well, lets hope for a change, . Meanwhile, I don't pity anyone of them. Even zain can't detect where their "charging falied" error is coming from! Browsing is just like reading a book, Buy, borrow, even steal; it doesn't change what's written |
@Poster, Your idea doesn't fit your dazzling looks. I think we've had some good share of free stuffs. Lets help them make some profit instead. I have no pity for the Y'Hello guys anyway! ![]() |
Gee! Thats a very grave error!, Imagine if 50% of Nigerians had their account increased like that? They'll loose millions in hours! I guess its a(-++ ) instead of (- --). If you know a bit of programming you'll understand the error |
