NeckingNgulping: It's amazing that no one cares about the owner of the new heart. Even the boy did not reminisce over the fact that someone's life has gone for him to live (whether the owner was sick before or died is immaterial) 1 Like |
Politics / Re: Billions Pour Into Nigeria As Tinubu’s Reforms Start To Pay Off - Bloomberg by Powersurge: 5:34pm On Mar 08 |
seunmsg: Any platform can be a propaganda platform. Besides you don't have to tell a lie, you just bend the reality. If for instance, Nigeria is a transit channel for 40% the transactions (as this has happened before), the journalist has truthful reported $1b. But in reality only $600 remain in the country. 2 Likes |

Sports / Re: Super Eagles: Why Jose Peseiro, NFF Parted Ways by Powersurge: 4:44am On Mar 03 |
Amotolongbo: He knows his worth. NFF will be negotiating ₦3m for a local coach. Meanwhile, they were wiping Paseiro's ass with ₦75m monthly. What stops NFF from paying a local coach $40k? It's simple, we see our own as worthless. |

EreluRoz: You are either stupid or gullible. Come to think of it, he's a German citizen. He's a billionaire. Why do you think he cares about your sorry ass? A country living in penury for over 100 years with a $20 per month as minimum wage. You open your useless mouth dey talk rubbish. |
Sports / Re: NFF Appoints Augustine Eguavoen As Interim Manager Of The Super Eagles by Powersurge: 11:36am On Mar 02 |
This looks demeaning. This reminds me of my first job after graduation. All my colleagues were master degree holder with 8-15 years experience in that field (though they were all thieves. Like 98% of Nigerians). My former manager (an Indian man) has ND equivalent. He was paid in dollars ($2000 then). He's entitled to vacation to anywhere once a year with his family. Meanwhile, my colleagues salary were ₦40,000-₦50,000. After the Indian man left, they brought a fresh graduate (like myself) from India. He came as a management trainee (like myself), yet he was the Manager. You can never be the best for the job in the eyes of Nigerians. 99 Likes 5 Shares |
Food / Re: ₦100 Akpu Costs ₦1,687 In Europe by Powersurge: 5:08am On Mar 02 |
yusufadebayo02: I have said this several times, it's either you people are illiterate or just trying to be deceptive. What common scales are u using to normalise this? Hourly minimum wage here is about ₦120. UK minimum wage is £15. How many wraps of fufu can u use ₦120 buy in Nigeria?- a country from whence the product was exported. Yet £15 will get 15 wraps-even without them tilling the ground and breaking their backs to produce it. I spit on the leaders of this country's corps. 1 Like 1 Share |

Travel / Re: Photo: Ikeja BRT Station Just Behind The Ikeja Train Station by Powersurge: 5:03am On Mar 01 |
wwwihy: Unfortunately, BRT is currently inefficiently run. You will wait for hours without bus. Meanwhile, there are hundreds of buses packed at different stations. They pack people like fish. So much discomfort for something that was initially planned to be within 5 minutes interval before the next bus comes. They resume late and close freaking early. |

Zooposki: increasing base salary or minimum wage will further push up the inflation. We are in unchartered territory. Not increasing it will continue the woes. Inflation needs to bbe return to single digit within 6 months. Especially food inflation. |

yinkus6750: If this is pushed, he will definitely go to jail. He has used his office to arrogate relationship to himself. He established a relationship with a student under his care which is against educational policy in the country. While undet oath to act as locus parentus, he used his office to cowed the lady into relationship, of which saying no would have been tantamount to victimisation. |
