Politics › Re: 3 States Domesticate Harmonised Tax Laws Ahead Of Take-off by Praise202(m): 11:14pm On Jan 01 |
DeLaRue: That has nothing to do with the tax law.
The tax law HAS NOT INTRODUCED ANY NEW TAX on bank transfers.
All the new law has done is swap who is responsible for paying the N50 transfer fee. Until 12 midnight last night, the N50 was deducted from the receiver's account. Under the new tax law, it will be deducted from the sender's account instead. This makes sense.
If I send N10,000 to my cousin who is a student in a far away university. Under the old law,he would receive N9,950 with N50 transfer fee deducted.
Under the new tax law, my cousin will receive the entire N10,000 without N50 transfer fee deducted. I, the sender, will now be responsible for paying the N50 transfer fee, so in effect N10, 050 will be deducted from my account.
So all the new law has done is change who is responsible for paying the N50 transfer fee.
The new tax Law HAS NOT INTRODUCED ANY NEW TRANSFER FEE.
You people are all over social media deceiving people.
IF YOUR BANK CHARGES YOU N50 TRANSFER FEE AND ALSO CHARGES THE RECIPIENT N50, THE PROBLEM IS WITH THE BANKS, not the new tax law. THE RECIPIENT WAS WRONGLY CHARGED. HE SHOULD COMPLAIN TO HIS BANK AND HE WILL BE REFUNDED.
Please don't say what you don't know.
The thing is that there will be 50naira deduction from both the sender @ stamp duty and receiver @ electronic levy. |

AllBlack: This one is 1000 times smaller than the ones I have seen. Years ago in NYSC camp, I saw a girl sitting on the laps of a corper she just met and receiving the call of the man that paid all her school fees and bills and even her camp bills. Nothing she no tell that man. She blasted him till he started crying and begging her. All for a corper she met 3 days ago but I don't blame her one bit. Na the man wey give her the power wey I blame. I'm currently experiencing the same in my relationship. I had to end the relationship on 2nd of this September. My babe went for service and left our relationship of 4yrs for a guy he meet @NYSC. This is someone I wanted to marry immediately she is done with her service. This was our plan, but because of a guy she just meet she left and said I should console my self. The one thing that made it easy for me to move on was because I didn't not invest much on her apart from money spent on airtime calling her. Duo painful, but lessons learned. Don't make mistake of thinking that your babe cannot do shit. Be guarded and have it at back of your mind that anything is possible thus proceed with caution. |

My dear send him your T- fare ( to and fro) which should be close to 100k
He will appreciate it more.
But come up with a good lie/ excuse why you will not be able to attend. |

Please don't say what you don't understand. First you need to know that Head bridge Onitsha consist of six sections selling different things which includes Drugs section Chemical section Plumbing section Tool section Rod/Iron section Food section
All these are markets within Head bridge. Because of the Nafdac raid of Drugs section, the entire market is closed. Which doesn't make sense to me personally.
The plumbing, Tools and Iron section should be open and business allowed to continue.
Nobody in it right mind supports fake and expired drugs. This is what Obi was saying that it's not good to punish a guilty person together with the innocent ones.
Mind you the market have sections and it's very possible to isolate.
You can't find someone selling Drugs in plumbing section and verse versa |

Romance › Re: The Silent Struggle Of Men: Why Financial Pressure Is Breaking Us by Praise202(m): 3:53pm On Feb 02, 2025 |
idahme: I'm not anyone's provider, i provide for myself alone and if need be my parents and siblings. Anyone outside this cycle wil need to provide for herself first before we discuss combined provisions by both parties.
I don't shy away from this discussion with women when they are in relationships with me, irrespective of the fact that i am financially very stable I don't see it as my responsibility to care for another adult unless that responsibility is jointly shared by both parties. I earn 100 naira and she earns 50naira if she can't see the family having 150 naira that person isn't a partner but w knife who sees relationship as poverty eradication scheme for women instituted by the society. Any man who wants to form macho man and carry all the load on his head can do that that's his cup of tea and not mine.
My parents worked together, they brought hundred percent of what they have into the family that is why they are still waxing till date but unfortunately people who are involved in marriage and relationship don't bring everything they have into the union because of entitlement.
I have seen qn uncle succumb to High blood pressure as a middle aged man because he carried the load of his family hundred percent even though his wife worked with a state Government while he worked with federal government. After 22 years of his marriage, he complained to my mum for the firt time that he has been running around to augment his income because his wife has never assisted him for once, while in one of his errands to earn more he had a heart attack and succumb. Guess what, the wife is now carrying hundred percent of her family load. A word is enough for the wise. The kind of family I was raised, I never believed this could be possible( that the man can be solely responsible for all family expenses down to salt, Maggie, water but lately I found a family that where the husband is solely the provider despite the wife and her first daughter working and earning . It's unfortunate world to men |

Whatever the background church of a lady, it is expected the she bids the church bye - bye at the wedding ceremony and follows her husband to his church. *This is the reason that marriage is conducted in the lady's church* and thanksgiving at the Man's church.
