I have read the national budget and the things I saw were political marginalisation of certain regions, over bloated costs, claiming projects of the past administration and projects designed for looting (streetlights, traditional rulers and APC e-warriors budget, etc).
To make matters worse, a good percentage of this budget is financed through loans even after removing fuel and electricity subsidy.

How are we supposed to develop this country with such a budget?

Like I said, most of you are still kids back then or just recently following politics in 2019/2023. You most likely was never born when Tinubu was Governor of Lagos state. Obi invested Anambra funds in brewery where he is a shareholder which means Obi is personally getting a share of the funds accruing to the company and that's a type of a fraudulent man he is.
Tinubu attracted ECONET to Nigeria, invested Lagos funds into it (without being a shareholder in the company to reap off the state like Obi is doing) and then made a tremendous profits for the state. It helped him reinvest it and also fulfil his obligations to the civil servants at a time the local government funds was withheld by OBJ Govt.

Tinubu did not attract Econet to Nigeria. He never invested in Econet as a governor on behalf of the the state. In fact the only Nigerian state as at 2001 that invested in Econet before it's closure was Akwa Ibom state.

My mind flashed back to this event when Obi locked up a sitting Governor like him right there in Anambra but see how the hypocrites who called themselves Obidient, most likely kids who were never born at the time or just began following politics in 2023. Everything Obi is receiving now is called karma, he was worse of as Governor and his records shows it. You can't package a fraud as saint.

First of all, El Rufai was not a sitting Governor when this happened (as usual agbado people and misinformation) and he was there primarily to interfere in the elections. I am not defending illegal house arrests or infringement on his right but this statement here is false.
Finally, Soludo has helped us to mention the investment obi attracted to Anambra state during his tenure as governor that is among three top 6 tax payers. Now tell us the investment Tinubu attracted to Lagos state that is among the top 20 tax payers in the state.

All illiterate agbado APC ronu economists do not know what VAT is. They will just type something for you guys in your WhatsApp groups and you will download and run along with it without proper research. VAT is called value added tariff and it is wrongfully collected in Nigeria. VAT should be collected at the point of consumption or service delivery and not at the point production. If you produce and nobody consumes, will there be a VAT in the first place?
If consumers abandon what you produce and focus on other producers, the abandoned producer will not have any VAT to remit.
We all know that production in Nigeria favours only the industrialised region of the country backed up by colonial and post colonial regimes.
If not for oil in the Niger Delta, there will still be no VAT to be reported from there.
This statistics is not a true reflection of the economic situation of the regions but of course, it has made an attempt to highlight regions with more productivity.
Now the big question is, how can we make the whole country viable and not just a few regions?
