PoliticsRe: Bills For Electorial Reforms by preciousfeb(op): 4:00am On Nov 28, 2024
There were obvious concerns with Electronic transmission of results, voters buying offences, questions of independence of INEC as a body etc. No Senate or Rep member thought it honourable to address these concerns via constitutional amendments?
PoliticsBills For Electorial Reforms by preciousfeb(op): 3:58am On Nov 28, 2024
Why are there no parliament members submitting bills for electoral reforms even after the obvious fraud in the Nigeria electoral systems and INEC? Not even from Labour Party Reps.

95% of people living in England don't know there is something callled hunger or lack of food. Food is in supplus from Churches to groceries shops are free food banks donated by people that anyone can take, eat or survive on.
Keep deceiving yourselves that UK is hard. I am enjoying the best life you can only imagine in Nigeria here. I mean you can only imagine because poverty will never make you see or think properly.

APC as a party is so evil that it has corrupted every fibre of Nigeria as a country. No institution was spared in APC corruption movement. JUDICIARY, TRADITIONAL RULERS, RELIGIOUS LEADERS, INEC, POLICE, ARMY, MEDIA and Even SOCIAL MEDIA INFLUENCERS. Some are HERE DEFENDING EVERY OF APC EVIL Agenda being dished out to the public because they are on pay roll. Thank God I left Nigeria before the evil capture. I think a Zoo is a more decent place now compare to Nigeria.
PoliticsRe: IMF: Property Taxes Can Help Nigeria, Others Develop by preciousfeb(m): 9:08am On Nov 13, 2024
There are many developed countries in the world that are not Tax dependent such as UAE. The problem with Nigeria is corruption and not lack of funds.

If the available funds have been well utilised. NIGERIA WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT.
IMF is just looking to stay in control and nothing else. Their suggestionshas never built any economy. A lender will always suggest to a borrower how best to recover his funds.
malali:
The Neo-Colonialists will not stop till every single Nigerian is DEAD.

1-Remove oil subsidy, the country will get better

2-Float the Naira the economy will be perfect

3-Now they are advocating for property tax on every house.

Why did we vote for legislators when fiscal policies are implemented on the directive of IMF and World Bank ? Removal of fuel subsidy and floating the Naira without a legislative debate and agreement by majority constituents in the house of rep and senate.....was an illegal and impeachable act.

What is all these yap about dollar? Are we in a dollar economy? Do we earn or spend dollar in this country? Many who have not earned a dollar or hold $100 in their entire life is all yapping hurling insult on Tinubu.

As for the Op, you have ₦350,000 stashed away in your account. This implies you likely own more than half a million liquidated asset and value more than million naira. That whole lot is earned on this land and only on this land. And I need to ask you... How many folks in USA have $200 saved in their account like you that have the equivalent? According to GOBankingRates, below 35% of total Americans have $100 saved in their deposit bank and that does not cover their monthly bills.
Here comes the defender of evil. Paid to pervert truth and to makes evil looks good in the eyes of men. Children of Satan, joint rulers of evil world.

Ah, the Catholic Bishops have spoken! It’s interesting how the same people who praised Peter Obi’s empty promises now have the audacity to question the FG’s reforms. Maybe they expected miracles overnight? Reform is a journey, not a magic trick.
Reno, are Tinubu promises not empty at least situation has proven that are wonderfully EMPTY but you can't say Peter Obi promises were empty because there is no metric to prove that. You are from a people known to be serial betrayals (they are enemies to all their neighbors) and you are living up to expectation.

This is a commendable initiative from the FG! Selling rice at a subsidized rate will definitely help public servants cope with the current food crisis.

The transparency measures in place are also reassuring. It's good to see the government taking steps to alleviate the burden on Nigerians. Let's hope more such initiatives follow to support the citizens!
Keep writing through your anus. I hope you don't have any relation living in Nigeria because if you do, posterity won't forgive you.

Nigerians are resilient and will rise above challenges, as always. President TINUBU is working tirelessly to ensure a better tomorrow for all.
The greatest deception of Tinubu followers is that "Tinubu is working to create a better tomorrow" when he is actually working tirelessly to pocket the whole nation and control the masses with poverty. After his four years. the whole nation will be begging him for what to eat. #Tinubu is a master strategist of deception and lies.

Tinubu and Nigeria Solution be like

Tinubu: I am going to India
Nigerians: Sir, the destination we need now is South Africa

Tinibu: my flight just took off. Will soon arrive India
Nigerians: Mr President, we want you in South Africa

Tinubu: I have arrived India
Nigerians: Mr Tinubu, our solution is you being in South Africa and not India

Tinubu: those of you wanting me in South Africa, be warned.

Tinubu knows what he's doing. We need order in the country, and sometimes tough decisions must be made.
Please lets think like humans, not thinking from a point of self deception. A president who is taking tough economic decisions that only makes his people unable to afford food but he himself is buying private jet, building mansion for his VP, buying presidential yacht, budgeting 1.5 billion for his wife's car. Is that a good leader? and will you accept such so called tough decisions?. You expect people to suffer what you the leader is unwilling to suffer. Leaders must show good example.

That still doesn't make you a non-easterner. Many of you have stayed long in Yorubaland and even boast about speaking Yoruba more than the real Yoruba. So I'm not buying anything you said. Also, only a real OMO ALE will not support his own kinsman when we all know that this is all about hate for Yoruba and not because things are expensive in the market.
May God help you and those who think like you to see the light. There is only one tribe on earth and that's humanity. The day you wake up to realise that good and evil is about humanity and not ethnicity, that's the day you will begin to live. Non of us alive today will be alive in the next 150 years. We would have become manures. It is the good or evil we do now that wil be remembered. Wake up from divide and rule used by politicians to deceive the masses. I am glad I don't belong to any of the tribes comparing themselves by themselves. No tribe in afterlife. Tinubu is asking the Nigerian massess to endure hardship while buying private jts and SuV for legislators. A leader who believe his subjects should bear the burden of his decisions why he lives on affluent. I will be the first to support anyone who is doing his best to solve a problem even if the world is against such a man.

Nigerians must remember that every leader has their strengths and weaknesses. While critics may highlight Tinubu's shortcomings, we should focus on the progress his administration is making. Change takes time, and we must give him the chance to prove himself. Let's support our leaders in building a better Nigeria instead of tearing them down.
Absolutely, constructive criticism should be backed with solutions. You can see that I highlighted solutions to the problems I mentioned. I pray God gives Nigeria a president who truly wants the country to change for the better. I find it difficult to believe that these old folks don't really know what to do. It is hard to believe that they lack good ideas.

PandoraObi:
Who will reform it? Labour party according to bitter grievingory Obi people in a party of saints, but those in the national assembly made no impact whatsoever. Even Alex Otti is doing anything different
Please don't bring ethnicity into this. The bad leaders who loot your common wealth want you to believe that they are being criticized because they belong to a particular tribe. That's what the British call "divide and rule.". It is an old pattern of suppressing opposition and leading ignorant people, study history. Only foolishness will make someone bring tribalism into national issues. The current price of things knows no tribe.

So, the whole 108 senators and 360 HOR members are involved. It is not about political party but it is the president who will give the directive for the changes.

Make we no dey forget say every leader get him own challenges. Instead of just complaining, we fit rally support to make things better.

Na only together we fit forge a way forward. No be so?
To answer your question. No rallying around TINUBU will solve the problem. The best you can get is you getting something from the national cake and still leaving other Nigerians and the society in mess.

The most EFFECTIVE SOLUTION is to reform the electoral act and amend the constitution. Let us first deal with the issues of election rigging, voting buying, and result manipulation. That alone will prevent bad people from accessing political offices. So the protest should be targeted at getting the president and legislative arm of government to reform the constitution and make laws like electronic voting and transmission of RESULT MANDATORY.

I believe the Nigerian leadership is woefully incompetent. They exhibit a complete lack of remorse or empathy. Despite the nation's suffering, they remain stubbornly out of touch with reality. Nigeria desperately needs deliverance from such callous individuals.
PoliticsRe: Sunday Igboho Kicks Against Planned Nationwide Protest by preciousfeb(m): 9:58am On Jul 30, 2024
When we say Nigeria is cursed with leadership, it is not just the politicians alone. The traditional rulers, community heads, political leaders, ethnic leaders, leaders of civil groups are all part of the problem. They collect money from politicians and turn against the people they are called to serve. May the Youths rise to wipe out all this Old evil and selfish generation who thinks no good of the nation except their own self and children.

Tinubu has shared money for them as usual and they are coming out to defend him. His only solution to problems is bribery and corruption. The youths must take their destiny in their hand s cause they have no sensible elders to look up to.

Okay tell me pls where in the UK do you live and how much you pay.
Just rent alone because for me I think I am talking to somebody who isn't living in the UK lol.
And why am I even arguing with you.
If you live in the UK I will know.
Where you live will determine where you work in the UK.
Unless like you said you live in the other side of the city and work in the other side of the city either ways transportation go finish your money. I hope you know say for UK mostly our Nigerian people na Waka dem dey waka and bus.
Bro, I assume you live in the UK but I want to say that you don't use your personal experience to create a pattern for people. I came into the same UK, got a permanent job in less than 3 months, bought a car outrightly paid for (because I have no credit records), rented a good apartment. All within 5 months of entering the UK. People will have different life journeys and don't limit people with your personal life experience.

Okay well let me drop my 1pound advice.

If you live in Nigeria and you get a job opportunity in the UK for less than 3900 per month then sit your ass down in 9ja and endure the stress a little more. Anything less that 3500 pounds per month is not worth risking it.

After bills payments every month you don't have anything to write about savings it's just like working a circle with no progress report. Something goes for isa and Canada too if you say otherwise no problem. Happy traveling just sell all your properties carry like 15k pounds extra for bills or you done for.
Even the UK citizens living there won't take the job not because they don't want to its because it's not worth it.
Sometimes people says things that they haven't experienced nor have indept knowledge of. 3900 pounds per month is equivalent to 46,800 after tax. Someone who earns that much is far above average in the UK and can almost afford anything he/she need. I personal earn within that range and knows how much I save. Anybody earning 2000 pounds in the UK can live very comfortably anywhere outside London where he/she gets accommodation in the range of 600 to 800pounds with bills inclusive. Many people who talk of bills online don't even know what the bills are and are only talking down abroad because they don't have the opportunity. There is no comparison between UK and Nigeria in any form. Don't let anyone talk down your dream of relocation. The peace you experience here alone is priceless. If you dream of relocation, please seek advice and pursue and don't follow negative views online.

NaijaCowFarm:
I am not happy that Peter Obi did not win. There are clear fundamental factors that were so herculean to overcome the very moment LP/NNPP alliance failed.
Now that Atiku is seemingly out of the way, it is time to galvanise the opposition towards 2027. It is going to be a marathon, so let us start now. There is no point wasting resources on election tribunal. With the capacity shown by Obi, 2027 is possible, but we need to do the following:

1. Not waste time and resources on election tribunal, but need to let Nigerians know of the brazen robbery APC governors and Wike perpetrated. If the PDP wants to challenge the results, let them do so themselves, without involving LP

2. Get real political structure for Labour Party across Nigeria. One reason we loss was because we did not have strong roots in the North.

3. Galvanise all elected officials to form a formidable force to take on APC, which is already reduced in strength from 21 to 12 states.

4. Peter Obi and LP should focus on the March 11, 2023 governorship polls. Obi should begin touring states LP won to boost morale of LP supports in the 22 states win high voters. Not waste resources in states like Katsina, Yobe, Zamfara.

5. LP leadership should begin talks with NNPP, progressive still in PDP and form a formidable party with structure, just like what ACN/CPC did. We need to start now.
I perceive strongly that this post was written by an APC member. Please don't be afraid too early. There is a full unveiling of all hidden agendas and manipulations of APC coming out soon. APC reign is but for a moment and there after APC as a party will seize to exist because it will be called Cancer. Your fears is understood. You cannot build a nation on evil. Life doesn't happen be chance. So we are not letting go. Corruption must end now
