TravelRe: U.S. Immigration Questions: Ask A U.S. Consular Officer by precioussameer: 4:03am On Jul 01, 2016
dear vo

i am sameer. i am an indian citizen and i live in dubai, united arab emirates(born and brought up). i am a small business owner here in dubai. i have a wife, also indian citizen. i have two kids, both are american citizens as they were born in usa. i have never over stayed in usa on b1/b2 visa. i paid hospital bills in full for both of my kids. no balance at all.
my oldest kid is almost 4 years old. i want both of my kids to study and live in usa.but me and my wife are indian nationals and have b1/b2 visa till sep 2019. so we cant live in usa with our kids on b1/b2 visa. as u know we cant live or work in usa on b1/b2 visa to support our kids.

i applied for diversity visa in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 for me and my wife. but unfortunately still unlucky.............
b1/b2 visa gives us maximum of 6 months of stay, but cant work, no bank account, no driving etc etc
we also don,t fit in any category of immigrant visa except diversity visa
my question is: is there any suitable US visa for us in which we can live and work in usa to support our kids?? or i keeping applying for
diversity visa every year?? what options do we have??
i just dont want to go to usa on b1/b2 visa and overstay, work illegally and become illegal alien. thats not me.

any advice will be very helpfull for me
thanksss

i paid 2000 dollars to the doctor for delivery
but nothing to hospital
medicaid covered hospital bills
my uncle encouraged me to do so

i hav receipts for the doctor paying 2000 dollars
but nothing for hospital bills

so u people mean that US embassy knows about the medicaid but the cbp officer at poe will have no idea that i used medicaid
i can also show the cbp, no balance on online website of hospital.

and also
can they refuse a pregnant mother with a us citizen child with her plus visitor husband
taking 13000 dollars , all receipts of the doctor for delivery

i dont have a no balance letter from the hospital.
but on hospital website, under online bill payment. by giving patients account number.there is no balance.
it was paid by the medicaid social services.

so i can show the cbp officers at POE online, that i have no balance
its jus tht i am worried about , may be they allready knew that the bill was paid by medicaid.

is there anyone who went twice to US for giving birth
anyone having experience for their second baby in us
please help me

hello everyone

here is my story and questions

me and my wife applied for our US visa in jan 2013 in dubai. and we got 5 years b1/b2. my wife was about 5 months pregnant.
At visa interview, consular officer dint asked any questions or any documents. interview lasted about 3 minutes.

we went to US in feb 2013. my wife was 6 months pregnant.
at point of entry in newyork, we got stamped for 6 months. no problems at all. cbp dint as about pregnancy, just asked about money and address of stay.i was having 9800 dollars

he had our first baby in may. before having our baby, i applied for medicaid with social services.
so all the hospital expenses was paid by the medicaid. and we came back to our home country we our US citizen baby

so now my wife is pregnant again
we have 3 years of visa left
and we are going again to US for our second baby

my question is:
will we get into some trouble this time?
at point of entry in jfk newyork, the cbp officer, will there be a red flag in this system or not
i mean : we used the medicaid before, will the cbp officer wil knew about the medicaid

we will be having 13000 dollars with us this time and a pregnant wife and a us citizen child

i ll also pay the medicaid every peny of it.
please help me out
i am desperately worried
