The people of uvwie local government area , youths to be precise, has taken laws into their hands, locking all the entrance and exits of the prestigious petroleum training institute(PTI) since yesterday 13-03-2015 .
their complain: UVWIE YOUTH WERE NOT GIVEN THE NUMBER OF SLOTS ALLOCATED TO THEM in THE just concluded employment of staffs,.
so far, all academic activities haVE been grounded.
the funny scene, the protesters where seen in front of d gate dancing, with standby DJ , preparing dog pepper soup for their consumption. Students can't go in or out, Jambites were only allowed in after much plea and the last set of jambites were forced to lodge in the school as they completed their exams a few minutes to mid-night. For now, they've not gotten the reply they seek, and thus the saga continues!
