You watch anime to some extent, you’ll know that action not backed by a good story or concept is meaningless. SNK (AOT) is superb not only because of the eye-popping action but also due to the incredible story attached to it.

Not always. You can do Superb action with little. You can have great story with little action . And you can have both. None is better than the other. And all three can be Peak in their own right. JJk sold us more of an action than a story really that is why some people are a little disappointed almost like what Vinland saga did

The moment I saw the main lead, I knew the series will be nice and also this is now my favorite Sherlock film,

Taking break from work just to finish this series in less that 24hrs really show I really enjoyed it from start to end and this is the first time all the family members are involved together…….. Sherlock and his mother was my favorite character but they were all great in their roles…………………..Season 2 should come fast.

The Culling Game just started. Most of what we've seen this season have been individual character arcs...

E.g we've had the Maki and Zenic clan arc, the Execution arc with Yuji and Yuta, Panda's arc and we've gone through introduction of many new characters and the Culling Game concept...

Maki vs Zenin clan is probably the best episode so far in the entire show and it happened this season. Its the highest rated on IMDB as well...

One thing you cannot fault JJK for this season is its character writing. Its clear that the first half is focused on character growth before the main event. And this is just Culling Game part 1. Part 2 is still coming...

Yet so far, we've had great action as well...
Yuta vs Yuji
Naoya vs Choso
Maki vs Zenin clan
Megumi vs Kirara
Yuji vs Higuruma

All of these are pretty solid fights with unique abilities and the main fights haven't even started. There's even been so much depth to the Jujutsu lore so far.

JJK isn't just fights. People who watch it just for fights are the ones who complain later about not understanding things

He is not wrong, compared to last season it hasn't lived up to expectations. That is why we are waiting for Culling Game to see if it can rival last season.

I know you like going into character development and all but you guys are few in that Whatsapp group. Majority are in for the fight .

Send a message to Support telling them of your difficulty verifying and then ask them to give you grace periode to do the verification again, i think they will send you a link to do the verification. then go print out your plastic NIN card. when taking the picture of your card put your browser desktop mode on you. These characters are flat and boring, they don't do anything except give pep talks to Matt. We don't even know anything about them, their personal life or their connections to Matt.

In Netflix Daredevil

They showed us that Foggy knew Matt from law school and they were roomates before they worked in the same law firm to starting their own firm. It was firmly established that Foggy has been Matt's best friend for years.

We knew everything about Foggy because he had depth. In season 1 we saw how he thinks, his feelings towards Daredevil, his psychology and his philosophy of doing things by the book and fighting for justice using the law. An antithesis to Matt's vigilante approach, getting justice his own way.

Karen Page character arc is one the best in the show. We saw her go from being a victim to becoming a strong female character who doesn't stop fighting against Fisk and the corrupt system even in the face multiple dangers.

This is just season 1.

Should I talk about the Nadeem, Maggie, Mr Wesley, Ben Urich, nurse Claire, Stick, Elektra, and how much they differ from the side characters in Born Again.

Even Dex/Bullseye got more depth and character development than Muse ever got.

The side characters in Born Again are inconsequential. You could remove any of them from the show and it wouldn't make a difference.

Imagine Daredevil S1 without Foggy, Ben and Karen. S2 without Frank Castle, Stick and Elektra and S3 without Nadeem. These are characters that elevated the show and it would have been a completely different show without them.

The side characters in Born Again have to be better. The bar is high.

I get you, right but not every story needs to develop a side character, it is what you want to see but is it necessary in the story, We needed to know foggy and matt are close else his dead won't mean anything. So developing a side character to what end we can't developed a character and leave it hanging. This is a TV show they don't have unlimited budget to tell everyone's story, if a story is relevant in the grand skim it will be told. Dellavolpe a side character in S1 because you will need that story in S4 etc. I get you as a viewer but from a director/ producers perspective anything that is not necessary in the grand scheme should not be there. mind you it's a TV show they have a budget, they need to make profit. If it was a novel then i thing this developement can come in. So i think a better way to look at it is, what is the show trying to achieve this season and what is it doing to achieve that. Matt putting on the mask again, after losing his friends and partner, I wonder what other developement you wanted white Tiger to have he is literaly the reason Matt put on the mask again, he is dead but the narrative still continues. i think you just have a bias on how a show should proceed, and that's fine but that it doesn't fit that bais is all on you not the Show.

Bruh these kids brain development in relation to tech and devices is too sharp and way ahead of our time. They're very tech adaptive.

The eldest boy na olodo in my books based on my intelligence in academics while his age but anything relating to games, devices, phone and this dude floors me. Too smart on those things. I changed my phone pattern password tire till I got tired and started hiding my expl!cit files then totally stopped making my phone readily available to have a chance of even operating it.

Me i won't say smart sha, cause we throw around that word alot. Kids now just have more access to Technology than we did, If you don't have access to it you won't be able to use it. I was privilege to have had access to a PC at a young age. A lot of my peers think i am smart, Nope (although i am but) i just have had a PC longer than most and wanted to learn so curiosity made me learn. My Sis had same access to that PC but she wasn't interested she still is one of the smartest people i know. Funny thing is while i was still learning how to you MS office application one of my classmates was already coding , this life eh. But yeah that's how i see it.

I avoided this show before because I thought it was some "girl power girl boss" nonsense...

But the title is quite misleading..

It's a real solid show...
They didn't make the female lead some kind of superhuman girlboss...

The male characters were not useless at all...in fact they were more experienced on the field...

Veterans actually had their moments to show why they were Veterans...

Very very unrealistic. I even thought Tucker was going to die after staying back, and miraculously he survived that scene without a single bullet touching him.

This would have been a very ideal time to refresh Joe's team in preparation for season 3, cos that is no way in hell you will face that multitude of soldiers without losing one or 2 of your men and others with injuries both serious and superficial.

Adding an emotional side to it would have made it really hit home for me for Joe.

I Don't think you have ever been in a gun fight to know what is realistic and what is not.

No show made me anxiously waiting for the next episode like Special Ops 2. None, It was up beat from Episode 1 - 8 no dull moment every episode was a Hit back to back. Only Jackal comes close. like someone said here maybe it's because it's Season 2 already.
