The "decouple and the south would be fine" claim also can't explain why southern states themselves show high rates of domestic violence, marital rape non criminalization arguments, VAPP Act non adoption, and family level bride price disputes none of which are northern specific issues. It's a national pattern with regional variation in which crime dominates (banditry/kidnapping more northwest, ritual killing and cybercrime more visible south), not two separate countries where one half is clean.

You have universities documenting your own culture more accurately than your families teach it. You have federal law, the Marriage Act, the Constitution, the African Charter, all written by Nigerians, all telling you to stop. And you collectively shrug.
