pazienza: Nnebisi didn't find Ahaba empty, he met igbo communities already domiciled there, one of those communities was one led by eze anyanwu. Nnebisi unified those igbo communities already present there,took a wife from Illah(another igbo community), and established Ahaba.

oturugo: Dude you are not making any sense here. Why not ask why Offa, Ijebu, Ifes, Ileshas, Oyos etc are Yorubas. In their history, do they to have some Nupes, Fulanis etc .

Let me give an instance, there are 3 communities in delta state: ubulubu, ukunzu, ugbodu, they speak olukunmi(a yoruboid language), they originated 4rm owo in ondo state and 2day thier language is going extinct cos of the influence of enuani ppl around them..today.. they bear names lyk chidiebele, isioma etc..so, wat ethnic group wud u call dem?
The bonny people originally speak ibani language, but 2day they speak igbo cos of the influence of igbo slaves that settled there, ibani language is now going extinct..wat wud u call dem, igbo or ibani.

Anioma is a political and social group, comprising of different ethnic groups (Enuani, Ika, Ndokwa) that share similar ideology, culture and lifestyle...
In our todays society, ppl make the mistake of thinkin ethnic group is what language u speak, but it goes beyond dat..i am from ugbomanta in asaba, nnebisi is the founder of asaba, his father is igala and his mother 4rm nteje(in anambra), i speak a language very similar to igbo with little bini in it, wat ethnic group am i?? i dont speak igala, but my forefather was igala. Ethnic group goes beyond language..the ppl of isoko and urhobo, efik, annang and ibibio, itsekiri and yoruba, spanish and portuguese understand eachother, but are they the same??
Ethnogensis cud also be the trend happening, where smaller groups with close physical environment, similar culture, common political goals and importantly, common language and ideology come together with a new identity..

Bonny igbo and ibani are spoken in bonny, ibani is the original language of the people, igbo came about when freed igbo slaves were dropped in bonny...igbo gradually became more spoken than ibani in bonny...simple..

No senatorial district in delta state can win an election alone without the support of atleast 1 other district...Great Ogboru can attest to that...
if u go to delta central on election period, u wud even find 90yrs old man casting his vote, but my people wud seat at home n tell u election is 4 hoodlums n am no exception...

If they be found to be of purposeful leadership qualities, then be rest assured that they will get my vote but i am not just going to vote for a gubernatorial aspirant simply because he is from delta north.
