TRADESTABLE.COM.NG

mobofree.com

Tradestable.com was bought by OLX.

Hopefully I will come with mine and shoot it, who knows, it might be the biggest giant ever.

@ LivingGod22, when you talk of adverts, how much are you talking about here in publicity.

Joel3:
in as much as I manage to read those things up there. though you says a lot but still you have not said any things.

let me help.

we need to know what your plans are before we can help in anything.

one you don't need office for site like nairaland or olx
only a laptop connection and steady light and can operate in Nigeria.

but office for jumia and konga kind of business

if it's something like nairaland you need to go lean web developing. is something you need to know yourself.

other kind of business site you can employ web designer. and I can be of help you know.

Thanks Joel,
After serious search, I discovered that there are few pellet of what I want to do already existing, so kind of throw me back however I will still do mine.

Sorry my post was long, but I want to host an E-commerce website just same like OLX, but don't have any idea how to do it, from calls today, I got some few positive response, but still more questions.

First like Nairaland and OLX, I will need an office/Admin to be editing wrong post, answering questions, and even helping people to use it, no matter how easy it is, there still be people who will want to ask questions, so I need to be there for them, I am a working class guy, so I need to employ people.

Is there any step by step in hosting websites like that: OLX, Ady, vconnect. and so on.

Webmasters / How Does Websites Like Ebay/jumia/konga/nairaland And Etc. Manage Their Website? by PresidKing(m): 7:26am On Sep 20, 2015
My good people, I need urgent help, Nairaland has been very useful and help to Nigeria and beyond, now it is time again.

ON WEDNESDAY 16 SEPT. 2015, WHILE I WAS TAKING MY SHOWER AROUND 5AM, COUPLE OF MORE IDEAS DROPPED INTO ME, AND THESE IDEAS HAS BEEN MAKING ME GO WHAT YOU MIGHT CALL CRAZY.

I have idea/s to improve the way we do things and it is in line with hosting a business website/s that will change Nigeria and maybe possibly the whole world, it has that capacity to change the world in the future. I know I need to contact a website designer, but I want to start from Nairaland first.

My Questions and interest are like these.

1. Who built their websites, any good idea and suggestions?
2. Are their websites manage in Nigeria or outside the country? (I am capable of both ways)
3. Do I need an office/s, it is a Business websites as mentioned?
4. Do I need to have a set of computers manage by some people, meaning I need constant power supply?
5. Any capital idea of how much it cost to host these websites, even like OLX.com.
6. What are the steps in hosting such websites in Nigeria? I know I need to register it if it is a business name.
7. Does anyone has a detail idea how they started.
8. when these website are hosted, how do I get it to the public to use it since it is virgin websites

I also want to create an app for the website/S also.

Like I said, I am in the mental thinking stage, but I am going to start it, I just need to get it right, and do my background study, I know I may have competitors later, but I also want to do it the best way that it will remain the best for ever. No one has been able to challenge "Google" so mine will be.

Comments and questions are welcome, I know websites like angelstartup will want me to contact them, I am not looking for capital for now, neither am I looking for partnership or investors, all I need is how to go about it. Don't ask me what is the exact idea,, I have given the similitude of what I want to do.

I know Seun might have good comments, wouldn't be a bad idea to speak to him on phone if I have his direct contact.

At the end, I would want the best website designers to do it for me as well as the phone apps, could be in or out of Nigeria.

let us comment here so others will learn from it.

Politics / Re: Ministerial List: Amaechi, Fayemi, Fashola Fail Security Screening-NigerianPilot by PresidKing(m): 7:40pm On Sep 14, 2015
I would commented as same, thanks

Bevista:
If their source is really credible, can they tell us about others on the list, probably the ones that passed the screening. It's so easy to speculate on these obvious names just the way they did with Ogbonaya Onu (SGF).

Quite frankly, the new administration rode unto power mainly on the mantra of anti-corruption. Under no circumstance should this be compromised irrespective of whose ox is gored.

It is almost a case of "HEAD you loose, TAIL you loose" with the likes of Amaechi & Co. Appoint them ministers, and wailers will wail that you are appointing corrupt people. If you don't appoint them, they will also wail "use and dump". Buhari should simply tow the path of honour and do what is best for Nigeria and not patronize anybody.

-----
Amaechi fought gallantly for the "Change" project, and one way or the other he shall be rewarded handsomely for his gallantry. In the meantime, he continues to enjoy "Carte Blanche" access to Aso Rock.
Agriculture / Re: Starting A Profitable Flour Business by PresidKing(m): 3:51am On Sep 14, 2015
Lesgupnigeria:
Nigeria is one of.the largest producers of plantain in Sub-saharan africa. Over 300,000 tonnes are produced per annum.
Government have realised that the future of Agribusiness in Nigeria lies in the processing of agrocommodities in terms of profit, wealth creation and employment generation.
Recently the Nigeria Export Promotion Council said that FG will soon ban the exportation of raw materials to other countries.
There is need to start processing the abundance raw materials available in Nigeria.
One of the agroproducts to start processing is plantain which is not only produce abundantly but also is readily available in big markets in the country.
To start a profitable plantain flour business,a lot of questions and research needed to be done before venturing into the business.
Questions to be asked
1.What innovation am i bringing into the industry?
2.How can i.differentiate my products from the competitors?
3.Who are my customers?
4.How do i reach them?
5.Where do i source the plantain from?
Starting a processing plant requires that you know what your competitor are doing and try to do.it better.
There is also need for differentiation of.your products from through branding and reaching your customers at a lowest possible means than your competittor.
Plantain plantations are concentrated in Ondo state,Anambra,Bayelsa,Cross-river state,Osun,Oyo Ogun state e.t.c
So therefore to.start plantain flour on a profitable note, there is need to put all of these unlimited factor into consideration.
Drop your comments, questions for clarification, more info or technical assistance for consulting, managing or setting-up of flour processing factory.

Agriculture / Re: Want To Start A Cassava Farm While In Schl.....need Professional Advice by PresidKing(m): 8:09am On Sep 13, 2015
I love this comment, FYI, when I hear of cassava farming, I develop hypertension, heartache, and even headache, I mean severe ones, and I mean it, I still give kudos to those who do this farming, and before you say jack, I grow up with cassava farming, it is one I will always hate except you are the processor with processing machines right from peeling to get it market ready.

like advised, be careful of cassava farming.

jethro2:
I will advise you do cassava on the following conditions
1. If you will be the processor. That is you are adding value to it in whatever form. Be it starch, gari etc
2. If the processing firm is directly beside your farm. I meant some few kilometer distance.
Reason
1. Cassava prices are dictated by the processors. They are all privately owned and fix unreasonable price to extort farmers. The farmers are always at their mercy. So you are forced to sell.
2. Transportation cost takes the whole bulk of what could have been your gain. Cassava is a perishable goods that have a short life span
Lastly, cassava is not as profitable as people tend to claim. Most are after the consultation fee and hide behind the fact that until after a year or more before you get to discover you have been scammed.
NOTE
Please dont quote me if you dont have figures, names, clients, companies results that can testify and will be verified on the forum to prove me wrong.
Thank you

At Op, Agriculture is a very good venture and a highly profitable one. But please cassava is not. Until we have a regulated price by government to stabilise the fluctuations in price, its a no no area.
