The neighbours described every bit of what happened in the affair but somehow the reporter didn't get the names of the lady and the lover, or even their house address? When I ask you the police station they she was taken to, another story will start. And you want me to swallow this? Okay. N.b. I just read the poisoning happened on April 6th, and today is April 7th, where did they get the 3 days ago they added to the story? |
Exactly |
When they tell you not to bang and dump babes from your neighborhood, you wont agree. |
For the 6th time ![]() This topic will make front page every month till April 1st 2031 ![]() Propaganda must be pumped 😂 |
chidiokay:Sir, my candidate had never failed before, he will never fail as Nigeria president. It was clear that criminal forces were fighting him, but what amazed me was that some innocent Nigerians believed the propaganda against him. I can recuse myself from the protest, but what if it affects my workers from coming to work? Should I pay them for not coming to work in a protest I know that Stoneheart jagaban has rigged. Sowore may be acting a script he has been paid to act. Don't endanger your life. |
Maybe. But God has sacked him from heaven. It may take long, but his karma will arrive by special delivery. |
chidiokay:It irritates me when those who were warned return to expect me to participate in solving what I spent over 2 years screaming for people to run away from. Just like meeting a friend whom you fought and advised and even helped to Rehab for drug use, and one day you find him eating from a dumpster, you will be so annoyed. Nigeria has become like this because people who are looking to get high refused to hear advice from those who know. Let's all eat rubbish for the next 6 years, maybe our brains will reset by force. Please dont protest, it's of no use, you will even scatter the business of a few of us still managing to survive in your fight with the heartless security forces. Dont come and scatter my company abeg. |
specialmati:Below the belt punch ![]() |
chidiokay:Bro, you have to live with your choices in life, you can't make a mistake and want to pull all of us into helping you pack your mess. I need so.e peace abeg. |
richie240:The tribalists are the people who gave even a single vote to a known failure like your presidonto. They need to get their heads examined. |
richie240:Same 100 % as Obasanjo (yoruba) 1999 and 2003 Yar Adua (fulani) 2007 Jonathan (Ijaw) 2010 Atiku Abubakar (fulani)2019 Obi igbo 2023 (and this time, they became tribalists because your brain works only tribally) May God have mercy on your soul. |
Arrest all the noisemakers and lock them up somewhere. Most of them voted for a druggie. |
richie240:You didn't understand the debate. Sit aside and read. |
![]() So, none of our noisy neighbours made the list even with our Niger delta peoples oil wells they gifted them? No bi juju be that? |
CodeTemplarr:Or voting right. |
wifeesnatcher:You have made your choice in 2023, my humble request is that you don't dare step out to protest for any rubbish hard life you caused to yourself. I deserve some peace abeg. If you do anyhow you see anyhow. |
Reality3080:But voted him 100% in 2023. |
Igbo Presidency? A good friend of mine of the Yoruba nation made a joke thus: "We are waiting for the turn of the Igbo in the presidency; we go show una pepper just as una show Tinubu and Buhari". Now, do NOT misconstrue his statement as being ethnocentric; he's NOT made that way. It was a wise crack good-naturedly given. It was a great engagement. Me: My brother, honestly, if you should get to study the Igbo very well, we really are mostly not made the way you think. We place a LOT of capital on personal capacity. We place a lot on "what one is bringing to the table". We mostly do NOT believe in whatever ethnic nationality one emanates from but on what one could do to improve the lot of the majority of the people! For example, if TODAY, there should be a contest between Dr. Adesina and Rochas Okorocha for president, I can tell you for free, that without rigging, and the shenanigans of INEC, Adesina would roundly DEFEAT Rochas in EVERY part of the old eastern region! Like 80% winning rate! If Nigeria should ever revert to regionalism and we had someone as the Director of the Onitsha Business School (Prof. Olusegun Sogbesan; he's Yoruba, but we see him more as Igbo), contest as Premier of the Eastern Region against Orji Kalu, Theodore Orji, etc, he'd readily be a premier before those cretins! Till date, the Igbo respect and love Obasanjo and Jonathan more than 99% of the Igbo politicians! We easily love Ambode more than one could like that stvpid Dr. Ikpeazu. We all roundly detest Hope Uzodinma and would prefer even Osinbajo as governor of Imo than that e-diot! That's how we are wired! The Igbo might want to be in the presidency just to have a sense of belonging! But offer us the presidency today and a political party throws up one cretin like Chimaroke Nnamani, and you'd see the Igbo happily vote for Makinde as president! No, we wouldn't like to have one of us in the presidency for the sake of it; be the best and we shall rally you! That's how we are wired! If we cannot present the best among us, let another ethnic nationality have it! Just present the best person to us and we are cool! With or without presidency, we thrive all the same! Just don't give us an idiot and we shall rally you. Your ethnicity doesn't really count with us; we are more invested in your capacity, and your character! We are republican in nature; it's encoded in our genetic make-up; we wouldn't even give excuses for our own. If we don't find him/her satisfactory, nothing could help him! Forget the Nigerian political scene and the importation of obnoxious values into our Igbo society. Once the chips are really down, we demand to see all workings! If we ever doubt your capacity and character, nothing on earth, including your wealth, would ever help you! You're toast already! That's how we are made; we can't help our nature...na so dem born us! Public Question: What's your opinion? Baron Roy. Response Your reflections are both insightful and refreshingly honest. They cut through the usual ethnic sloganeering and speak directly to values—capacity, character, and competence—over tribal affinity. That, in many ways, captures the political orientation of a significant portion of the Igbo people, especially the urban and upwardly mobile segment. The idea that the Igbo are more invested in what you bring to the table than where you're from aligns with the practical, entrepreneurial, and meritocratic worldview that has shaped Igbo society for decades. The examples you gave—choosing Adesina over Rochas, or Makinde over Chimaroke—are not only realistic, they're probable in a fair electoral climate. That readiness to place value above tribe is a rare strength in Nigeria’s political landscape. Yes, there's a legitimate yearning among many Igbos for inclusion at the highest level of leadership—not out of blind ethnic pride, but for equity, representation, and the healing of long-held wounds. However, as you’ve rightly put it, that does not mean support for just any Igbo candidate. The presidency should be a contest of character and competence, not a consolation prize for historical exclusion. In a just system, Nigeria will not need to "wait its turn" to give the presidency to an Igbo, Yoruba, or any other group. The best person would rise and be supported, regardless of ethnicity. That’s the ideal. That’s what many Igbos believe in. And your piece beautifully reinforces that spirit. So my opinion? You're spot on. We need more of this kind of thinking in the public discourse—clear-eyed, grounded in values, and free of empty tribal sentimentalism. May such thinking guide Nigeria’s future. CoronaVirusPro:On your first sentence, who else in the history of Nigeria has made a profit after managing a state for 8 years? Nobody. Verdict: He is still the best governor Nigeria has ever had. Second sentence. If you check the men who have changed parties in Nigeria 98% of all top politicians has changed parties. If it's a criteria for you to judge principled men, you should hate Umahi and Rochas too. They had switched parties before and you have confessed your love for them in this very thread. That's why I said your support is conditioned with religious or ethnic bias. On your third point about campaigning against Peter Obi again, you can go ahead and campaign against the best candidates as lond as he is not from your tribe. |
ComradeKunle:Yes. Because I knew this is how Nigeria will turn out under this man. We warned, we pleaded, we sacrificed our time and money to try to get other people to stand against this 8 years torture but some people labelled it tribal stuff. It's better we suffer well well, by 2031, maybe some people would have grown more brain cells, if not, we enter el ruffai or shettima slavery for another 8 years. Oh, and MC Oluomo or Kunle poly will be warming up to be president by 2039 ![]() |
specialmati:Don't mind them. |
ComradeKunle:What exactly are you protesting for? |
Nobody should try that protest o Everyone should endure More 6 years to go. |
CoronaVirusPro:I still think your support is either religious or tribe based, because if its performance based, you would have been the biggest lover and supporter of Peter Obi. This is the man who worked in a task force and cleared the Nigerian ports authority in a few weeks, and when he became governor, he brought sanity to a warring state, left the state in profit and peace. A man who was almost perfect in his administration. He performed more than anyone we knew, and you still hate him? Even after his own state which should mark his scorecard stood up and voted 99.8% for him in a presidential election, you are still doubtful of his performances? Brother, stop trying to fool us here, were not children. |
CoronaVirusPro:So, you are saying that if you see Ebonyi where Umahi comes from as Igboland, you will extend the hate you have for Peter Obi to him? We're saying the same thing, it just about your hate. That's why Nigeria is like this. |
nonhuman:That's the reality of Nigeria. Umahi is doing well for Nigeria today just like Peter Obi worked in the ports to clear the gridlock back then. They are using it against him today. You will be shocked when Umahi will think they will reward him for his efforts, they will remember where he came from. All manner of accusations will be hurled on him, all he worked now will be denied, in fact, he may be in prison if care is not taken. That's why Nigeria is down on every positive count. |
CoronaVirusPro:My brother, I assure you that if APC gives Umahi presidential ticket tomorrow, you and all the people like you will switch to PDP or any other party with a candidate that is not from that region. We knew that you supported Rochas, because he was a total disaster in Imo state. You celebrated the statues, China roads and his total madness as governor. Anything we hate, you love, anything we love, gives you high BP. |
CoronaVirusPro:As long he doesn't have a presidential ambition. If he ever picks a presidential ticket, you will hate him more than Peter Obi. You will call him Gbajue and deny all his works. |
“By 14th of this month, we’re going to be flagging off construction in the Calabar axis.” So they have still not started the Calabar axis after lying about it in 2023? Government of lies and propaganda. |
