Two black American lesbian pastors, Twanna Gause and Vanessa Brown, tied the knot on August 24th at the New Vision Full Gospel Baptist Church in East Orange, New Jersey.

Gause’s father, Mr. Gause, citing “differences in theological beliefs,” refused his daughter’s invitation.

“MY FATHER WOULD NOT COME HERE BECAUSE HE DOES NOT BELIEVE IN SAME-SEX MARRIAGE,” MS. GAUSE SAID. “HE TOLD ME THE DEVIL TRICKED ME INTO THIS, AND THAT IF WE HAD BEEN MARRIED IN BIBLICAL TIMES, WE WOULD HAVE BEEN STONED TO DEATH.”

Ms. Brown, 46, and Ms. Gause, 45, are both pastors of Rivers of Living Water United Church of Christ.

More than 45 years after a first feature film based on the famous autobiographical novel by Romain Gary (directed by Jules Dassin), the Promise of Dawn returns to the cinema adaptation. A version 2.0 led by Éric Barbier, with a certain Pierre Niney in the lead role.

Narrating the relation between the author and his mother or at least the impact of the latter on the life of the writer follows Romain Gary of Poland where he grew up in the Second World War where he was aviator, passing through Paris and Nice.

We will find alongside the French actor a rather enticing cast, including Charlotte Gainsbourg in the role of Gary’s mother, Mina Owczynska, but also Jean-Pierre Darroussin or Didier Bourdon.

The Promise of Dawn will be released in cinemas on December 20th.

Grandiose, epic and full of love, Game of Thrones’ season 8 marked the spirits. The plot narrowed around the main characters, responding to questions that lingered since the first season. But we look forward to some clarification on the next 12 points. Warning, spoilers.

# 1. Is Cersei really pregnant?


Cersei is the undisputed winner of this seventh season, holding the kingdom with mastery. More formidable than ever, it holds all the powers and shows to all the extent of its strategic talents. Thinking only of herself and her family, Cersei has only one goal: to crush his enemies. In the middle of these conflicts, it was a “happy” event that was announced by the queen who sits on the coveted Throne of Iron, namely that she is pregnant with Jaime.

Despite the prophecy of Maggy the Frog, who announced the death of her three children, the queen would be pregnant again. In this season, Cersei is afraid of no one’s gaze and seems ready to publicly announce his incestuous love and the fruit of this union. However, Cersei being the queen of false pretenses, it would not be impossible for her to lie on this subject to retain her dominion over Jaime. They can stay together, even marry (a common tradition among the Targaryen) and then confront the White Walkers and Cersei together.

But they can also be completely disgusted by the news, stop their incestuous relationship and still fight their enemies to put Daenerys on the throne, given that Jon does not seem to care. # 3. Are Tormund and Beric alive?

This is the most burning issue of this post-season. But there is still a chance that they have escaped the attack of the King of the Night and his mount.


On the above plan from the episode “The Dragon and the Wolf”, there is a small group of characters who avoid the collapse of the Wall by rushing to the west. Thus, Tormund and Beric could quite possibly be part of these running survivors for their lives. Kristofer Hivju played him a wooden tongue with the Hollywood Reporter , claiming that he was unaware of the fate of the savage and his companion, but that it was better to be as pessimistic as possible.

This is exactly the same kind of reactions Kit Harington had in interviews prior to Season 6 and the resurrection of Jon Snow. Guys, we got (almost) done once, it will not work a second. In short, the two friends should most likely find refuge in Chateaunoir before returning to the home of the Stark for the Great War to come.

# 4. Will we finally attend the “CleganeBowl”?

There is the aerial combat between the dragons, the great battle to come against the White Walkers, but the real ones know that a battle of titans awaited since the first season is desired: the “Cleganebowl”. The clash between Gregor and Sandor is a bit of a fight between McGregor and Mayweather of Westeros. All the fans bet on it, raising the stakes and the hype around this settlement of accounts, which was well teased during the face-to-face between the two characters on the occasion of the meeting at the summit of the final season .

Since the Mountain burned half of his face during their childhood, the Limier claimed revenge. For all the atrocities committed (Gregor notably slashed into pieces Aegon IV Targaryen, whereas he was only a baby), the Mountain must pay and the evolution of Sandor goes in this direction. He is no longer a stupid puppet manipulated by the Lannister, but now defends a certain form of justice and kindness, as evidenced by his affection for Arya.

Everyone still has in mind the barbaric death of Oberyn Martell or the epic duel between the Limier and Brienne. Even the two actors are hot for the arrival of “Cleganebowl” in Game of Thrones . Our prognosis? Sandor will overcome his fire phobia, burn his living brother and reconcile himself with chivalrous values.

# 5. Will the Valonqar theory be confirmed?

This theory, very tenacious and very probable, could be confirmed in the final season of Game of Thrones . When we know that the first prophecy of Maggy the Frog was realized, namely the death of the three children of Cersei and the arrival of a new queen, more beautiful and younger (Daenerys and not Margaery), the second prophecy has a great chance of being realized: ” And when you have drowned in your tears, the little brother will lay his hands around your pale throat, and he will strangle you.” The little brother, or Valonqar in the upper Valyrians, could very well be Tyrion who would finally take revenge on Cersei. But it could just as well be Jaime, certainly twin but born just after the queen.


The Shakespearean relationship between Jaime and Cersei turns into a drama when, in spite of his sister’s “pregnancy”, the regicide decides to join the North to fight alongside Jon and Dany. The cut is clear between the Lannister lovers, Jaime no longer recognizing his sister who fails to have him killed by the Mountain. Now enemies, Cersei and Jaime could then find themselves in a final confrontation. If we take “Hands of Gold”, the song sung by Ed Sheeran, who interpreted a soldier Lannister in the premiere season , this one could announce the destiny of Jaime.

In the books of George RR Martin, she refers to Tyrion who strangles his mistress and prostitute, Shae, whose neck is adorned with a gold necklace. If one refers to the words, ” For hands of gold are always cold” , it could very well concern Jaime, he who now has a golden hand. The final season of Game of Thrones will perhaps offer us a memorable scene in which Jaime would end the days of Cersei by strangling him, which would accentuate the Greek tragedy side of their relationship.

# 6. Can Jon and Daenerys have a child?

The Mother of the Dragons is sure of it, she will never be able to have children again, which is why she considers Drogon, Rhaegal and the late Viserion as her sons. While she was married to Khal Drogo, Daenerys became pregnant and planned to call her child Rhaego. But when Drogo returns wounded from his looting, Dany asks Mirri Maz Duur, a maegi, to save him. The latter, to avenge the massacre of his people, gives only a semblance of life to Drogo and kills Rhaego, announcing to Dany that she would not have descendants.

Daenerys makes it clear to Jon Snow several times, and tells him what she has experienced with the maegi.
