If it's not a local dialect and it's not an official language: english or french, scrap it! It's not of essence. Who doesn't know that N100 is hundred naira? Next, someone would want jewish and latin inscrptions on the naira note. The ijaws, itsekiris, efiks and other over 200 tribes in this country have more rights to have their language on the naira note than arabic. |
asudan:mchseew! God have suffer for this life. Both the one wey im talk and the one wey im no talk, dem go dash am, say im talk am |
JEITO:actually, you can't judge by their dressing. Virginity doesn't always equal naivity |
Why is it that the roman catholic went and added more books to the inspired books in the bible? Did they have the right to do so? Are those additional book accepted by the early church? Are they inspired of God? Are the teachings contained in those books in line with what is found in the 66 books of the bible? Those are some questions that are begging for answers. What do you have to say about i think, The compilation of books you call the Bible was arranged by the catholic church. There are many many books that didn't make it into the first compilation and some didn't even make it to the second compilation. They didn't add to the word of God. Though i don't think that the jews ever used the deutrocanonical books. We're not judaists anyway, are we? Infact, i personally think they were wrong to leave out some books like the teachings of the apostles and that of mary madgalene, philip and so on |
Acidosis:na wa for you o. Is your Bible written in greek? |
Ajibam:don't need a pastor to teach you the truth. Go do your research |
1. We are not under the law. 2. Trousers were not originally made for men. Once upon a time, guys who wore trousers were termed 'effeminate' and weren't allowed in churches. Check your history... 3. If trousers are sinful because men wore them at some point in history, then the same can be said of high heels and wigs... Let's focus on important things abegi |
JiggamanGh:their strikers can't score but they scored three goals in their last match... I would love to see what it will look like when they start scoring. Can't wait |
hollandis:oh, you used to be nigerian? Duh! Who knew? We didn't notice and you wont be missed. Cursed bum! |

sexzskil:technically, they are nigerians because being born to nigerian parents makes them nigerian citizens. By the way, who says they were born in nigeria? |
people should stop with the stereotyping already. I like ankle chains; i wear them occasionally. I'm not a lesbians, neither am i indecent... Not that i care much what people think anyway... Folks should quit being myopic |
i wear my natural haire buh darn, it's hard; especially with my classmates harping on me to go, relax it already... |
Nigerian doctors are egomaniacs... If the strike was to equip the hospitals, i for understand... So the hospitals are headed by other health workers, so bl**ping what? The key word being 'health workers'. They were trained too. Y'all should quit feeling superior. Mtcheew. On ebola matter sha, i understand una: prevention is better than story... |
penny01502: am sad cos my favorite african team is gone, as for the super eagle I don't have passion for themeyaah, chai |
don't drink water because of marine spirit... don't eat food cuz demons might have infested the soil... don't use furniture. you never know where the wood came from... don't talk to your neighbour. he could be possessed... don't, don't, don't... i wonder why Christ forgot to give these instructions before he left. what was he thinking? |
i voted for Mikel but Yaya is a better player. Mikel has so much unmaximised potential which may never be maximised. he is just too scared of making mistakes that he doesn't take chances. Mikel may get better but as of now, Yaya is better |
I want you all to prove me wrong. What you said up there is what i want to prove. Do you still obey the Ten commandment,if yes it is the law,you under a curse. Do you eat cockroach, pig ,lizard,if no it is a law for us not to eat it you are under a curse. Do you still Love your Neighbour and Love God. If yes it is in the law :.. Deutoronomy 6:6 You are under a curse. But the law of God is unchangeable... The law paul was against was the law of circumcision.... If you do not kill Steal, you are under a curse... If you obey the ten commandmenr and cannot obey this one you just like James said you have disobeyed all
i don't follow the law. the Bible says a new commandment i give to you... the commandment of love. if i ve got that love, i won't steal etc. the new testament has enough rules for a living as a christian. i don't need to help Judaists keep the torah and laws of Moses. |
"Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us... Wherefore the law WAS our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster( law)" - Galatians 3 vs 10-24 |
O foolish galatians who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth?... He that ministereth to you the spirit and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law or by the hearing of faith... For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse... But that no man is justifed by the law in the sight of God, it is evident for the just shall live by faith... - galatians 3 vs 1... |
...if thou being a jew livest after the manner of the gentiles and not as do the jews, why compellest thou the gentiles to live as jews?... for by the works of the law shall no man be justified... For i through the law am DEAD TO THE LAW, that I might live unto God...' galatians 1vs14 to 20 |
One thing we must know is dat Jesus Christ is d same yesterday. today and. forever. "We are no t under d law but grace " means that sin no longer has dominion over us. God will not compromise his standard because u don't believe, he's not a respecter of persons. Someone commented earlier dat does it mean dat all d women in d world who wear trousers will go to he'll? D answer is a capital Yes! I'm not judging please, I'm speaking in accordance with the Scriptures. Unless they repent of thidea things including d is. of attachments and other artificial things, they won't make d kingdom of God. We might argue that where is it stated dat trousers is foe men. No matter how we argue, we all know deep down in our hearts dat even before we were born, trousers were specifically for men. We know! Let's not shy away from d truth... Those who argue dat it's not bad still have doubts (even if they'll not admit it) as to whether they're on d right path. Y deceive ourselves for this long. Some of them are shy to openly come out and accept this fact probably because they will be laughed at. My point exactly is dat God is a merciful His but He's also a consuming fire. It is a fearful thing, d Bible says, to fall into d hands of d living God. Y do we keep mocking God? We know d truth but we find it hard to accept and practice it, why? It was God who gave Moses those laws nd He's still d same His today. Y do we think those laws are no longer binding? Has God changed? NO! His standard Stanley sure! We claim those laws were meant for d IsraeliteIsraelites, why then do we claim d blessings of d old testament? We know d truth, let's admit it for goodness sake! I'm not imposing this on anyone, you're entitled to your own opinion. I'm just saying dis Cos I do not want your blood to be required of me.. Peace!
hope you follow all the laws cuz if you don't, you might just end up in hell with 'em trouser wearers |
spencerwilliams: why al dis excuses i simply said would u believ if i show u wer it is in, let me us d word our bible so dat u wil undastand wat am sayin i just nid answers yes or no from anybody dat wants 2 argue.show me, then |
I can boldly tell u dat u lack understanding of God. How can u say we can't do away with d law & we don't look 2 d law. Then wat do we do. Remember d will of Jesus is 2 plz d father.
it can't be done away with because the law was fulfilled in the person of Christ. we don't look to it because we don't have to try to fulfill the law anymore, since Christ has done it. The law has served its purpose |
@Ukuts gp: if i show u wer men wore trousas in d bible wil u believ it's nt 4 women, just answer yes or no b4 i show u,i mean from d bible itself.would u believ?
trousers aren't in the Bible, sir. historically speaking, the first set of humans to wear trouser-like garments were middle eastern women. what we know today as trouser came about a long time after the times of the Bible |
Divepen: I peterreally? jewelry is wrong cuz it was used to build gods? i wonder what God was thinking when he commanded the children of Isreal to use it in making his tabernacle. imagine such desecration! what was John thinking to say that he saw gold and different ornaments in heaven in revelations? and pray tell why God would use such defiling materials to decribe his blessings to Isreal in Ezekiel |
Candidstephen: @Goshen and others: all i can tell u is dat; u read d bible & not study because wen u study ur bible, d help of d Holy Spirit must be there. And without d Holy Spirit, U read ur Bible with low understanding capacity.and you need a revelation of the new covenant. You think the gentiles that Paul preached to had access to the law of Isreal? If the law was what they needed, Paul wouldn't have bothered trying to indoctrinate them via the epistles. Study your new testament, dude |
Paul stressed over and over again that the gentiles were not under the law. the Bible said that going back to live under the law is akin to making the death of Christ in vain. i can't live by those laws ( imagine not going to church cuz i am on my period or cuz i am a bastard or worrying whether my clothes are made of same fibre) if you want to use the law as a yardstick, then be sure to keep all of it cuz if you judge by it, you will be judged by it. remember, fail one, fail all |
the law of moses says thou shall not commit adultery thou shall nt commit fornication thou shall nt covet thy neighbours property. R all dis 4 u or nt cuz they r also d laws of moses. We r nt under d law does nt mean we shud nt uphold Gods moral standard. We r nt under d law means our judgement has been delayed givin us room 4 repentance, datz wat grace does. Compare nd contrast d diff between Achan nd d adulteurous woman ? It was grace. By d law she was supposed 2 die lyk Achan. Christ saved her bt did nt justify her sin bt told her 2 go nd sin no more. Shud we continue in sin dat grace may abound? God forbid. Grace givs u røom 4 repentance nd nt røom 2 dwell richly nd comfortably in sin. Thanks
how many of those laws do you keep or you just pick the ones you like and do away with the others? if the law could save, there wouldn't have been a new covenant. it is new and not an extension of the old. the law is cumbersome whereas Christ said his burden is light |
really? in this err vision where he said we can't wear jeans, did he tell you what was sinful about the jeans? and since i can't use thread, can i lock my hair, abi that one go gimme special room for hell? |
