Lekiboboe: Hello PrettyShim,
In my own opinion, Its not advisable for you to start all over in Canada i.e going for another B.SC
Reasons are - You don't have a Science Background in your high school most especially in your SSCE/WAEC School Certificate
- Your age might likely not be favorable for another Bachelor's degree program , Age range to apply for a Bachelor's Program in Canada is around age 17-21
- You going for another Bachelor's program don't show any Career Progression and a Visa Officer would conclude you just want to elope to Canada through the study route which makes your purpose of study VAGUE
- You also going for another Bachelor's Program will be questionable and raise a serious red flag cos the Visa Officer will look at it that instead of you to go for a Master's or PG.Cert/PGD ,u decide to go for another Bachelor's program, purpose of study will be considered VAGUE aswell
1) Your Best Shot is to go for a Masters related to what you are studying in your university
And to get admission for a Masters in CANADA ,you need to to have a minimum of 2nd Class Upper (2.1) & also some other requirements you will need to satisfy when applying for a masters in Canada
So if you still have the opportunity to get a 2.1 before you graduate, put in your best to achieve it, but if you know you would likely fall to 2nd Class Lower (2.2), then get set for a PG. cert /PGD Program in CANADA
So you can do a research on the following Masters Programs & respective skools in Canada (since it relates to what you are studying presently)
- Master of Industrial Relations (MIR) Queen's University, Ontario
- Master of Industrial Relations and Human Resources (M.I.R.H.R.) University of Toronto, Ontario
- Combined Master of Industrial Relations/JD Queen's University, Ontario
- Professional Masters in Industrial Relations (PMIR) Queen's University, Ontario
- Master of Employment Relations Memorial University of Newfoundland, Newfoundland and Labrador
- Master of Science (Management) in Human Resource Management and Labour Relations University of Lethbridge, Alberta
