Politics › 10 Hillarious Advantage Of Fuel Scarcity by priiince(op): 12:33pm On May 28, 2015 |
1) My Street is noiseless because ‘I pass my neighbour’ generators are on sabbatical leave.
2) Wives are happy because husbands who like hanging out are now staying at home with the family because drinks outside are not cold and no fuel to drive out.
3) All the housewives are cooking good food because no more Telemundo/Zee world. Chai!
4) Kids are reading their books since watching TV needs fuel.
5) No more congestion in network since many people’s phones are off.
6) Browsing & downloading is fast…no one wants browsing to kill his or her battery.
7) Everyone sleeps very early now.
9) There are MORE PRAYERS & less distractions.
10) You even know it’s true…that’s why you were reading this fast so you can log out before you go and look for fuel that you didn’t notice that there is no number 8. Now you found out, you are laughing.... cc: lalasticlala |

Politics › How British, Nigerian Armies Intend To Tackle Insurgency by priiince(op): 4:37pm On May 27, 2015 |
With the motive to develop the Nigeria armed forces and make its fight against terrorism efficient, Nigerian and British Armies yesterday agreed to a 20-year training pact.
The 20-year development plan took place at a two-day seminar held in Abuja.
Major-General Letam Wiwa, the Director of Military intelligence was appointed the chairman of the committee handling the development strategy.
Wiwa explains that the seminar was conceived during series of meetings held by the committee over the development plan for the Nigerian Army.
According to him, the essence is to enhance the state of combat readiness and general national development in line with the development agenda of the federal government.
British Army has antecedents for training the Nigerian Army with the pioneering soldiers attending UK academies like Sandhurst and Mons.
In recent times, Nigeria has been battling with Boko Haram insurgency.
Lack of ammunition, poor wages and allowances, among other set back have adversely affected the morale of Nigerian soldiers.
As a result, many of the soldiers regularly desert battle front, in some cases engage in mutiny while others flee to other neighboring countries for safety.
Efforts by the Nigeria Army to cage the menace have over the years proved abortive until recently when neighboring countries team up to fight the insurgents.
Few days ago, Mahammadu Buhari, Presient-elect made an unannounced trip to London. The trip caused disquiet in his party as Buhari chose to travel with two of his aides.
While this could be a clear indication he would want to run his government independently, there are suspicion Buhari might have embarked on the trip for some undisclosed official moves.
Could the 20-year pact between the Nigerian and British armies be the outcome of Buhari’s trip to London? What do you think? http://www.naij.com/447455-how-bristich-nigerian-army-intend-to-tackle-insurgency.htmlcc: lalasticlala
