For those who don’t know, there are sleeping cabins for pilots to take naps in during flights.

That's not entirely correct.

Yes, pilots, first officers, and even other crew members have a special space in the cabin to rest mid flight. But pilots are allowed to take a nap during a long haul flight if there are reserved pilots in the cockpit to take over.

So, pilots can only sleep if it's a long haul flight and another pilot is on standby to take over.
