A 24-year-old trader, Mustapha Umar, who allegedly sodomised a nine-year-old bor, on Thursday appeared in a Life Camp Magistrates’ Court, Abuja.

The police charged Umar, who resides in Kado, Abuja, with one count of unnatural offence.

The Police Prosecutor, ASP Peter Ejike, told the court that the complainant, Mohammed Nura, who resides in Angwan Berbe, Life Camp Abuja, reported the case at the Life Camp Police station on Jan.19.

Ejike alleged that on Jan.18, Nura reported that the defendant sodomised his nine-year-old son.

The defendant, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.

He said the offence contravened the provisions of Section 215 of the Penal Code.

Magistrate Chinyere Nwecheonwu admitted the defendant to bail in the sum of N300, 000 with one surety in like sum.

WhatsApp recently bade farewell to Windows Phone.

The giant chatting app is now ready to do the same with some Android and iOS devices. This is not surprising as there have been talks about it for quite a while.

The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Lagos Command, on Monday, paraded eight men, allegedly involved in selling the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) forms above its official price of N4,700 per copy.

The Lagos State Commandant, Mr. Cyprian Otoibhi, who paraded the suspects in Lagos, said that they were arrested during a joint operation with officials of JAMB.

According to Otoibhi, the suspects were selling each JAMB form for between N6,500 and N8,000.

Doyin Okupe, a former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan has started a campaign on social media calling for the change of name for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

An angry 22-year old son, Joshua Adetutu, has been arrested in Lagos for assaulting and attempting to use a knife to chop off his mom’s private part over suspicion of adultery.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Odobanjo Street, off Governor’s Road, Ikotun area of Lagos, where his mother, Mrs. Jennet, resides with her own mother.

A 60-year old woman, Mrs. Nkechi Nwafor, has landed in trouble after she sold his younger brother’s house including vehicles worth N18m while the brother was in prison abroad with hope that the brother will not return back to Nigeria.
