Fulham are a very good footballing side who are comfortable in possession.

I’d expect Alonso to avoid an aggressive high press and instead set his team up in a compact mid-block, shutting down central areas and forcing Fulham to play wide.

He should also look to create pressing traps in midfield, with Caicedo and Lavia leading the ball recoveries before quickly transitioning into counterattacks. Most importantly, Chelsea need to manage the game with greater control and maturity rather than allowing it to become too open and chaotic.
