My central point is all these policies, MOUs, developments at the federal and state levels have not led to betterment of lives, improvement in the living standard or changed the realities of Nigerians.

My institution car parks used to be filled with cars before but these days, those car parks are scanty.

Most staff commute to the office via public transportion. Those still putting their cars on the road use them for hailing co-staff to work and charge them for it.

Offices are being run on duty rosters just to minimize the number of days staff commute to work, and of course reduce transportation expenses.

Many lecturers don't even bother with physical classes anymore. They send their lecture notes to the students whatsapp class groups, and that's it.

Lecturers deliberately set ambiguous & difficult exam questions so students no go fit pass, and they have no choice but to.............

Once in a while, management will release memo on certain lapses or inactions observed but no body send again, and even SERVICOM don "sojinu".

If you fit reach am, tell him to stop proliferating universities in every nook and crany of the country, as FG has not fulfilled its obligations to the existing ones.

Earlier this month when I travelled to PH, I wanted to buy that Dele Farotimi book at the PH airport because my flight back to Lagos was delayed and I figured I needed something to keep me occupied while waiting for about 4 to 5 hours .

I asked the book seller at the airport if he has the book and he said yes. I asked him to give me and he said he doesn’t have it anymore . I was confused and told him that but u just said u have it just now na . He said he’s forgotten that it has finished .

So I decided to go for another book and paid him. While I was about living he just had a change of mind then brought out the Dele Farotimi book from where he kept it. He now told me that because of the whole court case wahala , they don’t display the book and they are careful to observe who they sell it to; lest I’m a security agent like DSS or CID .

I just laughed , paid him for the book after he advised I keep it in my hand luggage and not bring it out in public while I’m still in the airport .

The whole incident left me speechless sha , but then I understand that some people do really have powers in this country o. I mean the book seller is in perpetual fear that he might get into trouble selling the book because of the damning accusations the author made in the book . 🤦‍♂️
