You say “immigration is a privilege” yet you’re in a foreign land enjoying rights you won’t give fellow Nigerians at home. You celebrate Nigerians being elected abroad, but foam at the mouth when another Nigerian runs in Lagos. Hypocrisy is doing jumping jacks in your argument.
Let’s be clear: what’s painful is not Lagos, it’s the double standard. The fact that you want openness, inclusion, and fair opportunity when you’re the minority in America, but when the tables turn in Nigeria, you become a bouncer at the gate of “indigeneship.”

You’re not defending tradition. You’re defending tribal paranoia. And the only thing worse than a tribalist is a tribalist trying to disguise his insecurity as patriotism.
So stop pointing at other states like a guilty man trying to distract from his mess. Clean your house first before you start shouting about someone else's compound.
