Amongst the farmers, agri producers and agripreneurs on N/Land has anyone come across Black Soldier Fly Larvae (BSFL) as an effective animal feed:

It is increasing in interest and demand in the US and EU with US already starting commercial production.
The larvae are nutritious for poultry and other animals and can be bred on manure and food waste, producing beneficial soil additives that are lucrative in their own right.

Is anyone using this or considering in Ng? Also anyone breeding insects for feed please get in touch.

Pardon me, I'm just seeing this.

If you have a heap of dung under tree or any form of shade, use a stick to poke through it after at least one week that the dung has been there. I'm convinced you will see BSF Larva there, unless during extreme harmattan like they have in the north.
I'm inclined to believe that they're everywhere in Nigeria in the country sides.

So do check around your Poultry where the dung is disposed and let me know.

Every farm in the bush in lagos has it in their dung hill, unless they're treating the dung with chemicals that harm the creatures.

Am current Batch A corp member serving in Edo now. My piece of advise to those coming to Okada Camp for Their Camping.
1. Come along with your rubber Canvas cos the land is mouldy.
2. Get a Mosquito net why coming unless you are ready to cough out 500 naira for it.
3. Initial your buckets against misplacement.
4. Get food flask why coming unless you have money to pay big amount for it.
5. Photocopy all your documents into two places.
6. Get along with you a reasonable amount if money because their is no ATM MATCHINE inside the camp and probability of giving you permission to go out to withdraw might not be granted.
7. Be ready to experience full jungle life cos the camp is one of the list structured camps in the federation.
8. Be ready to patronize Mani Market unless hunger will be your surname. Their food is no so good.
9. While in camp be of good behavior and make more friends than enemies and your stay will be memorable.
10. Edo state does not pay any stipend nor your PPA except those posted to Private schools and companies who pay 2k to 5k highest except you are a Medical student or Pharmacist.

I wish you a happy stay at Edo and with your money you will enjoy Edo camp very well as some of us enjoyed ours. For any confusion or enquires beep me on Whatsapp on 08030999573.
