Rising Nigerian singer Boypee has refuted claims that he and his collaborators, Brown Joel and Hyce, removed the video of the remix of their hit song ‘Ogechi’ featuring Davido due to the DMW boss's alleged greed.

The controversy arose after the official video of ‘Ogechi Remix,’ which was the wedding song of afrobeats superstar Davido and his wife, Chioma, was taken down from YouTube. The video had been uploaded on Davido’s record label, DMW’s YouTube page. According to reports from DailyPost, the video was removed over copyright issues.

Following the takedown, an X (formerly Twitter) user with the handle @Johnnyescoba posted a report, allegedly quoting Boypee as saying the video was removed because Davido wanted to take all the royalties from the views. The post read, “‘We had to take down the Ogechi Remix video cuz Davido wanted to take all the royalties.’ - Boypee in a recent interview.”

Boypee quickly responded to the claim by quoting the post, strongly denying the allegations. He wrote, “You and who talk that one? To what profit eh guy? Wetin you wan use my downfall do?”

The singer’s statement has cleared the air on the matter, emphasizing that there is no conflict between him and Davido regarding the takedown of the video.

German political Martin Neumaier has been filmed engaging in a bizarre self-filmed act where he licks a urinal, smears feces on himself, and reenacts Nazi salutes - all while covered in his own waste.
