Maize247:Bloody hypocrite! Don’t forget to tell Nigerians how over 50% senior staff in the same FUNAI are Yoruba. How the first VC who was Yoruba did backyard and shody appointment for his brothers. Would you take this if it was done in Ogun? |
Not a fan of Odumeje, but be sure never to bear false allegations against even your enemies. This was a skit by some actors. The guy you saw is not Odumeje but a lookalike of Odumeje who is an actor in Owerri. |

Ebonyi walks for Peter Obi. First, the police shot tear gas to disperse the crowd but these guys were resolute. https://pmnewsnigeria.com/2022/09/17/just-in-police-disperse-teargas-supporters-of-peter-obi/

Mike4S:Haha.. Sam, a University lecturer and later a loyal commissioner was selected by the then military government. People were "compelled" to cue behind him. |
Mike4S:Are you saying Obinna ogba from nkalagu minority group won odoh from Ezza majority group in 2015? Please know that am not for any of these men. Just stating the reality. |
pesinfada:Who's comparing Umahi and Elechi here? As for odoh, read my earlier posts on this thread to see my opinion about him. His letter did not move me one bit because we know he's playing games. His signature and accent was used to steal without being settled. He just has to pay for his stupidity and greed. A so called professor and youth for that matter. |
SoNature:APC will not win because of Buhari, but because Paul okorie will likely contest on APC's platform. Ebonyians would rather have Buhari voted back than Umahi. Watch. |
Funnicator:Hahaha.. There's a big difference between being smart and cunning. The former is carried out respectfully and decently, while the later comes with arrogance, heartlessness and with a major intent to deceive. Even the dumbest and the most forgiving would get fed up quickly. He showed his hands too early. And what will you do if you were Buhari? Not make use of a useful *****? Are you a learner? Again, if you were Buhari, would you abandon/betray Onu and ebonyi apc because Umahi sings your praises? You think Buhari doesn't know his history of jumping ships? A high powered political mathematics is about being played on Umahi's head. You have 7 months. The time starts now! |
Funnicator:PDP was going to rig the election and so the greedy odoh quickly struck a deal with the Umahi on the eve of the election. A so called professor of geophysics could not stand his ground and go to court should inec announce wrong results. It even hurts more that he's a youth. Gutless and very greedy human being. He disappointed thousands of electorates. But he didn't know Umahi practices the whole 48 laws of power. Of which one is to crush your enemy totally. Hehe |
Funnicator:For sure, but not because of Buhari. In order to vote out Umahi, they must vote for apc, in other words; Buhari. One has to give way for the other. |
This stupid Odo won the senatorial seat for Ebonyi central under apga. But due to greed and a plate of porridge, he sabotaged the distinguished seat for a paltry post of SSG under a person you know very well as draconian. ...only to come now and be writing rubbish and panicking. Better get ready to defend all the funds you signed off even though we know you didn't get a dime from the sleazy deals. Better face the music you lilyliverd asslicker. |
I repeat again, before November this year; only Rachel Umahi will be standing by Umahi. This is prophetic. Below was a comment I made sometime last year. Umahi has never had any electoral value in Ebonyi state . All he uses is federal might. He courts whoever is in power regardless of the difference in values. A very over ambitious fellow. |
dokiOloye:No, Nwachukwu didn't fall from sky to be acting chairman. He became chairman when Nwaobasi was suspended by the disciplinary committee for anti party activities. What were the antiparty activities? It was clear that they sold Ebonyi presidential and gubernatorial slots to PDP Umahi during the last election with the belief that GEJ will win. Everybody in Ebonyi knows this. So after the election, he was suspended. But instead of being remorseful, he took the matter to court. We know Umahi is the one sponsoring the court process. The presidency is fully aware of all these and that was the reason only the Nwachukwu faction was allowed to have a closed door meeting with buhari when he came to Ebonyi. During the meeting, Chinedu Ogah and Nwaobasi busted into the meeting with the intention of disgrasing buhari but they were quickly allowed to join the meeting to avert that. During the meeting, buhari asked Ucha to explain why apc failed woefully in the last election but he couldn't say anything. It dawned on him that buhari knew all along what they did with election funds and the sabotage in the last election. Yesterday, Nwachukwu faction with a huge crowd welcomed Oyegun to the state for meeting. Ucha and his group were no where to be found. |
ChiefPiiko:Sen ogbuoji is not different from Umahi when it comes to electoral value. Apc is not picking him. Their plan is engr Paul Okorie aka aksion/Chief Edeze. Though on low level for now. Money is only used to garnish the process, it doesn't win elections in most part of Nigeria. Federal might wins elections, especially in Ebonyi. This is the reason Umahi is courting buhari at all cost. |
ChiefPiiko:Ebonyi is apc. Not because of buhari or anybody, but because Umahi took over the entire PDP party structure. So everyone has to leave it for him. His brother is the vice chairman PDP South East. Another of his brother is the deputy chairman PDP Ebonyi state. |
Umahi has never had any electoral value in Ebonyi state . All he uses is federal might. He courts whoever is in power regardless of the difference in values. A very over ambitious fellow. He knows that without Jonathan and Metu to rig election, he will lose 2019. So the best move is to court who is in position to do this: Buhari. Unfortunately for him, Buhari just like most Fulani does not betray people who are truly loyal to him from day one. He will milk all the opportunities and go ahead to keep their words to his core loyalists. In this case, apc and Ogbonnaya Onu. Umahi jumped off Elechi train, a man who singlehandedly made you PDP chairman Ebonyi state and deputy governor. He started courting Gej, wife and Metu. He jumped out of Jonathans train to Alimodu sheriff's even before the Supreme Court could make the final pronouncement. And as soon as they did, he jumped off from sheriff to Babachir Lawal and when he was sacked, he jumped on Abba Kyari. Few months before the 2019 election, Abba Kyari will be sacked, and Umahi will be left hanging. No where to jump to.hehehe. The way this man will lose in 2019 will be interesting to document. |
PrecisionFx:What's your point sir? Refute what I said and stop the insults. |
PrecisionFx:Lies sir. Over 60% of Ebonyi electorates were members of Labour party. They were formally in PDP but when Jonathan and his wife messed up the party structure and primaries in the build up for 2015 election, they decamped to Labour party alongside the incumbent governor elechi at that time. And when the gubernatorial election was rigged, they massively decamped to apc. Truth is that they rather have buhari than Umahi. True story. |
achi4u:He is of Nwaobasi faction. He's working with Ucha and for Umahi. |
When I read online about so many lies going on in Ebonyi state, I just laugh. First, the president didn't come to Ebonyi to resolve any party issue. He came simply to familiarize with Igbos irrespective of party affiliation. Exactly why there were no party flags and logo during his visit to enugu and Ebonyi. Apc party loyals didn't also show up as they knew it wasn't about party. There are factions in Ebonyi APC. The one led by Eze Nwachukwu is the one recognized by the presidency, Ogbonnaya Onu and the National chairman. While the one led by Nwaobasi is recognized by Tinubu and ACN faction of APC. This faction is also being sponsored by the governor Umahi to cause confusion in the party. APC did very bad in the last presidential election in Ebonyi even though people didn't know why. The faction loyal to Tinubu rigged the gubernatorial primaries in favor of Sen Ucha. On that note, Ucha was given the campaign money to cover APC Ebonyi but he cornered the whole money for his personal use and went ahead to covertly support GEJ and Umahi. He thought GEJ would win. It has also been clearly seen the hands of Umahi in all these mess. Umahi wants to decamp to apc but he wants to use his usual back door method through Nwaobasi faction as he cannot win election even in his ward. He is known for using federal might to rig elections and that is why he's seriously courting Buhari. He did it with ex-gov Elechi, Get, Makarfi PDP. Buhari on his part must not listen to Umahi and his fake laughs. He gets hold of you, cunningly agrees with you on ANYTHING, uses you and when he has no need for you, he publicly disgraces you. Buhari cannot be an exception. The loan he's soughting for is for 2019 election. The fg and Ebonyi people must not agree to that. Back to the party matter, Tinubu must ask questions about the people he's working with. They collect money during elections and disappear. And at the end of the day, people mistaken igbos as not too serious politicians, but the truth is that igbos as just looking for a man of truth to link them to the center. Ermm, Ogbonnaya Onu? Honest man but little or no charisma. Besides, he cannot do it alone as he seems to be the only fg appointee in the state. As they allow the court to settle the case, apc national chairman should have the courage to step in since Buhari has little or no interest in party politics. 2019 is around the corner. |

babytoun:I also don't agree with him on everything. How can anyone even do that? As for the "village people" issue, you need to listen deeper to understand that he's right as Satan has no right over true Christian. And when it seems he has, it's mostly likely on the authority of Christ just like Job. Where I disagree with him is how he slightly downplays the potency of prophesies except it's coming from Kenneth hagin and a few other people he trusts. He openly criticizes Tb Joshua as fake. But one day, the Holy Spirit revealed to me that Tb Joshua is truly called but the problem is that he's not enlightened and therefore uses crude methods in his ministry. The Holy Spirit revealed that Joshua's staying grace comes from his humility. All in all, pastor Bankie is truly one of the best teachers around. Moderation is key. Lalasticlala |
9jvirgin:Oga, if you are truly a Christian, then know that the British did you a favor. Otherwise, you wouldn't imagine what would be the fate of the rest Northern Christians in Kebbi, Borno, Karina, Adamawa, Plateau etc. Dem for don wipe them off and convert the rest to sex slaves. But of course, most southern Christians, especially Igbos are the worst kind of Christians the world has ever had. They only care about their comfort and their tribesmen. Others, especially northern Christians can find their square root. Religion aside, the so-called emir should face justice. |

Should I give my whole first month’s salary to my church as ‘first-fruit’? Usually when I am asked this question, my answer is straightforward. “It is your money and you can do anything you like with it.” I mean that simply! Now, if the question is “did the Lord command that Christians should surrender their whole January salary (income) to their church as first-fruits?” Then I give another unequivocal answer: No, He never did. There is no such thing in the whole Bible, not even under the Law of Moses. Yes, many churches ask their members to do it, but it is a decision of the elders of the church and is not the commandment of God or the Lord Jesus to Christians. God doesn’t have any special blessings attached to it, and so I hope the elders can pray a special blessing for the people who obey them. My personal advice to anyone asking is this: if you consider it burdensome and so would be grudgingly doing it, then please do not do it. Don’t worry, the Lord is not angry with you, He didn’t command it in the first place. Anything you give to Him from your heart, willingly and by faith, is good enough for Him. Having said that, let me quickly clarify the practice of first-fruits as it was in the Bible. First, bear in mind that every occurrence of the term in the New Testament relates to Christ Jesus and His saints. Both Jesus Christ and saints in churches were referred to as the first fruits offered to God. There was never a time it referred to money, income or material things. What the New Testament always teaches about money and material things is generosity and not trusting in those things. We are to be careful to trust in God alone. Every Christian must be generous continuously and make giving priority in their lives. In what the Lord gives to us, seed for sowing is before bread for eating (2 Cor 9:10). That tells us that we must give as a matter of priority. Also, there was no occurrence of first-fruits giving before the Law. There is no doubt that the giving of first-fruits as a commandment is only to be found under the Law. Even under the law, the offering of first-fruits was not burdensome. It was a token of gratitude for what the Lord had done. The law did not at any time specify the amount that was to be given in this matter but left it to each individual's discretion. The first fruits were brought in a basket to the sanctuary and presented to the priest, who was to set the basket down before the altar. It was not much; it could fit into a basket. It was definitely nothing sizeable compared with the rest of the harvest. Then, the person recited the story of Jacob's going to Egypt and the deliverance of his descendants from there. He then acknowledged the blessings with which God had visited him (Deut 26:2-11). See, it was a ceremony of thanksgiving. If we are to obey this as salary earners in these modern days, it is something that would be done from every salary, every time we are paid for a job, not just in January alone. Each time you harvest, you will take a small amount, as you like, and offer it. It will be the very first expenditure. But we all know that Christians are not obligated to keep the laws of Moses as a practice of their faith, so we do not have to do this all the time. But there are things to learn from the Law. What we learn from the Law is the spirit of that commandment. The spirit is that of acknowledging God. It is that of giving Him the praise and glory for all that He has done and is doing in our lives. It is the habit of gratitude that the Lord was teaching Israel. It was one of those ordinances He gave to them so that they would not forget Him. But that is the time to be careful! Beware that in your plenty you do not forget the Lord your God and disobey his commands, regulations, and decrees that I am giving you today. For when you have become full and prosperous… be careful! …Remember the Lord your God. He is the one who gives you power to be successful, in order to fulfill the covenant he confirmed to your ancestors with an oath. Deut 8:11-18 NLT Whatever ordinance you want to practice, please remember that the aim is to remember God our Father. Give what you want to give; it is as your spirit leads. No one should command you that you MUST present your whole month’s salary. It is not the law of God. Remember, but God loves a cheerful giver; that is what Christianity is. Let no one make merchandise of your soul by making obedience to the laws of man compulsory for you. You are free to serve God. His yoke is easy and His burden is light. http://blog.pastor.ng/post/26/Should-I-give-my-whole-first-months-salary-to-my-church-as-first-fruit |
Can I give my tithe to someone? The first time I heard this question was about 26 years ago. I was on campus walking, and I saw a sister carrying quite some load, so I went and helped carry her stuff to her room. She was someone I knew rather well though not a member of my own fellowship group. We chatted as we walked; after we dropped her stuff in her room and I turned to leave, she asked me, “Bro Bankie, can I give my tithe to someone.” That was the first time ever I was asked that question. The concept of tithing was relatively new among the faith and born-again Christianity in Nigeria then. By that time I was already a teacher and a fellowship president on campus, and I was already someone people asked doctrinal questions. What did I answer? In summary I warned against legalism, that Christians should be free to walk in love and in the generosity that is required of us in Christ. It may not be the same words but the spirit of what I said is in this short message. Oh, let me not forget to mention that she offered to give me some money after our talk, and this I gladly accepted since I actually needed it. I had asked the Lord to please send me some money. I suspect it was her tithe which she was asking about. She didn’t tell me so, I just assumed it afterwards. So, can you give your tithe to someone? Let’s get a few points correct. Are we tithing like Abraham or like Moses commanded? I suppose that every Christian will answer, “…like Abraham.” And that is good since we are not under the laws of Moses. The laws of Moses were commanded for the children of Israel as part of the covenant enacted on Sinai. Our own covenant is the New Covenant, it in the blood of Christ and has a different set of rules and codes. So it is easy to see that we are not following the codes of Moses. Yes, Abraham tithed before the Law and we are of the faith of Abraham. If we are tithing, we have to do it like Abraham and not as commanded by Moses..... MONITZ:I think I did. First, Magu's stay as acting chairman was legal until his rejection. So, the convictions are legal. Secondly, Magu does not secure convictions, EFCC does through her lawyers. Legal filings from EFCC to the court does not bear his name, except he's a witness. The koko of the matter should be to make sure EFCC were not framing people. |
