I just finished drawing a plan of my potential house that I am looking to construct on 2 plots of land measuring 120 ft X 120 ft. I am looking to build the ground and 1st floor level on a 60ft X 60ft square space and then the 2nd floor will be a little more than 60ft X 30ft, with an open rooftop deck on that 2nd floor. I also will be building a garage with gym/game room on top of the garage (see pix of plan), a security guard house, a boy's quarter house, generator/yard equipment storage house and finally a separate detached ground level roof covered porch for parties/entertainment (see pix of plan). My interior will have a castle look to it with much pillars and design you'll see in a castle. Will I be able to build from foundation to roof with 20 million Naira?

Properties / Cost Of Building Additional Floor by princekool4ya(m): 12:38am On Jun 09, 2018 |
So my Dad already has a building with Basement, Ground floor and 1st floor. The house has been plastered with windows installed, but no roof yet. Because I live abroad, he suggested I should build a 2nd floor for me and my family of four so that we have our own floor whenever I come home to visit. The top of the first floor is completely covered already with concrete and all I need is to lay blocks and so on to have a complete second floor. I have to roof the house as well. My plan is to have a 4 bedroom all with their own baths, 1 large living room, kitchen and maybe an extra play room/computer room for the kids. This house is located in the east in the villa. How much should I look to spend with granite tiles on the floor , kitchen and bathroom sink counter minus furnishing? |

Good Morning Madam, My sister had an interview on Jun 3 (minor Child or a GreenCard holder) and everything seemed fine. She was told to submit evidence of r/ship (photos, or email, or phone records) with my mom who filed for her. She was told to submit it at the GSS center with her passport. She quickly went to the nearest photo printing center and printed out 2 photos and submitted the pics and her passport to the GSS center on same day. She was given a document saying the Visa will be ready in 5-10 business days. We've checked the status of the Visa on the ceac website and it says ISSUED. The last update was on the 13th of June, which tells me that the Visa was printed on that day. Now we've called the Helpline number for the GSS center to see if the Visa is ready for pickup and no one answers the phone. We've been calling since Thursday last week and have not been able to get anyone on the phone. What can we do? We do not just want to go to the center without being certain the Visa is ready for pickup. |

LagosNIV: Thanks for the information. So, with the police report, how would she go about obtaining one? Will the NVC or the Embassy issue her a signed letter to give to the Police Commissioner for a report? Also, is there a letter issued by NVC to take to the Medical Examiner? Thanks... |

Hello, Thank you for your efforts in answering so many questions on this forum. We, Nigerians, really appreciate you. I have a case that's currently in the CSPA eligibility determination stage by NVC, for my sister who is now 21 yrs and 3 months and a Visa number currently available on this months Visa bulletin. Using the CSPA calculator, 5 months delay between filing and approval, her CSPA age is 20 years and 10 months, so she is still considered under 21 based on CSPA. We have submitted all documents as of August last year to the NVC, we've paid the AOS and IV fees and just last night we completed the visa application forms. I have no doubt in my mind that she still is under 21 based on CSPA age calculation and will get a visa interview soon. The good news is that within 2 weeks, so much progress has been made in her case probably because I have persistently called and written to expedite the case and it seems to be working. I'll say now, we do not owe NVC any more fees or documents... They just owe us an interview date. My main question is, for F2A children, do they need to get a police certificate for an interview? Is it required for that visa category? Also, her passport expired in September of this year... it is a good idea to have her passport renewed soonest right? Usually how far ahead do interviews get scheduled... is it enough time for the applicant to do medical examination and get results ready for the interview? Thank you for your due diligence in getting the citizens informed. Hats off to you. |
