I have used this device for close to a year now and tecno has refused to upgrade my phone from android 8 to even 9 talkless of 10

What u all dont understand is that most iPhone users dont care about all these new tech.. they just like to distinguish themselves from the rest.. also apple is very very innovative( most of tech you are just seeing in 2020, has been on iPad for long time) , but they choose to slow down the tech , probably not to run out of idea or to keep on milking their loyal customers..
