it is imperative to note that the scriptures we read today, either in one form or the other was once upon a time written on tablets (stone) Exodus 17. Later we moved on to write on clay, then on papyrus (writing material make from leaves). Then we moved from papyrus to animal skin( parchment), scrolls and then when printing machine was invented, there is need to have the bible in papers. Psalms 105:15 talks about the children of Israel during their journey through the wilderness. A better understanding of the text will not make one apply the particular scripture to men of God. The verse can be applied today to all who wholeheartedly accepts Christ as Lord and Saviour.
