Hello guys - I wish to begin a PGDE program in NOUN, I have no inner idea of what to expect, the quality of courses and ? Please if you have or know anyone experience on PGDE at NOUN, please kindly share with me.

As a student i did several programming languages such as vb6, java, vb.net, c++, cobol, fortran, pascal, assembly language and so on. They just broaden ur knowledge of programming and allow you to understand the underlying concepts behind various languages and styles.
Stick with your python only if you have somewhere good to learn it officially. You cant stand before someone who paid even 20k at an IT center to learn the language. Online tuts are good but you don't get a certificate to boost your cv unless you take a paid course from lynda or mva an co.

I need to develop a platform that uses 2-way SMS via shortcode in Nigeria. I want it in a way the users will not be billed when they send messages to my code.
I have not seen any Nigerian company that provides full information on their gateway implementation so pls help me out if you know a relaible company that can do this in a standard way because the traffic is going to be very high and it involves finance.
A good example of what i need is U-Report Nigeria.

One thing, one virtue you must have in mmm is PATIENCE. That he didnt confirm early may not be that he did it purposely. just exercise patient he will confirm for you. i dont bother my recipient cos i know he must confirm or risk being banned from the system forever. so in a nut shell, lets be patient when dealing with people cos some purposely wanna make you sad.

It didn't happen to me but I've heard of cases where they intentionally put you in a hot seat. No calls, no text.
On the other hand if he gets banned he can use another email and bank account

Hello PrinceTegaton,it cost me absolutely nothing to apply(it might be different with other schools) and I didn't sit for any exams cos the school I applied to accepts IELTS, TOEFL or a minimum of c6 in WAEC.

Pls i need your facts and opinions may be needed as well.
University grades are first, second and third class on a 5 point scale.
Polytechnic grades are distinction, upper credit,lower credit and pass on a 4 point scale.

Now we know that First class = distinction, is Second class upper = upper credit?

And does someone with Distinction or upper credit need PGDE for Masters abroad?

@Mercythrone,radiantochi,jamanuka,busdebbie,dongreat,chaymastic....,there are different forms of CommonWealth scholarship(partly funded,fully funded etc),first you have to know which one you want to apply for,then you check the list of schools participating in the scholarship and the eligible courses(note that not all courses are eligible for scholarship).

A nominating agency is just an organization that serves as an intermediary between you and the CommonWealth scholarship board e.g ministry of Education,a Uk organization,the school you are applying to etc...applicants are not allowed to forward their application directly to the scholarship board hence the need for a nominating agency,and as the name implies"nominating" they are the ones who nominate you for the said scholarship.

Just download the guidelines and you'll be fine.


In case of any question(which I doubt if there will be any after downloading and reading the applicant's guide) I'll be here to answer to the best of my knowledge.

CommonWealth scholarship is a very prestigious one and competitive,brace up,have 24hrs internet access and have faith.

After the execution of 2 Nigerians (a possible 3 because they said the Senegalese is a Nigerian as well with a fake passport), 3 more are still pending among the remaining 10. This means a total of 5 or 6 making Nigerians the highest. This is heartbreaking, sad and most of all giving other Nigerians bad names and suspecious look worldwide.
