For a dependant, this is usually not the case but they might just want to clarify that you're indeed a genuine dependant.
Also this request might have been sent in error.
Whatever the case is, ensure that you're available for the call and clearly answer whatever questions they have for you.

Please everyone I need your help on this.
I am a dependent to my wife on a student visa. We submitted application on the 24 November 2022. My wife MA got her visa on the 8th Dec me and my son has been waiting.
Today I got am email requesting me for an interview. See attached........
Please I need advice.

I am in same situation right now. Bio 24 Nov ikeja lag. My MA has gotten her visa on the 8th of Dec. I got NSF nothing was requested. Me husband and my son still in DMC I did two paid calls and two emails was told it was escalated on 22rd December. Please has any one been in this situation? Was the visa approved? The waiting is not easy..

WE APPLIED AS A FAMILY, BIO 24TH NOVEMBER IKEJA LAG, STANDARD. MA GOT HER VISA APPROVED 8TH DECEMBER AND COLLECTION MAIL 10TH. PASSPORT DELIVERED 16TH DECEMBER. 2 DEPENDANT STILL IN DMC. I GOT A NON STRAIGHTFORWARD MAIL ON THE 16TH DEC.
I DID TWO PAID CALLS AND TWO PAID MAIL. I WAS TOLD AWAITING DECISION, AFTER ANOTHER CALL I WAS TOLD THEY ESCALANTED IT ON THE 22/12/2022. PLEASE HAS ANYONE GOTTEN HIS OR HER VISA AFTER NON STRAIGHTFORWARD EMAIL. AND PLEASE HOW LOND DOES IT TAKES. I AM STRESSED AS IT TAKEN LONGER.
