This is a complicated thread.

Trials and temptations exists everyday. Humans are constantly in a battle between instinctive good and evil.

However, religion can mitigate that, but never underestimate the power of greed and benefits when opportunities are presented to a person.

That being said, the ability to pass the test depends on your education about life, experiences from elders and your raw inherent persona. If you posses any of the above mentioned,the probability of passing a trial is high.

That is why it is imperative to always get ourselves trained and retrained on life generally, curb our greed, live simplistic lives and help others going through the same ordeal.

The game may be tough, but only toughers finish the game.

A trial is simply an examination, to know the true value or worth of something or someone.

A trial in the biblical sense, means an examination/test of one's faith in God through trouble/difficulties, not necessarily because of sin.

Under a fiery 🔥 trial, it may seem God is silent and the heavens are closed, but at the end He will prove pitiful and tenderly merciful. (James 5:11)

Trials are a common trend in the Bible:

1. Joseph was tried through his slavery and affliction in Egypt.(Psalm 105:17-21)

2. Abraham was tried after God instructed him to sacrifice his son Isaac.(Genesis 22:1-2)

3. The Israelites were tried with the monotony of manna and scarcity of water in the wilderness. (Deuteronomy 8:3)

4. Job was tried after suddenly losing all his children and livestock in a day. (Job 1)

5. David was tried after he was made into a fugitive by Saul (1 Samuel 20:1)

6. Peter was tried after he was bitterly sorrowful for denying Jesus three times. (Luke 22: 31-32)

7. Paul was tried through his great sufferings for the gospel. (Acts 9:16)

8. Sadrach, Meshach and Abednego were tried after refusing to bow to an idol; thrown into an extremely hot furnace. (Daniel 3)

9. Moses was tried when he had to put up with the rebellion of the Israelites. (Numbers 20:10)

10. Noami was tried after losing her two sons and husband as an Israeli immigrant in Moab. (Ruth 1:1-5)

11. Daniel was tried after he was thrown into a den of lions for refusal to seek the king above God. (Daniel 6)

12. The Lord Jesus was tried through His earthly sufferings though He was God. (Hebrews 5:7-9)

Why does God occasionally try us with sufferings?

1. To renew/strengthen our faith in Him.

2. To train us for His divine purposes.

3. To build patience and endurance.

4. To mature godly character.

5. To bring us into perfection/completion.

Using Job as a case study, God tries us because He wants to bless us in a greater way that requires a higher level of faith/obedience. (Job 42:12-15)

Are you going through a trial-an unexplainably difficult situation permitted by God Himself?

When we successfully pass a trial, God smiles and says in His heart:

U don't ask for forgiveness, rather U ask for his mercy as ur daily routine, so Ur telling me if U sin 100 times a day u will ask for forgiveness 100 times, Ur sins av already been forgiven the moment u accept christ into Ur life.
