To me, I will suggest u go 4 Computer Science, Though I also studied compt. Sci. From Delta State Poly. My reasons are these:
### Compt. Engr, focuses mainly on the hardware structure of the computer systems and networking,
### while Computer science encompasses all, though with the basic intro of all courses, you can decide 2 focus on a particular course (Professional studies). Like the Computer science of a thing, it encompasses more than 10 (ten) professional courses of its own such as Programming(web development, software etc.

Minna — Equipment for the construction work have tripled since Daily Trust visited the site of the Minna 5-star Hotel early last month. So were the number of workers. The
concrete pumping machine for mixing 600 bags of cement was warming for operation when our correspondent paid a second visit to the project site last Monday.

The project manager, Mallam Aliu Ibrahim said consultants on various aspects of the hotel are at different stages of progress. "The interior designers, the lighting consultant, the exterior finish designer, the landscape team, the facility managers amongst a few are at work," he explained.

He said suppliers of finishing materials are also preparing shipment of items such as the central air conditioning, the exterior marble, the glass cladding and carpets amongst others.

According to him, barring any unforeseen circumstances, the facility will be functional in 24 months from now.

"The level of completion already achieved as of today is over 90 percent of the structural works. In fact, only the pent house is left," he disclosed.

Our correspondent however drew his attention to the fact that the project specification in the agreement was storeys and that at five storeys the contractors could not have achieved 90 percent completion.

Right now, I find it very hard to call myself a Nigerian. What is the point of pledging loyalty to a country that cares not for the HND graduates?

As an HND holder, I graduated with distinction (Top of my class)from the top polytechnic in Nigeria. With high hopes, I applied for the ongoing shell graduate recruitment. The recruitment process involves an online registration and series of online aptitude tests prior to oral interview. What broke my heart during the registration was when I saw the column fo where to indicate your class of degree. First option was first class. Second was second class upper. Third was second class lower and the fourth was third class/HND.
This means that irrespective of your grade in the polytechnic, shell sees you as a third class graduate.
Well, I have moved on. Better things ahead. My advice to HND holders is to embrace entrepreneurship. That way, we can gain respect in the society. And for the country called Nigeria that have refused to stop this BSc/HND dichtonomy, what out for HND holders who will shape the economy soon!!!

Its a pity......Shell Nigeria shall pay d last Trillions in there accounts to hire me work for them, its just a matter of time... Let them discriminate.

In a major feat, the Department of State Services,
DSS, has arrested a man, Sani Musa, believed to
be an associate of leading APC leaders who was
contracted by INEC to produce the controversial
PVCS.
Recall that APC is also being investigated by the
DSS for cloning PVCS in Lagos. The APC officials
involved in the criminal offence made useful
statements to the DSS.
When contacted to confirm if Alhaji Sani Musa is in
DSS custody, the spokesperson for the DSS Marilyn
Ogar said: “I will not mention names of people. We
have been mandated to do our job and that we will
do.”
She added that: “It is election period and people
cannot stop us from doing our job. We are not
politicians, we will not be dragged into political
issues.”
Alhaji Sani Musa, who is the owner of ACT
Technologies, the company that manufactured and
supplied the PVCs to INEC, is now under unlawful
detention in DSS dungeons, the APC said.
However, The All Progressive Congress (APC) has
issued an alert alleging that the Department of
State Security Services (DSS) is detaining one Alhaji
Sani Musa the supplier of the Permanent Voters
Card (PVC) to be used by Independent Electoral
Commission (INEC) in the general elections.
The APC statement claims Sani Musa is being
tortured by the DSS to release the PVC’s security
codes.
The alert noted “This is very alarming development
for a lot of reasons. ACT Technologies is a
reputable, well established, Nigerian company
based in Abuja. Between 2013 and 2014, INEC paid
the company the sum of N2.6 billion to
manufacture the PVCs with very high security
specifications.
“Among the security specifications is a robust
encryption system that could not be easily broken.
Now the DSS wants the security codes to the PVCs
encryption system! The entire forthcoming general
elections are under threat if the DSS were to
obtain these security codes,” the APC added.
They called on well meaning Nigerians to register
their revulsion at this treasonable move by the
DSS, by writing letters, calling, texting, or emailing
the EU Elections Monitors based in Abuja.
“Ask the EU Monitors to put pressure on the
government to release Alhaji Sani Musa
immediately,” APC demanded
It is obvious that the APC is scared of the
revelation that their associate has made to the
DSS, hence they have resorted to propaganda.
Investigation has revealed that the APC has
revealed millions of cloned PVCS, using approved
security codes to produce same. The arrest of Sani
Musa may not be unconnected to this discovery.
