Go to Xmanager , Select AppLock and set it up.

It should work. When you are about installing it, it should bring up a dialog like

"Select components to install

[] Android studio
[] Android SDK
[] emulator
etc"

make sure you tick all those boxes while installing

My own didn't show any sign of connection so I downloaded and installed ADB driver, about 9mb

You can google how to install it but I'm not assuring you it's going to work as our cases are a bit different

You probably installed Android studio without SDK

Android studio with SDK is about 1GB+, how large is the one you downloaded?

The phone is perfect, I like the multitasking abilities, and the cam is OK, the only downside is the battery is not as it used to be..according to updates from here it must be due to the fact that i did an update on it

Yes. It's very possible. If the app you're building has rest backend, just check your machine IP address using cmd - > ipconfig. Then use your IP address to connect em together. NB: TURN ON YOUR MACHINE WI-FI AND CONNECT YOUR PHONE To it FOR BEST RESULT

Try and connect your phone and laptop to the same network. E.g, turn on your phone mobile Data and Hotspott and connect to the hotspot with your laptop. It should work that way...

Government needs to help developers in Nigeria (especially beginners).

They should take a cue from FreeBasics and make top Tech sites free on both mobile and PC. Sites like developer.android, udacity, w3schools, stackoverflow and others.

Adding YouTube to the free list would be asking for too much but then, there could be some sort of registration to use the "FreeTech" service (yup, I just named it ) where data would be allocated to users and it would be monitored, if you watch silly YouTube videos with the free data, you get kicked out of the FreeTech YouTube service.

I know the top developers that are making money don't need this but we the growing ones(making little or no money) need it.

The time frame would be determined by your pace of learning and dedication.

I think you should share your idea with a trusted developer first (you can trust those guys you mentioned).

They should be able to point you in the right direction.

I think theres a recommendation from jetbrain that says you should remove older version before installing the newer. And, how did you uninstall 'only' the IDE, i thought its bundled together with the SDK. My 2cents, -using the option menu click on 'files' -then select 'invalidate cache and restart', it should work, but if the problem persists uninstall anything Android and download Android Studio v2.2 with SDK and start all over again.

While Uninstalling there's an option to keep user settings and SDK, that's what I did

I have Android studio 1.4.1
I tried updating it but the site says I have to download a new version instead so I downloaded AS 2.2 without SDK (cuz I already have SDK) .. Na there wahala start o

1. My old projects stopped opening (told me to set proxy bla bla)
2. Gradle build was extremely slow (instead of it to be faster)


My question is, can't I use the SDK that came with the version 1.4.1 with the new version 2.2?

Are there some stuff I need to update in my SDK or I need to get the AS with SDK?

I think the way it works is, if you don't have a signature, you won't see others signature.

What error does it give? Download failed?
