After updating my phone (to the Dirac fixed update), it doesn't show album art cover on the lockscreen when I'm playing music again

Anyone else experiencing this?

What Dirac does is to turn your phone's back speaker and front ear piece(speaker) into left and right speaker, thereby giving you a Stereo sound(when playing without earphones). It has nothing to do with ear phones.

Okay, Infinix uses Dirac to optimize just speakers cuz Dirac has optimizations for headphones too

Updated my phone but Dirac seems to affect only my speaker
I hear no difference when I'm listening to music with headphones and I toggle it

Yeah. Its more louder and immersive (i am using my trusty Sony MX ear-buds to judge). Ringtone and alarm loudness got a bit of a boost too.

That reminds me, i get close to 2 days of use. My usage pattern is ultrasaving mode during my commute, 6hrs of browsing using Chrome. Data is switched on through out work hours during which Whatsapp, Telegram and Gmail are used intermittently.

Already updated.
- Dirac working now. I might run performance benchmarks later but presently, no lags yet.
- Did not experience the "green screen while watching videos on Facebook" so i cannot comment on that.
- Battery life will come after the update has "settled in"
- Security patch is October 2017 for the security conscious users.

All in all, things are looking good. Will start using this phone as my daily driver. Let me see how it fares on the long run.

Is the sound significantly better with the fixed Dirac?

You can get them all from GoogleFonts Website and afterwards, copy into the font directory or folder.

Please those running Android 7.0 on Hot 4 should help me clarify the following.
1. Can lockscreen wallpaper be changed to a custom picture, other than the ones on XOS?
2. Do you get lockscreen notifications for missed calls, SMS, Whatsapp etc?
3. Is rooting possible?
4. Any bugs so far?

4. Dirac doesn't work (it doesn't even matter cuz the sound is still lit) I've not experienced any other bug

pls am I the only one experiencing this problem in hot 4 x557 nougat v86,
1. Dirac doesn't work
2.Battery not lasting long as it was on marshmallow
3.Fingerprint is sometimes unresponsive when unlocking apps locked with xsecurity.
4.The fingerprint is sometimes not responsive when using it to snap in camera.

You might be the only one.

I don't experience any of the other things you listed except Dirac.

Is it just my phone or this Dirac has no effect on the sound in this 7.0?

You can do it yourself. Provided your phone is not rooted, the process should be smooth and successful

That's because you're using Magazine lockscreen. If you turn it off, you'd see the icon

and the beta version has no known bug, have been using it for more than a week now. I don't know what's keeping them from rolling it over as an update.

Turn on Display network speed on idle
you can also turn on Display network speed on lockscreen

The update is very stable. I'm really loving it. No bugs whatsoever. If after updating you face any issues, just back up your files and format.

Personally, the most awesome feature in this update is the scrollshot. Really dope.

Anyway, if you guys want to use any fonts apart from those available in the store and if you want to enable split screen for all apps, head on to the Infinix forum. Lots of tutorials there.

I love scrollshot. I've always needed it for my chat screenshot

It is stable. I'm yet to observe any bug

This is the first time I have updated my phone since I bought it in September last year.

No regrets. 7.0 is nice!

1. I can't talk about the camera cuz I barely use it. but you should have an idea of the quality of a 8mp camera

2. The fingerprint scanner is very nice. Super fast

3. It's not compulsory

Let me guess, you want the lock screen that changes everytime, right? If yes, that's the magazine lockscreen. If no, just ignore this comment.

To activate it, go to Settings > Security > Magazine lockscreen (under encryption subhead)
