sangresan:

Reread the trash you posted and tell us if it makes sense.

If you don't know the history of Nigeria, ask your elders at home.

Awolowo and Ahmadu Bello wanted to include the secession clause in our Independence Constitution, only for Zik to argue otherwise and he succeeded in convincing the British colonial officials not to include it.

Was Awolowo not in the opposition, while Igbos led by Zik and northerners led by Ahmadu Bello filled up the Federal Civil Service with their people? Did they not conspire to send Awolowo to prison?

Even when some gallant officers wanted to right the wrong, did the Igbos among them not betray the cause by sparing their political leaders, while kpaing Northern and Western political and military leaders such as Akintola, Ahmadu Bello, Tafawa Balewa, Okotie Eboh, Zakariyahu Maimalari, Ademulegun, and Ralph Sodehinde? Was this ill-advised action not the immediate cause of the Civil War?

Did Ojukwu not come from exile to join the NPN which was more or less dominated by the same people who waged a brutal war against his people less than 15 years earlier?

Did Awo not approach Zik for a political alliance in 1979 and 1983 willing to play second fiddle? Did Zik not go ahead to forge a weak alliance with his Northern masters again? What happened during Abiola's election versus Bashir Tofa? How many Igbo states did he win?

I can go on and on to show how mischievous Igbos are. These people blame others for their evil-mindedness and play victim cards when the table turns on them.

Keep educating them pls

It's a Yoruba word, Wikipedia says so

Not just Wikipedia. Different materials that dated back to 18th century have even been shared on this thread.

Yoruba Dictionary - melon (Egusi)

Igbo Dictionary - melon (elili/enini)

Yoruba that has several varieties of it don't know how to Cook it? You dey craze? How do Igbo cook it when they cook it like the way they cook the shitty ohha soup? You dey craze? Na ment?

Point is Egusi is Yoruba word with the Yoruba's sounds which has its meaning only in Yoruba language. QED

Don't mind him, he said people that have been cooking something for centuries when his forefathers were still jumping from one tree to the other like monkeys don't know how to cook because it is different from the way they cook their own. 😂

Very funny lots.

I don’t give a braised monkey’s where the name comes from. Ondo/Ekiti/Osun aside, Yoruba people do not know how to cook good egusi soup in the way other Nigerians know it thanks to Igbos, Calabars and Deltans. Call it egusi, call it egwusi, elili, gushi, egunsi, melon, whatever. That one is not even the issue. Not the one I’m interested in.

😂 😂 😂

Who told you yours is better? Clo.wns!

Do Yorubas get onugbu-egusi, azu-igwe and complimentary-goat-meat (since azu-igwe is goat-weed) and mgbam/akpurakpu egusi with achara (elephant-grass)? Do Yorubas get Deltan egusi pepper soup?
Again, you’re arguing with Probz. Be careful. I eat people like you up with pounded yam and a side of Wheetabix and a side of French toast with goose fat, quail liver and ukwa for breakfast. I can even use you for egusi.

Nobody is disputing the fact that you people can eat human as cannibalism is a thing in the South East but the bone of contention here is the fact that Egusi is Yoruba as everything about it from the alphabet to the meaning is pure Yoruba.

Also Wikipedia: “Egusi is the name for this across many parts of West Africa and it can't be attributed to one tribe or ethnic group. For the sake of peace and unity, I removed the part that claimed "Egusi" is a word from a certain tribe.” People forget that edits can be seen by as many people who wilful edit the page for free (i.e., virtually everyone).

Nifty edit, though, whoever did that.

Die if you like, EGUSI IS A YORUBA WORD, the soup may not originate from Yoruba land or even Nigeria as different tribes and ethnic groups across Africa have names for it but Egusi is purely Yoruba!.

If El rufai can deny Tinupoo Northern votes, it's highly welcome. If Obi run again, Tinubu run, then a single popular northern candidate doesn't need to campaign in d South before he wins.

In addition, INEC must be checkmated because d drug lord will bribe them with Nigeria future.

If anything refuse to work, then let military or terrorists or bandits take over d country. It's better than dis maggot in power.

All these are wishes from a damaged, bittered and broken heart.

You are being played yet again. El-rufai is strategizing for 2031 and not 2027. And he knows the best way to stand a chance in 2031 is to support Tinubu in 2027.

Had one like that back in OAU. He was my roommate in 100 level. Dude had stellar result both in WAEC and O levels. He was rusticated after end of year one for having a CGPA below 1 out of 5.

About 7 years later, I was at computer village to buy computers for a secondary school project I was working on. I saw my roommate hustling and doing middleman searching for customers on the street to take into his oga's shop.

Souls are being saved from the deadly cult group Obidients

Even within their camp, dissenting opinions are not tolerated. The Shakahola Labour Party

By the special grace of God, all Yorubas that refused to have sense and still shouting "we are Obidients" will end disgracefully like this.

Your name is Akin and you expect Igbo group to see you as one of them? They only need you to win elections and to ridicule your people before they disgrace you because you are naturally hated like others from your tribe. cool

FG should find a way to sell this grain directly.

Politicians at state level are worse than Federal Government because they know the people concentrate more on Abuja.

Governors and their cronies will take everything to themselves and still blame FG. 😂
