WrriterNg: ⚡Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has requested enhanced security for his son, Yair Netanyahu, in the United States.
Yair Netanyahu, 33, has been living in Miami, Florida since April 2023.
Yair is currently under the protection of Israel's Shin Bet internal security service, with his security detail costing approximately 2.5 million shekels (around $680,000) annually. So his son is too important to be fighting Hezbollah or Hamas? |

They claimed Nigerians are smart people but the comments on this thread are so unfortunate. Many of their submissions show that they are educated illiterate I'm not saying it didn't happen, I'm just countering the saner clime statement of yours. People still die in this manner abroad too. Infact alot of medical negligence happen in the US once you do not have medical insurance or enough money to cover your bills but not as high as here in Nigeria Which I am not disputing. |

lanre316: Na so you think. But you really don't know.
The East nations hide their atrocities, lots of it including their hypocrisies, from outside world. At least the West expose their own for criticism and possible self-correction. French people may protest his arrest like Assange case and probably get him released. Let Russians, Iranians, Chinese or North Koreans protest any political imprisonment by their leaders and let's see what will happen.
No African who has never lived under East regimes should be taken serious when comparing West and East. List 5 hidden atrocities that they claim they do not do. This is how it works. I'm yet to see any Eastern country claiming not to jail oppositions acting as moles for Western countries. If jailing known traitors is what you're talking about, tjen you've obviously missed it. Even in the US and other Western countries, no one treat traitors with gloves hands, but claiming otherwise is where the hypocrisy lie. No Eastern country claims to be the land of democracy, the land of free speech, the land of freedom, God's own country bla bla bla while housing the biggest and largest population of prisoners, gun murders, dirvorce, single home parenthood, homeless people etc. I don't want to bore myself this morning because this argument is too obvious to the sane. No Eastern country claim to practise the best democracy or freedom of speech like the so called Western countries that keep arresting people even for their post on social media (UK, France, US etc), so where is the comparison? |

“The transmission of intelligence, artillery adjustments, broadcasting of video feeds from copters and much more is really done very often today via Telegram” This comparison is not working. How has Telegram benefited the Russian govt or military since 2014? |

WritterNg: A woman also helped the authorities to locate Hushpuppi.
As a billionaire, the only place you should be seen with a woman is in your bedroom.
Don't take them on trips on your yacht, plane or make them part of your crew. They're always the weakest link.
They're the first person that the authorities will contact when they plan to get you. Question is ; Was Durov hiding? I read somewhere that the arrest Warrant was prepared minutes before he landed in France, meaning there was nothing suggesting he was in any way wanted by the French elite criminals prior to his flying into France. We call such a warrant in Nigeria "Kangaroo court judgement" |

WritterNg: ⚡One has to imagine this:
The owner of Telegram, Durov, who now holds a French passport, could be brought before a court in France. This means that Russia has no possibility of protecting him on-site as its own citizen in any way. Even if he still had a Russian passport, as a holder of a French passport, he is first and foremost a French citizen, and Russia would have no access to him.
Nevertheless, Russia is trying to give him all possible support, even though, in my opinion, he personally doesn't deserve it. But that's another matter. He certainly doesn’t deserve to be unjustly imprisoned, just to have control over his platform taken away from him in the end.
Russia still owes him nothing. He brought this upon himself. A small boy thinking he's wise, trying to play neutral in a world like this. You can only play neutral if you're a nobody or a somebody that's of equal strengths with the adversaries. |

Although i suspect he's already in Russia, judging by his posts.
I'm sure many billionaires and CEO are already considering obtaining a second passport.
It'll be wise not to choose UAE, Saudi, Turkish, Qatar, Nicaragua citizenship because those ones can easily bow to pressure from the US and EU.
But NEVER Russia! Russia, China, Iran, India and even North Korea are the best bets for these billionaires/CEOs |

He can no longer stay neutral while being a French citizen. |

Alamkir: Idiot durov, I don't understand whats so special about visiting these western countries. He has tried to remain neutral in all these. I even read somewhere that Russia once banned Telegram, not sure if it's true though. BTW, he's also a citizen of France, meaning he went to his country and got arrested there. The error he made was to have gotten French citizenship instead of getting citizenship with only neutral countries.
