Politics › Re: UK Politicians Should Focus On Happenings In The UK, Not Nigeria— Kemi Badenoch by prof22(m): 9:14am On Aug 10, 2025 |
This is the bitter truth that alot of people in the diaspora do not understand. Because they have been given citizenship and they now own a house and latest car, the next is to start attacking their home country forgetting that, the people they so crave to identify with now will at every given opportunityremind them where they come come from, as american as obama is, they still reminded him at some point. Natbrowny: The crazy thing about this arrangement is that. If this Kemz fumbles in some decision on things in the UK. The UK people will still refer to her as Nigerian.
When things are favoring the west, they call u Their own. When it goes south, they call u exactly who u are.
AJ won a fight, UK tabloids says the Brit won again. We are proud When AJ lost, same tabloids writes British Nigerian Lost. Just to remind us he has 9ja roots |

Please find your way to the hospital for proper care. I learnt honey works too. May your recuperation be easy for you. So sorry! koldrun: I was trying to prepare dinner about 2 hours ago, when boiling water poured on my leg. I was rushed to a nearby hospital, where I was administered first aid, and then the doctor prescribed some drugs. I have a feeling that this might be a third degree scald. Your suggestions are welcome on how to treat this. |

A popular doctor on twitter was wrongfully accused of rape. He nearly lost his career and his life. What happens to his mental health afterwards? I am not against anyone reporting abusive cases, the point here is that i believe people don't marry strangers, there are issues that could be settled amicably. On the second point, you know this is pure abuse of the privilege. If it's a paid service where women/men have to pay for that service, they won't be calling on every issues. This is a pure case of abuse. I am totally against any form of abuse. Kobojunkieee: Listen, if a woman called the police to report that her husband refuses to have Chinese instead of Italian for dinner, the police would not send anyone there. There has to be a valid reason for the dispatcher to send out a policeman to a particular location and that reason has to be a serious enough one. So, please stop trying to trivialize the work of the Police in this.
2. There is no such thing as abusing a privilege as it is the police, not the reporters who determine whether to have a police officer dispatched to a location or not. If the police Force — not a police officer— decides as an organization that a particular citizen is in abuse of privilege, the Office of the police would inform such a person of this. It is not the job of any police officer to make this decision on his own on behalf of the force.
3. The police force would rather you allow them to determine which of the cases are serious and which are not serious. Your job and that of every other citizen is to report any possible crimes when it happens so the authorities can take it from there. |

I disagree with you. Some of these officers are counselors as well, its part of their job. He only gave a piece of advice, stop reporting everything. There are some of these cases that could be settled amicably without involving the police. Not all the cases are abusive. Do you think all the cases are abusive? Kobojunkieee: The man was wrong in his choice of words and majorly in the fact that he wore a police uniform while uttering those words. |

Are all the cases genuine? Are they not making up stories as well? There's a case of a popular doctor on twitter that was wrongfully accused of rape. He nearly lost his career if not his life. Shouldn't the lady be jailed? What happens when this accusations are false? What happens to the men too? Shouldn't false accusers lives be destroyed conpletely? cococandy: So why were people hyping the video all over the internet in direct attack against women by saying “even the UK police has told Nigerian women to stop calling the police on their men”?
As if to insinuate that they are making up stories about nonexistent abuse and lying to the police? That’s the impression it gave |

Go and watch the video and listen attentively, if you lack conprehension, ask for help. cococandy: He went to join the UK police with the Nigerian police mentality of telling women that domestic violence is family matter . Until they die then everyone will start screaming “wHy diDn’t She leAve?” 🙄 |

Is that video about women reporting a matter to them or about women reporting every matter even the ones that can be settled amicably? You are abusing the privilege and that's what the video is all about. How about the cases that are none abusive? Abusive cases should be reported, how about the weaponisation of this privilege? How about issues that can be settled amicably? This is not about Africa or not. There are many cases of false accusations against men too. Men have been jailed for false rape accusations, many have lost their jobs and their career. Is that fair? Can you wish your siblings or your sons? Women shouldn't learn to behave themselves and obey the laws too? Are women above the laws? The children are the ones that suffer in all this. Should we talk about paternity fraud? It's a two way thing. Men's mental health matters too. Address this as if your son is the one involved in it and stop the attack. Look for whatever you lack in your life. Botragelad: Have you actually read the post? The video is from years ago, and that individual was acting on their own initiative. No sensible police officer would suggest that a woman shouldn't report a matter to them.
If someone is being abusive, you have every right to contact the police, it's their job to sort out whether you're being abusive or not. This isn't Africa, where people seem to get away with everything. Learn to behave yourself and follow the law. You're not above the law.
You chaps need to lose the macho attitude you have back in Africa, where you think you can boss women about as you please and torment them. Well, let me tell you, that sort of rot isn't tolerated in the UK or any decent society.
This is exactly how you lot mistreat women and tell them to deal with the situation until they end up dead. |
