I am Andrew and I am currently running my Masters Degree in Educational Technology at the National Open University of Nigeria.
If you wanna excel you should go register for Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria, a professional body for teachers and try and get a Masters Degree in Educational technology and maybe a Computer Certificate then you can even work in organizations

If yes....what kind of reputation do you have? looking for likely questions that will be asked? what else do you want to teach the kids there if you are employed in the school..even if as an admin officer.
I must say i am not comfortable the way we graduates take job search.
I see so much un-seriousness on our path.

If you know your worth as a potential maths teacher...there is no reason why you need to ask this kind of question.

Debbie, I understand where you are going but maybe I didn't put my questions as I supposed to.
My seriousness should not be doubted at all.
I just wanna know if someone has been invited there before and how their interview questions were.that's all.(I haven't taught Montessori students before, just ss1 and ss2 maths. So I can say I am a JJC In the aspect of Montessori)
Am a professional teacher not just someone who is being forced to teach.

Good day all,pls I need your advice on an issue. Has anyone worked with a terrible head teacher before?I teach in a school where the proprietress resides abroad and the head teacher behaves irrationally. When I got the job,I noticed they were operating the old teaching method and since I have a little experience,I suggested we include sounds and some modern ways of teaching,she declined and insisted on the old. Someone then advised I speak with the proprietress which I did and she was so impressed. I guess she now sees the head teacher's incompetence and told her to make me an H.O.D. That was the beginning of my night mare, she doesn't answer my greetings,if there is any duty am supposed to carry out she gives it to another teacher. She behaves as if I don't exist.I wish to resign but I submitted the name of the school for my PGDE teaching practice and its irreversible. Am already dreading resuming with her again. I don't want to report her to the proprietress so it doesn't look like I want her gone but am just confused. Any advise pls? No bashing pls.

Dunnybaby ,don't expect everyone to like you.
You did what you did to move the school forward and you were rewarded.
Just greet her once or twice again and if she doesn't respond, stop wasting your time greeting her again.
Learn to take your stand too. As you called the proprietress to tell her about the old methods, you can also call her to tell her about how you are being treated..
You have a right and a choice .
Don't make the wrong choice of quitting cos even if you quit , you will still see other people like her , so will you continue to quit again and again ?
Keep on keeping on and don't quit because of human being.God isn't happy when we fear another creature of his .
