Hello House,

Kindly advise me on which way to follow. I currently earn 150k per month and I am thinking of enrolling for an MBA in Unilag. My headache is I will have to pick the full time option because it is cheaper and has better lecture hours, which means I have to stop work. Classes are from 9am-2pm weekly. The fee is about 200k.
I am skeptical about the part time option because its classes are during the evenings from 4pm to 8pm. I live and work on the island(Ajah) and close by 5pm. My boss won't allow me close by 3pm. He might agree to close at 4pm but even if he agrees to 3pm, there's no way I will get to Unilag before 5:30pm(on a no traffic day) by public transport. And lets say I finish lectures by 8pm, with the traffic and all I might be getting home by 11pm or so(dangerous for a girl). And it will so tell on me because the stress will be too much.(I am already a Lekpa I don't want to disappear). The koko again is that the fees for part time is about 500k.(I just started earning 150k ooh shocked and also ponzi finish my money at the beginning of the year. GREED. don't blame me ohh, many people fell victim with me).
The last option is the Executive MBA. Classes are on saturdays from 8pm to 4pm. The fee is about 2Million. I won't even go there.
If I say I should do another Masters course it will have to be a science course which are all full time.

My question is should I take the risk to forfeit my job and do my MBA? The forms are out. I want to prepare my mind before buying the form(N22,500). I really want an upgrade to my certificate. I also need money to keep me going because there is no one to lean on. Everybody is forming OYO. And I also don't want to regret embracing an opportunity now that I have money for fees. No one knows tomorrow. Please advise oooohhhhhh mbok
Pls I have sent you a pm
Pls reply it's very important
Thanks

First of all enrolling in a masters course is a nice idea.i think you shouldn't leave your job ,meaning you should enroll for the part-time masters program. If you are a guy you can buy a ladies bike so you can shuttle(it's cheaper and faster).
Pls again I say, don't leave your job o.am not earning as much as you are and am doing my own masters degree at the moment so I know what it means to do the two.
God will strengthen you. You just have to pay the price and you don't need much lectures, so don't bother about whether its part-time or full time .
All the best

someone kindly help me please, I have patiently gone through the POP examination time table over and again but my registered courses PCR 351 and GST 301 for 300 level criminology and security studies is missing. I'm so worried.
if your course is a pop course ,it surely is in the time table.
try searching for it using keywords(not the course codes).that's what I did for mine
hope it works

yes I get you sis but someone just posted I think 2 days ago that he has gotten his cert this January 2017.
its well but as for him, I think his best bet to avoid PGD is National Open Uni and I hope you know people have used their Postgraduate certs to gain admission outside the shores of Nigeria (am not talking about just Ghana o, European countries) and then y not here in Naija lol
all the best sis and op:don't give up

Can a 2.40 second class lower graduate go for masters direct?
My brother go for Masters at National Open University in Edu admin and planning do very well(at least 4.0) then go to a conventional university and do your PhD. The sky will be your starting point.
Oh, and also expect people to talk cos you can't please everyone in this world but know that you have to take responsibility for your studies and future.
At least that's what am doing
All the best again bro

How can u advise him to go to Open University?
Y won't I? Open Unis are the in thing now as per distant and quality education. Y are we so caught up in the web of "if I no see lecturer face to face I no go understand or I no go make am"?
My brother Open Unis are booming in India, England especially for those who don't have much time In the day.
Oh if one wants to have masters and his work doesn't allow him ,he will wait till thy kingdom come or he will resign and go to OAU or UI cos its conventional?
My brother don't look at people's face cos to be sincere nobody really cares and no one will have your back at the last and some people will still ask you why did you do PGD (that's if you wanna please people and go to a " prestigious" uni.
Good luck shaa

I think that has to do with TMA schedule days, because I tried to check my TMA results too after the resetting and I was denied brcause it wasn't my faculty day.

Not so sure though if there's other factor to that, you know this noun thing is becoming too difficult to understand
It's well
But for me I have already submitted all my TMAs and all I want to know is that my results should show after exams o lol
