Boko Haram Reportedly Submits List of Detained Men to Be Swapped for Chiboks Girls Boko Haram have reportedly submitted a list of its men it wants the Federal Government to release in exchange for the abducted school girls seized at the Government Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State in April, a Punch report said. The process of verification of the status of the men on the…list has also started, the report quoted a security source as saying. This verification is to ascertain the state of health of the Boko Haram men. The source, according to the report, claims that the on-going talks with representatives of the insurgents in the Chadian capital have witnessed great progress, claiming there had been other meetings at three different locations held in the spirit of the ongoing peace deal. He dismissed fears that the insurgents may decide to back out of the negotiations because of recent confrontations with security forces.“We have made a big progress, a very big progress on the issue of the on-going negotiations. But these are not the right time to discuss details”, the source said. The source also refuted claims in the media that there were abductions recently in Yola, Madagali and other towns in Borno State, adding that the security agencies had decided not to talk on the negotiations until the set objectives had been achieved. The source said: “The media should show some restraint in reporting this matter; this thing is about the country; people should not report this negotiation with sensationalism. You know how sensitive it is. “Another thing you must note is that many of the reports about this negotiation are false; they are not true”.

FGjobs:Dear, I hate to see when someone like Ozugbo is full of negativity, hopeless, and criticism just because he has no single idea of what is happening in the ministry. Instead of him to pipe low and seek for a genuine information, he is here castigating those who are willing to give infor about what's happening. Which will give you a clue to where you are going. Now let me sound it clear, From September 2013, I read people on this same thread saying that NSCDC will recruit between December 2013 and January 2014, I just kept mute but I was laughing within myself because I know certainly, NSCDC was not making any plan to recruit within that two months. Because they were busy settling those who were retired last year October/November. The truth is that NSCDC would have started recruitment on March, 2014, but due to some unavoidable issues, they were unable to do so. Then something started happening some months ago, even before NASS embark on their Recess. And Assuming NASS approved the money before embarking on Recess, everything about recruitment would have been over by now. The $1b Loan is not meant for military had wares alone, it includes training, uniforms, arms, allowances, and new vehicles for all the military and paramilitary agencies. especially for this upcoming election. Meanwhile, FFS, started their own recruitment processes on February this year, and their first batch came out on June, while second batch came out on August. And they will be through with training on December. NSCDC COMPRO exam started about two months ago, it began with their Non-armed squad, "different states with different dates" while their armed squad started their own COMPRO exam/training on Tuesday 16th of last month. Which they have finished by now. And be rest assured that FG internal recruitment Jobs are not the same thing with state kind of job which stays only 2 or 3 months to call the shortlisted candidate for their appointment letter. If u are talking of FG advertised jobs, then u should think of getting employed in next 2 or 3 months, just like National Identity management commission job (NIMC). but if you are talking of internal recruitment, then be thinking of minimum of 6 months to get employed. Because all the processes that were carried out during the online processing of advertised jobs will also surface during the internal recruitment. As long as everything is being cued in the computer. But you won't know, unless you are told. and bear in mind that when a student who is in primary one, wrote an exam, and he or she is about moving into primary two because their result is out, u should know that the school cannot leave the primary one class empty. So dear FGjobs, i hope u can understand where I'm going now. In this case, I implore everyone of us to calm down and pray to God. Lest I forget, in any online application, it's the responsibility of job seekers to pay for the processing of the exam and other things, even if you did'nt pay a dime in the bank, at least, you must subscribe before you have access to internet. While in internal recruitment, the government pays for everything. |
Ozugbo:Dear, I won't blame you. But be rest assured that not everyone on this thread is a job seeker. It's because of people like you in this thread that I hadly give infor on what's happening in ministry of interior. You don't even have any source with accurate infor and that's why you are waiting for an advert for vacancy. But believe me that you will wait for this till you begin to see grey hair on your head. I commend some people like slexd,Lawal4green,Rosarie, some others who has a little idea of what is currently happening. Wait for a mass protest to be carried out before you get employed. |
Ozugbo:Even as you are talking about the needful, if you like, carry Bomb to Aso Rock, when FG is ready to recruit, that's when they will do it. Your protest cannot push FG to the wall to do what they don't want to do. Even if they did'nt recruit till the election date, who is going to occupy the Presidential seat must surely be there. The Vote of Ozugbo cannot determine who is going to rule or not. |
There was a butiful girl who was admired by four men. A singer, A hunter, A doctor, and A fisherman. One day she went to wash her clothe by the river. Co-cidently the four men where there. All of a sudden a crocodile bit her and dragged her into the water. The singer immediately composed a butiful song, the crocodile raise his head above the water to listen... The hunter shot dead the crocodile and the girl floated on water. The fisherman dive in and brought her to the shore, then the doctor treated her and she was well again. Now who deserve to marry the girl among the four ![]() |
Ozugbo:@Ozugbo, I don't know the reason why you always sound Negative, discouraging and hopeless. All your posts is full of critcism. Dear, you better change from this life style, because this is not worth living. Because of some critisicm here, some people don't want to give their infor about what's going on. I believe that it's not only the job seekers that are on this thread. There are also some highly connected people, even people in a high rank who can give us accurate infor with date are also here. And don't be surprise that Abba Moro might also be viewing this thread with a disguise username. So please dear, learn to be on a possitive side. Not always sounding negative. I never meant to sound rude. Just an advice. |

Ebola: Nurse Infected by Thomas Duncan Gets Life-Saving Blood Transfusion: The Texan nurse diagnosed with Ebola after being infected by Thomas Duncan has received a blood transfusion from survivor Dr Kent Brantly. It is the third time Dr Brantly has donated blood to Ebola victims after medics discovered he had the same blood type as previous patient Dr Nick Sacra and NBC cameraman Ashoka Mukpo, who is still being treated. Incredibly, according to DailyMail, nurse Nina Pham, 26, has also matched with Brantly and today received a transfusion of his blood in a move that doctors believe could save her life. Pham has been in quarantine since Friday after catching the disease from 'patient zero' Thomas Eric Duncan, the man who brought the deadly virus to America. Today, Pham's condition was described as 'clinically stable'. Those who have survived Ebola have antibodies in their blood which can help new sufferers beat the disease. Dr. Brantly had offered his blood to Thomas Eric Duncan but their blood types didn't match. |
2015: Atiku picks APC nomination form A former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has paid the stipulated N27.5m to pick the presidential nomination form of the All Progressives Congress on Monday. Atiku picked the form after a short ceremony at the national secretariat of the party in Abuja. Speaking during the event, Atiku enjoined the party leaders to ensure a level-playing field for all aspirants before and during the primaries. The former vice president was the first to formally declare his intention to contest the Presidential ticket under the platform of the APC. Also, he happened to be the first to pick the nomination ticket, while others are yet to declare. Atiku said, “Mr. Chairman, I need not let you know my political antecedents as far as the provision of a level-playing field for every member of this party is concerned because that is the only thing or one of the things that will make us different from the so called ruling party. “Anybody who believes he has a democratic right to exercise should be given that opportunity to exercise that right. It is left for the members of this party and the Nigerian public to make a decision. “I don’t think it is the responsibility of anyone of us as an individual or group to decide for this party or its membership for the people of this country. Yes, as leaders, we have a responsibility to guide those coming behind, but the guidance should be based on this firmly rooted democratic principles. “Mr. Chairman, therefore, it is my singular honour and privilege to hand over to you or your representative two receipts: one, presidential expression of interest; the second one, presidential nomination form; all totalling N27.5m and I believe I am now entitled to receive my forms and then go onto the next stage.” Responding, the APC National Chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, prayed that God should give to Nigerians a President that would defend the interest of the country. Oyegun said that the party was looking forward to a contest that would be totally rancour-free, believing that one of the aspirants would eventually emerge while others would join hands to make sure that Nigeria become a pride of the black nation. Earlier, the former Vice President had unveiled plans by his campaign committee to host a Policy Review Summit at the Obasanjo Presidential Library, Abeokuta, on October 27, 2014. Atiku made this plan public at a press briefing in Abuja. Asked why he took the event to Obasanjo’s Presidential Library, Atiku said, “It is not the issue of whether endorsement is coming from Chief Olusegun Obasanjo or whatever. “Obasanjo is in the PDP. He can endorse whoever he wants to endorse or not endorse. That is the beauty of democracy. “You will remember in 2008, when Barack Obama first ran (for President), a leading Republican, Gen. Collin Powel, decided to endorse him but he was in the Republican Party. That is the beauty of democracy. “You have the right to endorse or not to endorse anybody but the final decision rests with the people. Don’t bother about endorsement or not. I am prepared to be President.” According to him, running governments these days is akin to running a business, so that if you cannot run a business, you have no business running a government.” He lamented that poverty had remained intractable in Nigeria because the country was structured in such a way that the national wealth remained in the hands of very few people. |
2015: PDP Members, APC In Fresh Move To Stop Jonathan: A fresh suit seeking to stop President Goodluck Jonathan from contesting the forthcoming presidential election has been instituted before a federal high court siting in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital. The present action comes in the wake of attempts by a chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, to appeal an earlier judgment by an Abuja high court which cleared the President to contest the 2015 presidential election if he so desires. The latest suit was brought by a member of the president’s political party, PDP, Mr. Adejumo Mansouru from Lagos state and a member of the opposition All Progressives Congress, APC, Olatoye Wahab from Osun state. They want the court to restrain the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, and the Attorney General of the Federation, AGF, from allowing President Jonathan to participate in the 2015 presidential election. They argued that by the provisions of the nation’s Constitution, the President, having contested the presidential election twice, won and taken the oath of office and allegiance twice in respect of that office, could no longer present himself for election to that office the third time. They relied on the provisions of sections 132(1), 135(2)(a) and (b), 137(1)(b), 142(1) and (2) and the Supreme Court’s decision in the case of Marwa and Nyako (2012) 6 NWLR (Part 1296) 199 at 306. They contend that by the provision of the Constitution, the President and Vice President, who were elected in the same election and sworn into office on the same date and at the same ceremony are, in law, taken to have been elected for one single term of four years notwithstanding the death or even impeachment of the President. At the proceedings on Monday, their lawyer, Mr. Abiodun Owonikoko, a senior advocate of Nigeria, who led two other senior advocates; Mr. Okon Efut and Mahmud Magaji, requested the court to order an accelerated hearing into the matter in view of the fast approaching 2015 general elections. He pointed out that despite the fact that INEC and the Attorney General and Minister of Justice had been served the court papers along with hearing notices, they failed to come to court. Owonikoko noted that the order for an accelerated hearing will enable the court to speedily dispose of the matter in view of the general elections scheduled to commence in February, 2015. The trial judge, Justice A. R. Mohammed, noted that the defendants still have time within the statutory period to respond and file in their papers, but agreed that the matter is such that needs to be dispensed with speedily. He subsequently adjourned the matter till 12 November for mention. |

Nigerian movie will not seize to amaze me. How can they just use 30 minutes for advert in a particular movie. And use only 20 minutes for the main show. I wonder what our movie industry is becoming of. Even the movie produced is just the repetetion of what has been done before. The only different there is "RENAMING" and "LOCATION" is this really entertainment or what? |
'Why Did all Others Survive? Family of First US Ebola Victim say he received unfair treatment: The family of Ebola victim Thomas Eric Duncan are venting their outrage that the late Liberian may not have received the same quality of care leading up to his death as the other patients treated in the U.S. for the dreaded virus.Reverend Jesse Jackson who had been by the family's side told CNN He got sick and went to the hospital and was turned away, and that's the turning point here,' According to Mailonline, when Duncan first went to Texas Presbyterian on September 25, he was sent home with a prescription for antibiotics and was never tested for Ebola, despite telling nurses that he had come from Ebola-stricken Liberia. His enraged cousin told ABC ... “No one has died of Ebola in the U.S. before. This is the first time,”We need all the help we can get.” Unlike Ebola victims Dr Rick Sacra and NBC cameraman Ashoka Mukpo, Duncan did not receive a transfusion of blood from American Ebola survivor Dr Kent Brantly after he was finally diagnosed. Weeks says doctors told the family 'that the blood wasn’t a match.' And unlike Brantly and his fellow missionary Nancy Writebol, Duncan did not receive the 'miracle' experimental drug ZMapp, which officials say has completely run out in the United States. Instead, doctors began giving Duncan the experimental antiviral drug brincidovir. The newly approved drug - which was developed not for Ebola but for smallpox and herpes virus came too late. All five have been flown to specially-designed infectious disease wards in Nebraska or Atlanta for treatment by some of the world's top doctors.

Another Deadly Virus Surfaces - Marburg Haemorrhagic Fever (MHF) With West Africa, and indeed the rest of the world, still reeling from the deaths brought about by the Ebola virus, the recent death of a Ugandan hospital technician of another deadly viral disease, Marburg Haemorrhagic Fever (MHF), has brought fresh fears Uganda’s Ministry of Health disclosed that a total of 99 people who had been in contact with the victim had been moved to quarantine. These contacts are being monitored for signs and symptoms of the disease after tests confirmed that the 30-year-old man who worked as a radiographer in a Kampala hospital died of the disease.see photo below The man was said to have had a headache, abdominal pains, diarrhoea and vomited blood before he died.Marburg virus was first identified in 1967, after simultaneous outbreaks in Marburg (from which the disease takes its name) and Frankfurt both in Germany, Belgrade, Serbia and Yugoslavia. It was later traced back to monkeys imported from Uganda for laboratory work. Since then, the virus has appeared sporadically, with just a dozen outbreaks on record. The most recent outbreak, also in Uganda, in 2012, killed four out of 15 patients, according to the United States of America’s Centers for Disease Control and preventive |
FOREIGN NURSES VS NIGERIAN NURSES.. If you see where a woman is giving birth abroad , even as a man you will feel like getting pregnant .. In abroad, For only one woman in labour , you will see an Obstetrician , A Gynecologist , A General Surgeon , A Specialist Surgeon , An Anesthestist , A Registered Nurse /Midwife/, plus Social Welfare Officer and So On-- And they pet woman in labour "that's why it is called Delivery Room over there"......... ................ But in Nigerian my Country it is called "Labour Room" and if you see what women go through here, you will agree wit me that it should also be call "Confession and Trial Room" Nigerian nurses makes pregnancy look like a criminal offence ,, and the worse thing is that they are everywhere both in private nd government hospital .. For Instance, when a woman who is in labour is brought to the hospital , they will throw her into the labour room and lock her up like a criminal awaiting trial and they will go to the reception and be gossiping or go into the Dr' s office nd be totoring until the woman will start shouting like goat. And when they go to meet her, is not help her but to insult her: "You go dey hear things like" Na me do you? The man wey do u dey here o! Madam push o! Abeg open ur leg joor! Abi you wan kill ur pekin? .. You better push now or i go leave you here o! TRUE OR FALSE |

Man With 17-Hour Erection Has 24 Injections In His Manhood To Relieve Suffering Friday morning started for Jason Garnett, a hotel worker, as a real nightmare for every man. The painful erection started after Jason had spent a hot night with his friend. Jason waited for several hours to let his penis go down, and even had an ice bathbut with no luck. And when pain became agonising the couple finally called an ambulance and the 23-year-old man was rushed to a local hospital. Doctors first tried to slow blood flow by injecting his penis 24 times but that didn’t work. Doctors finally decided to drain almost a liter of blood from Jason’s private parts to relieve suffering.Speaking about the incident Jason said: “Ending up in hospital with a permanent erection was probably the most embarrassing day of my life. Seeing them stab my penis with a needle was a horrible experience like something out of a horror film. The pain was a 10 out of 10. It is completely normal now, apart from the fact that it looks like it’s been through a war. It’s all a bit black and blue.”
