All the drinks were packed inside a pick-up, if anybody complained of lack of drink, he will direct the person to me, then I will give the person one bottle to drink inside the car also with the assurance that we will soon bring all the drinks to the occassion ground as soon as the church members leaves. This was how the wedding went successfully, and he got a very nice gift. Believe me that 80% of the drink was returned to the seller. Because it was a planned event.

Missing Air Asia Plane Search efforts officially end:

Efforts to recover the wreckage of the ill-fated Air Asia flight QZ8501 have officially ended.The Indonesian military stated that it did not find the bodies of any more victims despite pulling out the plane’s fuselage.
“The operation has been ongoing for 30 days so the joint team has been pulled out,” Rear Admiral Widodo, a navy official supervising the operation told Reuters.“We apologize to the families of the victims. We tried our best to look for the missing victims.”

Searchers have found 70 bodies in the Java Sea since the plane crashed on December 28.

The plane was carrying 162 passengers when it suddenly disappeared from radar shortly after taking off from Surabaya, Indonesia for a journey to Singapore.

He warned all the traditional rulers and local government chairmen that if the issue of kidnapping take place again anywhere in Abia state, both the L.G.A chairman and traditional ruler of that particular area will be sacked. And today, come to Abia state, you will never hear any form of kidnapping. So please, let's not expect GEJ to come down from Aso Rock to catch Boko Haram for us or do some other things you have listed. Let your governors make a move. Because they are constantly receiving federal allocation to do the necessary things that need to be done in your states.

Cameroon is recruiting 20,000 more defense and security forces to fight Boko Haram following reports that the terrorist group, based in Nigeria, is recruiting young Cameroonians to fight for them.

2015: Benue APC in free-for-all

The crisis rocking the Benue state chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, deepened Thursaday resulting in a free-for-all by top officials of the party at its Makurdi Secretariat.The crisis also led to the confiscation of primary election materials by House of Assembly aspirants (names withheld) who also burnt them thereby rendering the primaries without result or evidence.Vanguard gathered from one of the victims of the altercation and House of Assembly aspirant, Mr. Mike Utsaha that he was at the party secretariat for the party primaries as directed by the committee in charge of the exercise.He said, “I saw a Hilux van drive into the secretariat that was initially restricted only for aspirants and delegates.” It was at that same time that I saw the state chairman coming down from his office upstairs. He started shouting and went straight to where the electoral committee members were. He forcefully grabbed the electoral materials, tore them in shreds and ordered everybody out of the secretariat”.

“One of the female member of the committee who attempted to protest was pounced upon by the thugs that accompanied the chairman. I started recording everything that was happening and in the process, one of the boys informed the chairman of my action.
“The chairman violently approached me and hit me on the mouth insisting I must give him my iPhone. When I resisted, he directed the boys to ensure they took the phone from me. I was beaten up mercilessly same for some other persons”, he further narrated.”
