Then I was wondering if the SME can be able to meet up with the underlisted criteria. Our government is not helping matters at all. When the cassava matures, you harvest and process it into either of garri, fufu, ethanol, syrup, starch or flour (outputs of cassava processing) depending on the machines budgeted for and the scale in use. Now, on a daily basis an average and even the poorest Nigerian can afford to eat at least a starchy food such as the garri, fries (made with flour) etc. That means the consumability of the outputs of cassava processing are higher and should therefore fetch more revenue with less expenses in production and preservation.

I run a frozen food store, package them in 10kg breast, 10kg laps and whole chicken between 1.2- 1.7 kg because that range is more profitable. The actual issue is with the processing and storage and logistics..you will need at least a 1 ton cold room and generator, and structure the business such that you keep cost and production well monitored. For now I think you should employ manual laborers for the processing, just the cold storage and electricity are most important if you have mastered the production well
