Job Title: Italian Chef

Location: Warri, Delta State

Job Description


As the Italian Chef, you will supervise Italian food preparation and presentation in accordance to prevailing standard and standardised menu guidelines, participate in the planning and costing of Italian menus, develop and write standard Italian recipes, develop new Italian dishes and products, ensure that outstanding Italian culinary technical skills are maintained, assist with organizing special events and special food promotions, maintain comprehensive product knowledge including ingredients, equipment, suppliers, markets, and current trends and make recommendations for appropriate adjustments to kitchen operations accordingly, maintain a hygienic kitchen.

Supervise general catering operations and crew to ensure compliance with company standards of service at both offshore and onshore locations.

Applicant will also be acting as supervisor and trainer to junior staff involved in catering and hospitality provision to the various oil companies that we have contract to provide catering and hospitality service for.

He or she will be responsible in ensuring standards stipulated in existing contract between oil firm and ours are met.

Applicant will also act as liason person between customers and employers as concerns issues in services rendered.

Possession of Basic First aid, Firefighting, HUET or BOSIET training certificates will be an added advantage.

5-10 years minimum experience in the catering industry, preferably in the Oil and Gas Industry.

Extensive Knowledge of Nigeria would be an added Advantage

To prepare, cook and serve authentic Italian dishes. You will also exhibit your culinary talents by personally performing tasks while leading the staff and managing all food related functions. In addition you will work with our team to improve guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget, ensuring that sanitation and food standards are achieved.

* Culinary art degree or its equivalent
* Hands on Expertise in Italian Cusine
* Experience in high-end operation and large Conference & Event management
* Creative and open minded
