Something definitely seemed odd about the finale and I don't think it's the writers. I mean they must have known what the fans wanted. They are both works of art. One, a bland adaptation of the other. From the onset of the series, GRRM and the creators knew exactly how the show would end and I remember watching a book signing of GRRM on YouTube where he said the books and the show will definitely end on the same note but the journey to that end will differ then fast forward to the finale after the painful harm have been fed, he comes out to play damage control and says the books will have its own ending different from the show. Really!!! He never for once blamed D & D... If it's anything... He told the fans not to be hard on them


In conclusion, I think either the creators had a fallen out with George and he retracted his ending. Then, with no source material to adapt and the finale close by... They made sure they bombed it or George had a deal with HBO to change the finale as to sell more copies when "winds of winter" and "A dream of spring" finally hit the market. Let's face it, if we did get the finale we wanted and it's the exact same with the books, it will be bye-bye books for most readers or maybe i'm just reading too much into it but one thing is certain. They definitely knew the ending the fans wanted

Wonder why they didn't submit for VFX. RDJ for Best Actor, not in their dreams. A nomination is even impossible. Best picture hardly foreseeable; this year got numerous solid awards contenders.

best Picture is not a long shot, idk ppl think this. Endgame probably won’t get nominated simply because this year is too crowded. We already have a solid group of smaller films like Marriage Story, JoJo Rabbit, Ford v Ferrari, OUATIH, Ad Astra, Parasite, The Farewell, 1917, The Lighthouse and Joker already dominating that topic with Endgame being included as well

You can download the books but I really don't fare well reading books on screen, I'd rather print them out for posterity as I did with most of the Ebooks I have especially when they are not stored on the cloud.

Fantasy is quite the most popular genre these days. I mean it's like escaping this world and transporting to a land you created, you make your rules and people follow. You are definitely your own God. I'm really excited for the witcher and I'm sure they will adapt the books to the latter. Seven seasons are already planned and also his dark materials, i want to see more of Daphne Keen... The girl has potential. I think BBC are adapting the wheels of time... I maybe wrong though

Nah, BBC are in collabo with HBO for producing His Dark Materials. I hear they are also collaborating on other HBO Max original programming. Wheel of Time is being developed in Amazon Prime. The one I'm really hyped for is Amazon's Middle Earth/ LoTR

What I would point as the major factor that precipitated the disaster of GoT's final season, was the lack of GRRM's involvement. For the first time since the show started, the writers were forced to slum it alone in the darkness, and boy, did they suck at it. I hope it won't be the case again. I want the new prequel to be based squarely on GRRM's books, and I want him as a full executive producer/creative consultant asap.

Yea. House of The Dragon has been ordered to series. Will have 10 episodes. Focuses on the Targaryen Dynasty and will include Aegon's Conquest and Targaryen civil war.

Its not for a single flick I meant. Watching films regularly a year, like 5/6 films Gonna burn a significant hole in your pocket. And I know you watch movies regularly in the cinema. That's y I say u privileged. I'm a cinephile, I watch tons of movies a year, probably around 50 or more. So movie going can't quench my appetite.

i and my guys watched jurassic park the lost world and we all agreed it was a shit movie

Lol, I remember my own experience sometime. I watched Man of Steel back then on Alaba dub disk and I agreed it was a shit movie. Now fast forward 2 months ago and I say its a Masterpiece. Even Guardians of the Galaxy was annoying, Zootopia it was less fun. And I vow never again to download Camrip after I learnt a lesson the hard way.

The IMDB is 5.4 or so which is swinging from medicore to bad to say the least, the plot was in the gutters and it was even far from generic...the performance from both leads was medicore too especially Rebel wilson...not a movie i will recommend to anyone.

IMDB 5.4 rating swings perfectly balanced in between both extremes. Well, the movie is one I also would not recommend to anyone.

The Hustle 7/10?? That movie was beyond terrible..it was like 14% on RT..lacked any sort of direction or purpose despite having a fairly strong lead.

Lol, I purely gave it 7 cos of the performance from Anne Hathaway and maybe Rebel Wilson. The rest were just basic comedy. It's the predictable generic comedy movie we get these days. I would originally give it a 6 but that performance as stated above.

Of course RT is all but bullshit these days. That movie is definitely not worth the rating on RT. It's not that bad. It's watchable and not the terrible tag you are giving it. Well, it's each to his own opinion.
