Yes, this new management has been phenomenal with their business so far. The only drawback has been Birds of Prey so far.

HBOMax launch has been a brilliant IDEA, and launching huge DC projects on it with Green Lantern, SnyderCut and JL Dark is massive. They sure know their onions and want maximum gains and potential. I love that ambitious and winning mentality, not that annoying underdog mentality of WB.

Imagine next year we'd have an unprecedented release of 3 DC live action movies in a single year! Almost all are in Production or going into Production within this year. Another 3 also in 2022, I love this push.

Most people were lied to by the fake critics and bloggers thats why mostly the mcu thrived.

Give the mcu the same negative backlash that the DCEU saw and watch their empire crumble instantly..

We all saw the way Kevin Feige, Bob Iger and the mcu fandom was shaking when martin scorsese said that mcu was theme park and not cinema.

Lol, that really shook them to the bone marrow.

Also when Joker arrived and they were bribing media and critics to bad mouth it but failed. They first started sweating when they heard it won the Golden Lion.

It was obvious these critics are Disney paid. If you noticed the pattern, almost all MCU loving critics were the ones very vocal with the negativity back then. And boom nothing happened, no violence they went mum.

Funny thing they were really silent when violence broke out in a Disney movie premiere— Frozen 2. After all the brouhaha about Joker in October.

I think Scott Mendelson is a bit fair in his judgments when comparing those (likely) in Disney's payroll.
I also think Forbes Magazine always play safe when it comes to cbm reviews by having Mark Hughes siding DCEU and Scott Mendelson for MCU.

Yea, Scott is objective in his Box office predictions and analysis, but he's also bias when it comes to DCEU movie review. He was kinda fair about Joker though. But said some shit about Aquaman and saying the DCEU is dead.

Let's assume that this is truly by all qualifications a Nigerian movie, going by that assumption, I must then admit that this is the best Nigerian movie I have seen based only on its cinematography, acting and scores. Every other aspect was underwhelming and somehow disappointing. There is no doubt there was some quality, but the plot especially felt sluggish and narrow. The characters lost their charisma as the movie progressed and just abandoned any little depth they previously had.

I might finally read the book, maybe it will help me appreciate the story more.

The Abo.kis and Afonjas really did us in. Imagine hating on someone for progressing.

True.. Fantasy books are so wild and intricate with so many time line, characters and plots so cramping them into movies will definitely leave out so many things even GOT that had a series run left out so many things from the book (the book actually hasn't even ended but the series has) on that note Amazon prime currently have a series for LOTR in works... personally i don't see the need anymore tho.

You say what?? LOTR have tons of stories.... Ages, Era and millenia of stories to tell.

GOT still got more series coming focusing on other stories. Me? I can't wait.

It replaces WB "In The Heights" August release. Scoob! Set for May release has also been pulled out till further notice when a new release date will be worked out.

This comes as the Coronavirus pandemic has caused closures of theaters Nationwide/Worldwide.
