TEXT: Luke 6:30-38(NKJV)
30. "Give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your goods do not ask [them] back.
31. "And just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise.
32. "But if you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them.
33. "And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.
34. "And if you lend [to those] from whom you hope to receive back, what credit is that to you? For even sinners lend to sinners to receive as much back.
35. "But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil.
36. "Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful.
37. " Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
38. "Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you."

STUDY: Many years ago, I had a prayer partner who usually travelled a long distance to where I was for us to pray together and I catered for his transportation each time he came around. Although, he asked me not to bother because of my financial status but I always made sure I gave him no matter how difficult it was for me.
Every of my actions was guided by the Word of God in Psalms 126:5. If you want to enjoy the guidance of God, you must commit yourself to giving. Giving opens the door of God's guidance that will help you in fulfilling your purpose in life.
The promise of God concerning the people that are helping the poor is that God will guide them continually (Isaiah 58:11). It is a continuous thing. There is no time that abundance will stop in your life. The Bible says ‘you will be like a watered garden that will not lack water forever’. It is the duty of the gardener to provide water for his garden.
These are the benefits and the promises that God gives to those who will make the poor happy. The greatest evangelism is to put smiles on the faces of people. It is when the poor is happy that they can ask you who your God is so that they can follow Him and be like you. Don't preach Jesus Christ without solving problems. When problems are solved, people will ask you what your secret is and then, you can show them Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ, our perfect example fed thousands in the wilderness. He gave them bread, fish and they ate to the point where they gathered the left-over into baskets. This made the multitude follow Jesus Christ wherever He went. When you solve people’s problems, they will ask for your God. They will even ask themselves whether they are serving the right God. Even those who are serving the right God will ask themselves whether they are serving Him in the right way. You show case your God by your action (Giving), not by your speech alone.
Luke 6:38 ‘Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.’ - ESV.

PRAYER: Oh Lord, help me to commit myself to giving. Amen.

The Lord will release him anywhere he may be now in Jesus Christ

Romans 12:1-3
Many are busy doing so many things in the house of God. many are also involved in various charity works within and outside the church. these are commendable works but it is very important to note that your reasonable service unto GOD is to present your body a living sacrifice and holy. that is what is acceptable to God.
Hebrews12:24 it is written, " follow peace with all men and holiness, without which no eye shall see the lord". it is wisdom to pursue, by the mercies of God, those virtues that wil make you acceptable to God. you cannot be a candidate for heaven if you are not acceptable to God.To be holy and acceptable to God is to be separated from the ways of the world. James4:4 it is written, "ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that friendship with the world is enmity with God?"...
common sense tells us that whosoever is at enmity with God cannot end up in heaven.
Examine your life and purge yourself of every form of worthiness, so that you will be acceptable to God.
