Although the constitution do not say that each states should pay Corp members but at least, what is good is good. Corpers are serving their father land on a strange land and environment. The states Governments have the ability to be paying some certain amounts at least to encourage the youths.

When i was posted to Plateau State to serve my father land, i was very happy because i thought that Corpers serving in Plateau state will enjoy so many goodies.

I thought to myself that that the person who established NYSC General Yakubu Gowon was born in Kanke, a Local government in Plateau state. However, i was not only disappointed, i was mesmerized when i actually discover it’s otherwise.

Apart from the #19,800 by the federal government, the state Government is also responsible at least a little for Corp members. Some states see it as a development to be paying Corpers serving in the state, why some states don't just care at all.
The list might not be 100% accurate, because changes is very effective in Nigeria as people change things anyhow.

I compiled a list of states in Nigeria and how much they are paying corp members serving under them. let’s take a look at the lists below:

Why do people always have this believe that during your service year you must have saved enough from your alawee??, plss who among us can boast of 100k savings from alawee. so you can atleast share with us how you did it with just your 19800 and no state or ppa stipend

Hello everyone. Just surfing and stumble on this thread and I felt I should drop these facts. I qualified last diet having passed the final 5 papers at the Professional level. Whilst I must say that I enjoyed spectacular grace of God both in preparations and exams, I also did some practical things. First of all, I will encourage you to get Pathfinder for EACH course. Yes! At least, practice last 20 diets questions for each paper. Be thorough, don't rush to check answers, if you do, you only succeed in deceiving yourself. Then, textbooks are also recommended. Take Professional level for instance, you can't afford to write SFM without devouring Akinsulire text. It is that critical. I solved all the questions from the first to the last chapter. For CR, Teach Yourself IFRS by Prince Casmir was very very helpful. For ATAX, the ICAN study pack is highly recommended. Devour it from page to page. My lecture note sufficed for AAA but I also got a pack with ACCA questions for like 20 diets as well. For Case Study, get a thorough knowledge of models including Balanced Scorecard, Ashridge, Value Chain, BCG etc. In summary, lay your hands on as much questions as possible coupled with the class notes for those that could attend one.

honestly this is no longer a joke. i subscribe to what someone rightly said, this govvernment is a deaf and dumb government with stupidity hovering around thier head. they cant just deny and delay the potential vision of a PCM all because of their insensitivity to the plight of the youth who have decided to partake in the scheme. let them come out and tell us what is really going on. for God sake we are in a modern n digital world. they should do the right thing. i will join forces to go any length to ensure we are heard n addressed. what nonsense!!!

if thats really the issue on ground the DG should address the PCM so we will not be let in the dark. they cant just keep quiet and expect us to believe all is well while all is not well. wasted 5months gone now all in the name of nysc batch A stream2
