All candidates who applied for Law but scored between 180 and 199 are to take their PUTME in Faculty of Arts while candidates who applied for Medicine and Surgery but scored between 180 and 199 are to take their PUTME along with Anatomy, Physiology (under College of Health Sciences) and Faculty of Science.
Note: Those who wrote the September 2018 PUTME are exempted from registering for this final Mop-Up examination.

The management of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), has released the registration and screening procedure for the 2018/2019 academic session newly admitted UTME candidates.
Candidates are advised to follow the underlisted registration procedure strictly.

UNILAG New Students Screening Procedure.
The 2018/2019 Merit Registration Exercise for all newly admitted UTME undergraduate candidates has been scheduled to hold from Monday, 22nd October to Friday, 9th November, 2018, in various faculties between 9:00a.m. and 3:00p.m. daily. Please note that candidates are to report by 8:30a.m.for the exercise.

Prospective candidates are to check their admission status on JAMB website.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
Impersonation is a serious offence and anybody found guilty of this will automatically forfeit his/her admission and may be handed over to Security Operatives.
DRUG USE: The University has zero tolerance for drug use; hence a compulsory test shall be conducted for all newly admitted students before or after registration. The admission of newly admitted students that test POSITIVE TO DRUG USE shall be withdrawn.

UNIOSUN Announces Closure of the University

The Governing Council of Osun State University has approved the closure of the University with immediate effect. This is sequel to the notorious activities of some non-teaching staff members under the guise of unionism. These activities now pose danger to lives and properties within and around the university campuses.

Management wishes to sincerely apologize to parents, guardians and students for any inconveniences that this closure may cause. Efforts are geared towards addressing the prevalent lawlessness finally.

We urge our law abiding staff and students to remain calm and stay away from the campuses in the mean time.

visit the University of Lagos website (www.unilag.edu.ng)
on the prospective students menu, click on the School of Foundation Studies
go through the information on subject combinations relevant to your proposed choice of course of study for Direct Entry admission.
complete the Pre-Application Form to obtain a payment reference number (PRN) using the applicant’s names.
For University of Lagos Staff Children:

Click the staff biological child link, provide 5 digit staff ID number and select appropriate name on the staff children list to obtain a payment reference number (PRN).
Cost of Application Form (including on line practice tests (excluding Bank Charges)): N25, 000.00 (non-refundable).
Make payment at any Commercial bank in Nigeria with the payment reference number (PRN)
– Return to the University website, click on School of Foundation Studies and click on continue Application. Log in with PRN and applicant’s surname in lowercase as password.

This is to inform all staff and students in Cross River University of technology of Management’s decision on the dates of Matriculation of First Year Students, the Students Week as well as the First Semester Examinations for 2017/2018 Academic Session as follows:

The Matriculation of First Year Students in all programs in the University shall hold from Monday 9th April, 2018 through Tuesday 10th April, 2018.

Only First Year Students who have paid their school fees in full shall be eligible to participate in the Exercise. Students who do not meet this condition shall either lose their studentship or pay the prescribed fees later and defer their admission to 2018/2019 Session.

First Semester Examinations for Final Year Students will commence from Monday 23rd April, 2018 through Saturday 28th April, 2018. Examinations for other students will start from Monday 30th April, 2018 through Saturday 12th May, 2018. Management wishes all students well in their Examinations and encourages them to study hard in order to succeed.

All continuing Students should ensure that they pay their fees up to date or at least up to the Second Semester of 2016/2017 Academic Session in line with the extant regulations of the University on payment of school fees.

The Student Week shall commence on Wednesday 11th April, 2018 and end on Saturday 14th April, 2018. All students are enjoined to support the week.

The University shall observe the Public Holidays on Friday 30th March, 2018 and Monday 2nd April, 2018 respectively. Activities in the University shall resume on Tuesday 3rd April, 2018. Management wishes all a Happy Holiday.

Following passionate appeals by the Student Union Government, the Vice-Chancellor has magnanimously approved on behalf of the Senate, an extension of the deadline for payment of fees and registration for 2017/2018 Academic Session up to February 15th, 2018.

Students who are yet to pay fees and register are advised to avail themselves of the opportunity of the extension or run the risk of paying late registration fees or withdrawing voluntarily from the 2017/2018 Academic session.
