I want to speak in defense of the gospel especially concerning this nation. We realize a lot of gangings and war against the Church of Jesus. But the Church of Jesus in Nigeria shall continue to prevail. Through the Church, there would be rest for this nation. Lots of wars especially against Churches like yours because of the positive effects.
You hear stories of fights against Church here and there. You know physical, social media and all of that. All because of the light of the Church. Satan is attacking to stop the light from shining. But not when you and I are here. There is no place like the Church. NO!
There is no organization in this country that is giving progress and image to the nation like the Church. There is no place better organized and corruption free like the Church. And many of us who are familiar with that know what I am talking about. There is no place as maintained as the Church.
There is no place that is as useful as the Church and church people. NO Where! All the killings against Church related people shall be ended!
One respected Nigerian put up a social media message. I’ve never met him before, I understand his name is Dele Momodu. And wrote something very beautiful about the Church, well crafted. He said why do they complain about pastors? Pastors are running their Churches one hundred percent better than the way the President is running the country.
He said ‘The fact is many Nigerians are losing it. They can’t think of not going after pastors. In what way have pastors prevented Nigerians from owning an airline? You are complaining about one pastor flying an aircraft, Did he say you shouldn’t fly your own as a nation?’
Did you find out what he is using his own for? Go to Ghana you have ten thousand souls won, go to Kinshasa five thousand souls are won and yet there are wasteful people in this country who are flying aircraft for evil. There are many young people who are flying aircraft for music show leading many more people to hell. Nobody complains about them. In what way do pastors prevent Nigerians from having industries?
He said further, ‘if you run your government the way the Church leaders are running churches, Nigeria might be another Qatar right now.’
He said ‘In all these arguments, Canaanland has had stable electricity and water supply to its over fifteen thousand residents since 1999 and is already at the verge of converting waste to electricity.
RCCG is also producing 25 megawatts of electricity. Yet your government, you pay compulsory tax, pay Vat, CIT, Petroleum Tax and has not been able to give lights decades after independence.
Living Faith has more than 25,000 (35,000) staff and has never owed any of them salary. Yet your state government collects Allocations plus Tax and cannot pay full salary. ‘
You see why people are angry with the Church? The Progress every day! I have been privileged to be part of this commission since inception. There is no day that staff salary is delayed. And we are increasing daily, increasing daily. Churches are over 15,000 today. Not one day delay of salary. How is it getting done? Organization, Organization, Organization!!
Nobody talks about it. The scholarships given by the church to people all across the globe in billions. Nobody talks about the road repairs that the Church is engaged in doing.
On our road here, attempts were made, "Let us repair it."
They said: No, you can’t repair it, how are we going to make money if you repair it?
The Church is doing a lot to establish rest for the Nation. In case you don’t know, it is good for us to be aware of it. Particularly for the fact that outsiders are now writing about this.
Hear more, ‘Living Faith, a single Church, is schooling sixteen thousands of your citizens in Higher Institutions and many more at primary and secondary levels and yet you think you have the capacity to waggle your tongue.’
The man who is not a member of this Church said ‘I went for Shiloh and throughout my stay in the staff quarters, yet it was electricity all through; for one second, water did not go off in spite of thousands that were present. On a normal day you wouldn’t walk twenty meters before you find a segregated bin to dispose your waste. No dirt anywhere everywhere is clean. The entire area was fully covered by different layers of security with multiple CCTV and IoT enabled barrier gates. And yet your Abuja, capital of the nation, does not have CCTV yet you open your mouth to talk down on pastors! Cannaanland hosts hundreds of thousands of people every week yet no stampede ever. Government gathered people at stadium for recruitment exercise and before it even began 'people were dead.’
We are talking about the effects of the Church on the nation. Don’t let anybody confuse you. This is the reason for every form of attack you see on the Church. Let’s take over, we will set up Board of Trustees for them, so that they can use their corruption to consume the Church. But God will never allow that. God will never allow that.
So I speak this morning, as God’s agent under this Commission. Every perpetrator of evil against the nation, against the Church, will go down for the Church. They will go down for the Church.
Why are we speaking this way? Because Jesus was on the sea and when there was great storm, He rebuked the storm..(Mark 4;39).
The Elijahs' of God are rising again. We will not watch the Church trampled upon by anyone. Corruption is to their neck. Stealing has become like drinking water to many in this nation today. All the taxes being paid are put in the pockets of many and you are saying the Church should not speak. The Church will keep speaking. Check the records of the Church. All the accounts are well audited.
Is there any place as organized as the Church? No! No!
Projects are executed to accuracy. Everything is done orderly, no bribery anywhere.
By reason of my privileged virtue, no banker sees me for anything. You don’t come behind and say you want to give me some money, For what? For what? I am content with what I have. I am blessed.
The Church of Jesus will keep prevailing in this land. As you are having rest in your life and your family, God will give rest to this nation.
A few days ago a Christian was being announced to take over a government parastatal as chairman. In the same news, in that same news, few minutes after they announced that he has been removed. Somebody else is put there. Somebody else who will perpetuate their intentions and you say the Church should not speak.
The Church will speak! The Church will speak! Give us the explanation. Why must you remove a Christian and put somebody else there. HABA!! Somebody who has occupied a position and is competent to do it. In the same news! 9pm news, by the close of that news you say the person is removed and somebody else is put there.
And you say the Church should not speak?
The Church will speak, the Church will speak!! Give us the explanation. Is it only Fulani people that know how to do things?
Why are you putting them everywhere?
Why??
It’s a nation of Freedom, It is a nation of people. Whether you are from Taraba, or from Kano or from Kasina or from Oyo State. It is a nation that belongs to everybody. It is a nation where people are generating resources. Don’t carry the resources to feed certain set of people in the nation. That is where we stand. That is where the Church stands. That is where God stands. And standing with God is standing in victory. What I have read to you was not written by a Church member. It was written by somebody who is reasoning.
A Nigerian reasoning who has made comparison as per how things are happening. And they are happening well. Go round this premises for instance. You would see everything orderly, everywhere calm, look at the horticultural. With most minimal expenses, everything is going on well. This is not where people will take contracts of five billion and you would see…a wooden bridge constructed with Five Billion. HABA!!! God must rise in this nation, God must rise in this nation! The Church is not apologetic. No! The Church is a spiritual active center affecting every part of the nation. Therefore you are released to go as a positive contributor to the nation.

NIGERIA WILL BE KNOW FOR CORRUPTION WORLDWIDE AND WILL LATER RISE AND BE KNOWN FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS

l heard about Pa S. G. Elton who left his native country, England, to come to Nigeria in March 1937 saying in the coming revival, – Africa is like a hand gun turned downward; Nigeria is the trigger…’ Until his passage in Ilesa in January 13, 1987, PA Elton’s fifty years fruitful ministry in Nigeria concentrated on teaching prophetic truths and he was in partnership with the on-going Oke Oye 1930 Revival in Ilesa led by Apostle Joseph Ayodele Babalola. Pa Elton facilitated a potent platform to impact and disciple young men and women who continue to be in the forefront of genuine evangelical revival.
Among other prophecies of Pa Elton was that ‘Nigeria/Nigerians will be known for corruption worldwide but the tide will turn and Nigeria will also be known for righteousness worldwide. Many shall take hold of him that is a Nigerian, saying, We will go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.’ Pa Elton, a fruitful discipler influenced the leadership and ministry of many new generation churches in Nigeria including Archbishop of Benson Idahosa of the Church of God Mission, Benin, Apostle Ayodele Babalola, of the Christ Apostolic Church, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye of the Redeemed Church of God, Lagos, Bishop of David Oyedepo of Winners Chapel, Bishop Wale Oke of the Sword of God’s Ministry, Ibadan, and many others in Africa generally. According to Pastor Oluwanisola of Life Link Ministry International, Ilesa, Pa Elton would be remembered for his ability to handover several churches he planted to others as directed and spoken to by God.
The reflection and sad news is that God is no respecter of person or nation hence, He can pass over a generation if they are unwilling to obey and cooperate with God to achieve His missionary purpose. In these days and time when God’s Truths are compromised on the altar of immediate comfort, pleasure, power, and wealth, God is saying to the church, ‘it is not right for us as apostles to abandon the teaching of the Word of God, and serve tables.’ God is calling us to repentance and to give ourselves to prayer, and the ministry of the Word. As we thank God for the ministry of Pa Elton and others all over the world, let us pray for church and leadership renewal.

GOD’S PROPHETIC AGENDA FOR NIGERIA AND AFRICA
1. 1983- NATIONAL PRAYER CONFERENCE CHRISTIANS STUDENTS SOCIAL MOVT. (CSSM)
This year was the year of the coup that ousted the Shagari Government. The Lord spoke to us as we gathered in prayer in Port Harcourt, not even aware that a coup had taken place.
Son of man say to Nigeria; though you have passed through the valley of the shadow of death, thus saith the Lord, you shall not die but shall live.
2. 1983 AT THE FIRST NATIONAL CONVENTION OF THE FULL GOSPEL BUSINESS MEN’S FELLOWSHIP INTERNATIONAL (FGBMFI) HELD AT HOTEL PRESIDENTIAL IN PORT HARCOURT
A visiting delegate from New Mexico USA spoke about visions of black men that God was giving him while he was in his home country. When he asked about who the black men where, The Lord he said explained to him that these black men where Nigerians. He had never visited Nigeria before and the Lord told him he will soon take him there because the nation Nigeria was a nation he planned to use in revival. He then spoke on in prophecy. Thus saith the Lord- Nigeria and Nigerian Christians will be used by the Lord to preach the gospel in the market places of the World in these last days.
Pastor S. G. Elton spoke prophetically in this meeting concerning two key African nations, saying that Africa is like a gun pointed down. Its turret and muzzle is South Africa. Its trigger is Nigeria. He said the days would come when Apartheid (then at its peak in South Africa) will be removed from South Africa. In those days, he said the Gun of Africa would begin to fire for God’s purpose.
3. EXTRACT, TAPE RECORDED MESSAGE, WEST REGIONAL CONFERENCE, IBADAN, 24-26/05/07
In 1989, on the way to US, I was in Shursbery in UK; I met this accountant who had a message given to him in 1983 during the Rivers of Life Conference in East Anglia in UK. The visioner was in a prayer session with his group when God began to show him a vision. God began to show him a vision of countries and lands that was passing through a draught. As he watched God brought him over a parcel of territory that typifies Africa. As he looked on, at a particular portion of that land, that portion was in total darkness, sparks of light was shooting out of that darkness while groaning and cries were coming out of that darkness. As he continues to watch, it appears somebody used a remote control to pause the motion of pictures. At this point he called out to his brethren, he told them that God was showing him something but it seems nothing was moving anymore. His friends told him to keep watching while they pray for him. As soon as they began to pray, it appeared a play button was pressed and the motion came alive again.
Then greater cries were coming out of that land and suddenly there was blinding flash of light that came and swept away that darkness and the whole land birthed with light. God told him that that land he has just seen is called Nigeria. Then they now sat down and began to ask themselves the meaning of this vision. And God told them that Nigeria is a significant nation in His hands for the establishment of His purposes in the last days, to break the scepter of the religion of sons of the bondwoman, to establish His purposes and that the principality appointed by Lucifer over Nigeria is in the same category as the principality over Israel and European nations. That is as tough as it is going to be to fulfill God’s purposes. So God told them (this British brethren) to constitute themselves to be interceding for Nigeria. So when he heard from his friends in 1989, that a Nigerian was coming, he came to see me (Steve) and to handover the responsibility. As he finished the message, he said since you are a Nigerian, go home and tell your brethren what God has said. As he finished, he greeted everybody and left.
So it is important to recall what God has said concerning Nigeria. A land covered with darkness in which there were groaning and cries with sparks of lights but needed a great light from heaven to blow away the darkness. It happened suddenly. In this day I pass through your land in mercy to renew the face of the nations. Even though the nations are despising you, I have desired you as a place for my glory. Therefore, I the Lord have jealously watched over you to cause my purpose to be done. I have brought you to the valley of decision. There is no time to waste. Arise as a generation for, I have waited for you. I will desire of you genuine dedication. I the Lord will make my demands. But I seek to raise out of you a generation of men who will make my glory known in the ends of the earth. I have purposed it, I will do it. But I ask you to arise. Arise in this day, there is no more time to wait. Arise, Arise, from complacency, Arise from ignorance. Know me the God of destiny. Know me the God of covenants. For I seek to exhibit you to the world. I have come. This day do I desire a commitment from you. I desire not to wait any longer. My time has come and you shall labor in the nations to bring up children. Therefore, arise into this destiny for the world waits for you saith the Spirit of the Lord. 5. 1996 ARLINGTON VIRGINIA USA ICCC CONFERENCE
At this global Christian convocation of the International Christian Chambers of Commerce (ICCC) held in Arlington VA USA, a white American female delegate called those of us from Nigeria together and intimated us about the word which she said the Lord spoke to correct her view of Nigeria as a nation that was forsaken by the Lord. She said that Lord said He was preparing Nigeria for use in the end time harvest of souls. She said the Lord directed her to go read the entire 36th chapter of the book of Ezekiel. He told her that wherever she saw the name Israel in the chapter, she should put the name Nigeria. The Lord said that way; she will see the full scope of his plan for the nation of Nigeria.
6. AHOP CONFERENCE, SWAZILAND 1996
Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you. Acts 13:41.
yet it is ten years and I would have changed the face of your continent.’ For my glory shall come in 10 years.

7. THE LORD SAYS TO NIGERIA
I have given you a missionary spirit and am surely going to change the nations of the earth through you. But now I will give you the anointing to change your nation.
The Lord says, ‘I am going to begin to unravel the corrupt system in Nigeria and men will say it is impossible but I say with God all things are possible’. There is going to be a revival in the Universities and this revival is going to be of such a large magnitude, that the revival in the Universities will affect the secondary schools and will affect the primary schools. And I am going to change Nigeria to the next generation says God. And the Lord says the unity of the leaders is coming. It’s going to uproot and dethrone the occult.’ For I’m going to overthrow the occult spirit.’ And I’m going to use Nigeria to heal the rest of Africa because what happens in Nigeria will affect the whole continent.’
The Lord says I’m going to use the Nigerians in Russia. There will be many churches
planted in Russia. The Lord says I’m going to use your nation. I’m going to use you in the Middle East, God say I’m getting ready to change many things. I’m getting ready to expose this occult in the highest level.’ In the next few months, I’m going to tear it down and I’m going to make it shift and there will be a day violence will no longer be heard of in the streets of Nigeria.’ And it will be one of the safest nations on the face of the earth says God. 8. VISION RECEIVED BY RON SMITH – PARTICIPATING DELEGATE FROM TEXAS USA AT ICCC NIGERIA NATIONAL CONFERENCE HELD AT EXCELLENCE HOTEL, IKEJA LAGOS ON 12TH MARCH, 1998:
‘While I was praying at the end of Emeka’s message, I saw a vision of a Local Africa Market place. It was looking dinghy, dirty and filthy. Then the vision changed. I saw the market transformed into a new environment. Gold, diamond and precious stones of various types were stacked neatly and well arranged on a table. I saw an oil font springing up from the table. I also saw in this new market environment, neatly dressed people in three distinct groups ‘ Men, Boys and Babies (little children).
Then I saw trucks full of gold bars moving across the borders of the countries of Africa. I saw a blood stream flowing ahead of the trucks into villages into which the trucks were coming. As the blood stream entered into the villages, it exploded into white light which enveloped the villages. Thus says the Lord, ‘There is a wave of prosperity coming from the Lord into Africa. The objective is for the salvation of the peoples of Africa. Idolatry will be overthrown in Africa as part of this move. Beware however that you do not replace idolatry with materialism when the release of the wealth comes’.
