This mindset is the root cause of abandoned projects all over Nigeria. Governance is not about ego or personal legacy, it’s about continuity and results. Roads are built for the people, not for politicians to claim ownership. Akwa Ibom State is ahead today because leaders there complete and improve on projects started by others, instead of wasting public funds out of political bitterness. What matters is that the roads serve the people, not who first laid the asphalt.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again without apology: Tinubu’s absolute worst nightmare is an Atiku–Obi alliance, and the fear of it keeps them awake at night. The reason is simple, it would shatter their entire political calculation. Anyone parading themselves as “opposition” while loudly opposing Obi becoming Atiku’s running mate is either hopelessly dishonest or deliberately working for the other side. There is no middle ground. Such people are not allies of change; they are political plants deployed by APC and Tinubu to sabotage unity and protect the status quo.
