Ttalk: Your example of progress is a paper photo, I was expecting you post the one constructed by your governor. Abi it's a taboo for your governor to deliver good projects? I was trying my best not to disgrace the druggie, but you asked for it. Can you really compare what my governor built to that rubbish you call a “Super Highway”? When will you come to your senses and start demanding better from your elected officials?

wunmi590: Good day Nairalanders and football ⚽️ lovers,
Just as the topic, you are just starting your career and you were offered these two contract, to pick one, which will you go for and why?
Let's discuss I’ve always been an Al Nassr fan. Since I was a little kid, I dreamed of playing for this great club with such rich history and tradition. I used to watch their games every weekend, especially during ramadan. It’s an honour to join such a massive institution with passionate fans and an exciting project. The manager really convinced me with his vision. And the €15 million a year also showed great ambition from the club. I feel at home already⚽ |

Properties › Re: Your Building Project As A Salary Earner Under Tinubu Govt. by PROPHETmichael: 9:25am On Jan 20 |
givedemwotowoto: Tinubu is a weapon fashioned against Nigerians.
Over 90% of Nigerians have lost their life savings to extreme hardship, inflation, and insecurity – since Tinubu took office.
He failed to do his job of dealing with insecurity and protecting Nigerians, and when pressured, invited Trump to launch airstrikes on the North.
Vote him out of office in 2027, don't repeat the mistake of 2023. I’m not a Tinubu fan at all, but let’s stop lying to ourselves. Buhari didn’t just “mismanage” the economy, he absolutely destroyed it. Eight years of clueless policies, reckless borrowing, killing local businesses with border closures, choking the naira with fake exchange rates, and letting corruption and insecurity run wild. By the time Tinubu came in, the economy was already on life support. Inflation was already insane, the naira was already crashing, debt was already suffocating us, and millions were already sliding into poverty. So this idea that Tinubu suddenly woke up in May 2023 and ruined Nigeria overnight is pure dishonesty. Most of what people are feeling now is the delayed explosion of Buhari’s disasters finally catching up with the country. That doesn’t make Tinubu innocent. He’s made his own terrible choices, handled reforms badly, and shown very little empathy for ordinary Nigerians. But let’s not pretend he created this mess from scratch. If we’re serious about accountability, then start with the man who set the house on fire before blaming the one who walked into the burning building. Otherwise we’re just rewriting history and repeating the same mistakes again. |

seunmsg: I thought he was just going to roll in his military assets and takeover the place like he has been threatening. Now that EU countries are calling his bluff, he has gone back to his usual illegal tariffs that will be struck down by the court.
The EU will definitely slap back their own tariffs and the people and businesses of America will be the losers. And yes, the US inflation crisis will continue and Republicans will lose the midterm. Hopefully, the Democrats will do the rest of the world a favour by impeaching that guy once they take control of Congress next year. Stop displaying your lack of understanding of power, law, and geopolitics. The POTUS has wide statutory authority over trade and national security. Courts historically stay out of these disputes, especially when Congress has repeatedly handed over that power. Saying “the courts will strike it down” is ignorance of the highest order. Also, blaming tariffs for inflation while ignoring years of reckless spending, monetary expansion, supply chain shocks, and energy policy failures of Democrats is either dishonest or clueless. Inflation did not magically appear because of one trade decision, and pretending otherwise insults anyone who understands basic economics. Don't allow your hatred for Trump becloud your sense of reasoning and I'll advice you stick to local politics. |

This mindset is the root cause of abandoned projects all over Nigeria. Governance is not about ego or personal legacy, it’s about continuity and results. Roads are built for the people, not for politicians to claim ownership. Akwa Ibom State is ahead today because leaders there complete and improve on projects started by others, instead of wasting public funds out of political bitterness. What matters is that the roads serve the people, not who first laid the asphalt. |

Politics › Re: We Have Terrorists In Benue, We Need US Air Strikes - Aondoakaa by PROPHETmichael: 3:27pm On Jan 05 |
Donald Trump no longer needs to come to Nigeria to confront or strike terrorists, because the actions he already took have clearly demonstrated the language that terrorists understand. These actions have sent a strong message about how terrorism should be dealt with. It is now left to President Tinubu to follow the same example and adopt equally decisive measures, if he is truly serious about ending terrorism and restoring security in the country. |

Putindbutt: The deranged criminal in the white house has successfully recategorizes the US as the biggest bandits in the world. What's the difference between bandits in Zamfara stealing gold, killing and kidnapping residents and Trump stealing Venezuela's oil while kidnapping a sitting President and killings over 80 Venezuelans?....
A man who came with a promise to end ALL wars in the world is about to leave the world worse than he met it. The deranged criminal knows this is his last tenure as US President, so he rather destroy as much as he could.
The deranged criminal has succeeded in attracting international terrorism financiers to Nigeria after launching his failed strikes in Sokoto state. International terrorist financiers are now heavily involved in backing these terrorists with more weapons to counter US operations in Nigeria. That's why you see increased spate in terrorist activities after US operation in Nigeria. Different international financiers are ready for the proxy war to keep selling weapons and making money.
Wailers and Bitter Obidients, una mind n0 g0 t0uch gr0und. Ending wars doesn’t mean never engaging in conflict. In reality, some wars end only when force, deterrence, or pressure is applied. Promising peace isn’t the same as promising passivity. I stand with Donald Trump. Their fatal blunder in Nigeria was crawling into bed with Tinubu’s government in the name of collaboration. That single choice poisoned the mission, turning what should have been a strategic operation into outright self-sabotage. Now that Maduro’s operation has been neutralized, they’re clearing the board and this time, they’ll return to Nigeria to dissect and correct that failure with surgical precision. |
